Breakfast wasn’t provided or offered. The room was spacious and at first glance appeared to be clean enough. I liked the bathroom and fittings, it all looked nice. The bed was huge and comfortable with clean bedding and pillows and the towels were soft. Toiletries are provided as are tea, coffee, sugar and milk. The Tv is modern and up to date and the room had good storage with all the furniture looking modern and well put together. There are usb charging points by the bed and bedside lights.

The TV for me felt too far from the bed, the channels on the tv were streaming channels and when I wanted to watch the news there was no bbc, itv, 4 or 5 or any other Freeview channels. I did discover after that the iPlayer and itv player were apps on there and as such you could use them to view normal tv. The walls in the room were white and quite grubby on closer inspection, covered in stains and what looked like spills down them etc. the bedside light had a mind of its own and went off and wouldn’t work for 15 minutes and this morning the bathroom light refused to work along with the bedside light again. I noticed too the bathroom ceiling was wet after rain in the night so maybe the roof has a leak? I also felt the toilet was too close to the wall and to sit on it meant sitting sideways. The sealant around the shower was grubby and the tray had dropped and was no longer sealed on the one end.

Travelled for some training at RMT so booked this place to stay as it's close by, it's Very comfortable, great value for money and the staff were extremely helpful. Walking distance to the local shopping centre. I had a great stay here and will definitely book again.

The shower cubicle is too small such that you don't have room to turn around without turning the shower tap

Friendly staff, plenty of parking and a recently refurbished room made for a good stay.

The hotel was in a good location and the owner was so helpful I would recommend the hotel to family and friends.
