Loved everything about the place except the parking and the shower! Would definitely stay again!

Clean and well equipped, I was alone on business and had to come and go a lot, weekend parking was understandably challenging due to the great location and nice neighborhood. Week day parking was better

The wife and I got to getaway for the weekend and this was a perfect little place to go to. Great location 30 seconds to the beach and barley anyone on the beach. We will definitely come back in the future. Thanks again

Great 1 bedroom with everything you need. Quiet neighborhood that is close to everything. 30 minute commute to Aneheim for work. Just a short walk to 2 different beaches.

Very nice and clean. 2 minutes to beach at ocean or harbor. Bring your own TV but everything else is there. Fast secure internet

The property is nice, clean and cozy.

My husband and I chose this property for our long weekend visiting our son. The location was perfect, on the peninsula, just a couple hundred yards to the beach, and just a few minutes drive to downtown/marina area. We were welcomed with a greeting card and complimentary bottle of wine. The photos and description are accurate. The property was the perfect size for us, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. We enjoying using the beach chairs to watch the sunset on the beach. We had no problem parking right out front the on a Thursday and Friday, On Saturday we parked down the street, but is was a Holiday weekend so I wasn't surprised and it was still pretty close. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. I would definitely rent here again. Thank you M for a great experience!

Property is all that it was advertised and more! Great location...walking the area, especially the beaches was fantastic. The property was very clean, the host was very informative and wonderfully helpful!

Traveled for work & felt like I was on a exclusive Holiday! The Hosts gave a warm welcome & immediately made me feel at home. The home is well kept and peaceful, which made it ideal for business travel. Wifi was flawless & the ability to step out to the Ocean made it priceless. If you want a quiet retreat away from the hustle & bustle of city life, yet within minutes of all the action, then this is the place for you! Look forward to returning with my partner to take in the R&R that this spot has to offer.

Immaculate home with EVERYTHING we needed. It was wonderful to come home to this Oasis in the city with secluded beaches. We'd make dinner, and then stroll the beach at sunset with our coffee; which was just steps from the home. We loved hearing the waves at night. We had a car, but hardly used it as everything was in walking distance; shops, restaurants, bars, & groceries. Super kind Hosts, communication before and during our stay was impeccable. Can't wait to return to this gem!!!

Well appointed, sparkling clean home in an amazing Location! We felt like we were on an Island Getaway. Calm Bay Waters & Breathtaking Sunsets on the Pacific; all just STEPS from the home. The thoughtful Hosts provided Beach Chairs & Beach Towels to enjoy both. Not to mention snacks, coffee, & tea to help get us started. Which we so appreciated after a day of travel. We didn't need a car. We walked & paddled our kayak (rental facility also w/i walking distance) to amazing restaurants & even the grocery stores all along the Bay & Naples Island. Easy paddling for us amateurs & safe walk-able neighborhood. Peaceful location, comfortable bed & a full kitchen made this our home away from home. We will definitely be back!

Loved the location but parking was challenging in the heart of the busy August summer. I remedied this by being patient and driving a loop over and over again until I got a space. So plan an extra 10-20 min and a longish walk if its busy. Having two easy chairs with ottomans would make this space immeasurably more comfortable than the leather loveseat but I am older and having had spine surgeries it is hard to be comfortable. I never met or saw the owner because everything was fine and I needed nothing.

M was wonderful. I was not able to join the trip, however my significant other was still able to visit LB to see his family, and M was very much accommodating to when we needed to push Adam's trip back by a day, and we were still able to get Adam into the condo. We very much appreciate the attentiveness from M! You will love the location, walkability, and easy access to the beach to see the sunset. I wish I had made it this time around but was unable. Adam loved his stay and we will return to this exact spot. You won't regret it!

*Beware of the age restriction prior to booking, and be prepared to sign a lengthy rental agreement. The location of M’s place was great, beautifully situated between the bay and the ocean. Getting into town or to a restaurant does require a car ride. The cell service and WiFi connectivity was very weak, which makes working and taking phone calls nearly impossible.

My husband couldn't stand one more night on that uncomfortable bed so we decided that we would make up a bed on the floor for our last night there. When we got back from our beautiful Gondola ride that evening, we saw mice in the bathroom. It was right then that we decided to leave and cut our trip short. As I was packing, I began to notice little mouse poops in our bags, on the bed and on the kitchen counters. Even though the place was cute and charming, I would not recommend it to anyone because of the mice.

