The place perfect for our family to relax and enjoy DC and Arlington National Cemetery. We went for a funeral service at ANC and wanted a place for 10 of us to hang out together rather than be in separate hotel rooms and it fit the bill. Everything was as listed and the accommodations were fine.

we really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was close to everything we needed. The only issue we had was that the master bedroom shower leaked- but other than that everything was great.

We needed a place to stay in DC near the Convention Center. We were en route to NJ from OBX NC following a family vacation with grandkids and dogs. This house was perfect. Plenty of room for all , beautifully updated and maintained. Parking in back which fit our Chevy Suburban. If you need an extra parking space, the neighbor up the alley rents on on Spot Hero. Great hosts - highly recommend

We had a great stay at the property. The location made it easy and convenient to walk to bars and restaurants. Great gathering spaces and a comfortable environment made our stay wonderful!

Two families of 5 each stayed 4 nights very comfortably. House is in great shape and perfect location close to Metro and plenty of restaurants.

We came to stay the weekend at this beautiful home! Very nice and quiet neighborhood. It was close to a lot of restaurant and bars and surrounding areas were a quick uber ride away. All bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and just like the pictures. The host was responsive and very accommodating! Overall no complaints and had a great stay!

The house was very comfortable and in a great location. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive.

Wonderful quirky home. Happily mixed neighborhood, Howard and Cardoza nearby, a Samaritan Inn next door, lovely gardens on the street. We walked to Le Diplomate bistro, had one of the best meals ever. House kitchen was well equipped, beds were very comfortable, bathrooms were dated but perfectly functional, nice living room for lounging, (but no cable TV), rooms were mostly very light, heating and A/C worked well, funky back porch for morning coffee. The two front bedrooms are large and inviting, the others smaller but decorated in a quirky, homey way. Lots of towels. One crucial parking spot. Only negatives were lack of in home laundry facilities, and no free drawer space in the bedrooms, though lots of hangers provided.The stairs were, of course, a challenge with luggage, but all in all we had a great time.

Or family gathered from across the country and enjoyed our time in Columbia Heights. We appreciated being close to public transportation & good restaurants, and having plenty of comfortable air-conditioned space to spend time together. Thank you to Paul, Kath, and Violet.

Instead of going the traditional and impersonal ‘block of rooms at a hotel’ route, we opted to rent a large house. This place was just perfect. Not only did people have ample room to spread out, the property is in a great location and is has a warm and welcoming charm. We are very glad we chose this home for our celebration weekend. We were all able to feel like a family at home while away from home. Thank you, hosts! Above this, the owners allowed early access to our guests whose long flights brought them to DC well before the check-in time. This was incredibly helpful and gracious. Owners were practically on-the-spot responsive to any inquires leading up to and during our stay. Additionally, they politely checked in with us during our stay (remotely) to ensure everything was going ok. We give this property and the homeowners two big thumbs up and would recommend this home to others without hesitation.

The house is spacious, well-appointed, comfortable and clean. Our family met in DC for a week from various points, and the house was perfect for our purposes. Paul was very responsive, helpful, and generous, and the house was one of the best properties I’ve ever rented.

Our extended family spent a weekend in this large, comfortable, beautiful old house on the occasion of our son's wedding. We had family arriving from three states, and Paul and Kathleen quickly changed their schedule to accommodate our group of ten people. The house was spacious and provided a comfortable living room for relaxing and a dining room large enough for all of us to gather around the table. Two of the bedrooms were exceptionally roomy and easily accommodated the bridal party when the house became a wedding staging center. We had a parade of photographers, make-up artists, and hair stylists, and all of them had room to work. Everyone loved the house, and it was the perfect venue for wedding planning. There were enough bathrooms for the crowd and well-stocked linen closets on three floors. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was large and well appointed for a group. The house is close a vibrant neighborhood of restaurants and shops, but the street was quiet and peaceful. Our hosts were responsive and helpful about problems. We would recommend this house to anyone and truly enjoyed our stay. Our thanks to Paul and Kathleen for their responsiveness and their outstanding hospitality.

We loved the house. It had great character and charm. It was a great space for our family get together. The three levels allowed people with different sleeping habits to do what they liked without disturbing others. It was very comfortable. Everyone could eat together in the dining room. Paul and Kathleen were great hosts. I would highly recommend staying here.

8 adults and 2 kids with space for all of us. Sleeping arrangements particularly good that allowed early risers and late sleepers to coexist without squable. Dining room sized so we readily had all 8 + 2 high chairs up to the table. Easy walk from the Metro yellow we took straight from DCA. One more seating surface in the living area would have been nice. Everybody voted 5-stars

We had a fun family gathering for a birthday weekend in DC. This is a comfortable and cozy home with everything we needed in a very convenient location. I would definitely book it again.
