Profitez de l'appartement de 3 chambres à l'étage de cette maison historique située à seulement 2 pâtés de maisons au nord du nouveau Santa Fe Plaza, de Santa Fe Way et de Depot. Idéalement situé à quelques minutes de tout ce que Temple, Belton, Salado et Waco ont à offrir.
La maison historique du centre-ville comprend un appartement à l’étage avec une ½ cuisine, un salon, 3 chambres à coucher et une salle de bain complète - le tout constituant une superficie de 1500 pieds carrés. Deux grands lits et un grand lit peuvent accueillir six personnes. Ajoutez une personne supplémentaire avec le canapé futon qui fait également office de dormeur. It was a wonderful stay & experience! Susan & her friend, Jack who also assisted are delightful! The work she put into this beautiful historic home is wonderful and it is so nice having her art studio on the bottom level. We felt so at home and so appreciate Susan sharing her home & making it feel like a home away from home. Jack was very helpful to making himself available too, if/as needed. Hope to be back for another stay. Stop by for a visit and see Susan's great work & beautiful home!

Wonderful!
Such a cute and historic house. Loved the way Susan refurbished this home. Every aspect was on point and enjoyable. We were fine without a stove since there was a microwave.
We could hear a traffic at night but it was tolerable.
Susan was very pleasant and even set up a table and left out brushes for us to do some painting. :)

Interesting Stay
The property was nothing like I imagined and that was because I did not read the listing well. Everything is as described, please read carefully!
The apartment (basically upstairs portion of an older home) only has a fridge/microwave/sink and table for 4. There is a coffee set up as well. I would say no more than 6 can sleep comfortably. I was the 7th and the futon was like a rock, we bought a blowup mattress for the second night. The area is near downtown and what sounds like a loading dock just behind the home. The host was easily accessible and quick to respond.
We traveled locally to see a pumpkin patch and meet up with familia. We were grateful for all the memories made and thought it was a good weekend overall.

This is our second stay and the property is perfect and the host and accessible, accommodating and great to work with. Highly recommend.

Convenient Location
We needed to commute to Waco a couple of times and the location was great. As noted, the stairs are indeed both steep and narrow, so we doubled up on caution. It’s definitely an older home; every step you take can be heard. I wouldn’t recommend for those who want to actually cook as the downstairs kitchen is through the gallery and seating is very limited. It’s a unique accommodation and we enjoyed viewing the art.

I loved the Sterle house! It was exactly what I wanted and expected. Enjoyed my weekend with the girls. Next time I will see if we can rent the Studio and have Susan give us an art class.

Art gallery home
The home was very clean and was a perfect fit for our family. It reminded me so much of my grandma’s house when I was a kid. Definitely enjoyed seeing Susan’s paintings as you enter through the gallery. Would definitely recommend this home.

This was the perfect place for a get-away. The home was very comfy and cozy. Susan is a great host and the little things in the home for you really makes it feel home-y. Absolutely lovely home and enjoyed the art gallery as well.

There are a few things I think need to be mentioned.
In the description she does mention the art studio on the first floor. So if she has a class going on there is not much privacy due to the open staircase up to the apartment. Also, there is a TV but no local channels just Roku.

Would love to stay here again. Susan is great. Love historic, old homes. Her place has a lot of character and an overall good energy. Felt so comfortable, and honestly, like at home. Highly recommend this place to stay!