I have never left a bad review until now. I wish I could share pictures of the uncleanliness. Kitchen sink and countertops dirty. Cooktop had a puddle of something wet and grease in one of the burners. Gross old sponges. Needless to say I did not cook there. I swept the floor and my dustpan had broken glass a safety pin, dirt and hair in it. Thank goodness I brought my own cleaning supplies. The worst part is that there was just nothing comfortable about the space. It is listed with a queen bed. My husband is 6’5” and I was questioning if we could get by for 4 days or not. The bed was a full not a queen. The couch is more like a chair and a half so again no place to relax together which is what you are supposed to be able to do on vacation. The parking was terrible but I guess that’s normal in that area. The WIFI and cell service is horrible so if your going there to do work plan on leaving to get signal. Looking out the bedroom window is a courtyard that is accessed only by the owners and is so heavily overgrown with vegetation you would not be able to walk back there, I can only imagine what might be living in there. In the listing the front of the rental has nice potted plants that are no longer there and have been replaced with dead bushes. I heard ladies walking by one morning and they actually stopped and said, “what a shame these are dead, and they are so close to a water spout I don’t understand.”A great thing I can say about this space is the location to the beaches. That was nice. The space is so cute and could be fantastic if it had a larger more comfortable couch. If your going to advertise the property with a queen size bed, then get one. Charming place. Perfect location. Wonderful Hosts. Communication with host was impeccable and easy. My wife and I spent a week here for some virtual meetings. It was the perfect place for us. We loved the location with quick access to the beach on breaks from our meetings. We were able to get some great cycling in from the place in our off time as well. We will definitely be back.

My girlfriend and I stayed here, we really enjoyed it. The place was super clean and cozy. Check in and communication with owner was easy. Loved how it was so close to the beach and bay! Could come and go as we please no problem. Would definitely stay here again, we had a blast!

The service wasn’t the best but the property was beautiful. Was only a walk down from the beach & quiet neighborhood. Very clean place and communication with the home owner was very easy and smooth. I would recommend.

If you're looking for a quiet getaway away from hustle and bustle. This bay retreat is just the place. Owner provides beach chairs so you can enjoy the bay or beachfront views. No TV so you can disconnect for a few days. Owners live up stairs and are always there if you need them.

My daughter and I needed a place to stay as we checked out college campuses down in SoCal. This place was perfect. It had everything we needed, and was super comfy. You could walk out the door and if you walked a few blocks one way you could relax on the beach, and if you walked a block over the other way, there's the bay and you can sit on the berm and watch the sunset with the locals. There is also a cute little cafe and a little store/liquor store within walking distance. Across the bay is Naples, and you can enjoy gondola rides there. My daughter and I did not have time for it, but next time. We were a short driving distance to several shopping districts like Retro Row and Belmont Shore, where we discovered amazing stores and restaurants. CSULB is only about 10 minutes away, and then everything else in LA you gotta get on the freeway for :), but it was great to come back to our cozy little getaway. In regards to parking, it's street parking but we had zero problems finding a spot, and I usually was able to nab one right in front or near the apartment. Our host, M, was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay and will hopefully be able to enjoy it again soon.

I stayed at this property for 7 nights. This property is in a wonderful location, but no comfortable place to sit! The loveseat was the only place to sit other than the dining room chairs, and it was uncomfortable. If you like to curl up in a comfortable chair or sofa to read or chat, this is not the place for you. The floor of the apartment is brick, which looks great, but the hard, uneven surface was murder on my back. If you plan to cook while visiting, look elsewhere. The kitchen was understocked with only 2 dinner plates, 2 cereal bowls, 2 forks, 2 knives, I large spoon and no teaspoons. I did have paper towels, but no dishtowels, and only 1 potholder, which was tricky when I used a two handled pot to cook dinner one night. The shower is small, and awkward to move in. No washcloths were provided, and I was given only I hand towel. Luckily I have family in Long Beach, so I borrowed some washcloths, a dishtowel, and got plastic silverware from my sister. I was asked to sign a 7 page standard rental agreement, which I have never encountered before, and I stay at vacation rentals almost exclusively when I travel, both domestically and internationally. I wasn't comfortable signing the rental agreement, so they modified one for me that I did sign. Also, after seven nights I missed the TV. There are many vacation rentals in the same area. I will be be looking for a more comfortable place to stay next time.

Excellent location and well appointed home for a secluded getaway. My husband and I were greeted warmly and had a fabulous staycation. Steps to the Ocean for sunset or steps to the bay with coffee at sunrise. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful area, great host & amazing home. Loved the fluffy towels and pristine home. Location can't be beat. Serene walks along the beach, gorgeous sunsets and amazing swimming in the bay. Convenient walks to all that LB has to offer. Can't wait to come back!!!

Great location, this was a last minute booking (obviously) and I was pleasantly surprised by the well-appointed space and thoughtfulness in the details: coffee maker, beach chairs and towels. Street parking is tight, but that is to be expected anywhere near a beach in the summer. However, I have never felt so unwelcome in a rental. My cousins, who I haven’t seen for some time because of COVID-19 and SIP, checked-in on me daily to make sure I was okay after the death of my father, meanwhile, I was getting messages from the property manager warning me about visitors. I left a day early, rather than continue to deal with the hostility of being watched and monitored. I would rather stay on a couch than feel like I am being constantly scrutinized for being human. I grew up on the beach and had hoped it would bring me peace once again.

A very comfortable, clean and cozy place with lots of windows and sea breeze. Enjoyed the bay for hanging out and swimming, and particularly enjoyed watching the sunrise over the bay. Then there's the ocean just across the street for sunset and watching the windsurfers. Very relaxing and I definitely would book again.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy beach cottage. It is one block from the beach, great location. Very clean, equipped with all that is needed including a very comfortable bed, and I especially loved the fireplace. The host was also very nice and accommodating. We will definitely stay again!
