The condo was ready and clean when we arrived. The location was nice as it was away from the hustle of downtown Gulf Shores.

The condo is very dated with furniture that wasn't terribly comfortable. I have used vacation rental sites for over 7 years, and this is the first time I've had to purchase my own kitchen towels to use to clean up after we made breakfast, wipe down the counters, etc. We bring our own beach gear, but this condo has nothing, so come prepared with an umbrella, towels, chairs, and coolers. This was our first trip to Gulf Shores, and we had no idea where anything was: beach access, excursions, sites to make sure you see, restaurants, grocery shopping, etc. Most homes have had a welcome packet with reminders, numbers in case of emergencies, restaurant menus (coupons to entice you in maybe?), and even a guest book to sign. Not this place, however. We showered, slept, and ate breakfast before we headed out for the day, so, ultimately, it was fine. Lots of areas to improve if they're interested, but we won't be returning.

TV to small, and way to high up on wall. No hairdryer for use, nor an iron for clothes. Furniture not comfortable, needs updating. Blinds (roll-up / down) cord was broken. Main bathroom need some remodeling & repairs.

Description was misleading. Looked like it was going to be on the beach but it wasn’t.

Very “local”. It felt like I was trying out a possible purchase. In other words, I could live in a place like that.
