We loved the breakfast and cocktails at Luna bar. Room was very well appointed

There was only a doona on the bed- no top sheet The hallways on our floor had a horrible methane odour most days.

The Crowne Plaza Adelaide was clean & comfortable . Our room was located on the top floor , level 20 with views towards the Adelaide Hills . This provided an excellent way to view the suburban areas of the city . The breakfast area located on level 10 was a little bit crowded at times , although the food on offer was very good .

The automatic coffee machine was good but the cups need to be pre heated so that a hot coffee is received . Coffee was only just warm , & not hot enough , a small matter .

Large room with all of the necessities for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, roomy and warm. Easy walks to Rundall Mall and the Botanic Gardens.

The Reception area is not on the ground floor, but luggage storage is - however there was no obvious signage to indicate this. Airconditioning was constantly on, but the noise of the airflow could not be turned down so ear plugs were needed in order to sleep - temperature was adjustable though. Bathroom tiles were very slippery when wet.

The bed mattress should be firm and not soft - like orthopedic type. Remember there are guests who are elderly, and many may have back problems. Early check-in , if possible like arrival around 12 noon but before 3 pm, IF rooms are available. The charge for early check-in of A$60 is not welcoming. However, the Conceige service is great. It took our luggages, tagged and store them. It then delivered the luggages to the assigned room when we returned slightly before 3 pm. We did not expect such service. But it made our check-in forgot about the "early check-in" charge.

Fantastic stay! Beautiful clean and modern room, breakfast included was a bonus and it was an amazing variety of food … would highly recommend! Was there for a conference at the convention centre which was an easy 15 min walk or a fast tram ride with the free tram not far from the hotel.

Everything was fab! Gorgeous rooms and very clean. Awesome coffee pod machine in room. Level 10 where the bar is situated is amazing, you can have a relaxing drink or meal and take a seat for lovely views.

The comfiest bed we've ever had at a hotel with a beautiful sunrise view of the Adelaide Hills right out our window. We would definitely stay there again!

The location was good but that’s probably the only good part we experienced

We didn’t like the fact that we didn’t get the room we ordered. And then we’re charged an extra $150 to have a trundle bed placed in our room. This all happened at 11pm when we arrived, very tired after a long day traveling. The hotel’s mistake cost us money and the lady on reception insisted we pay it. Not happy.

On the first night my wife took a shower with the provided shower gel. Unbeknownst to us at the time this contained kiwi seed oil, which my wife is very allergic to. Luckily we had her medication with us, but we called down to reception to see if they could provide us with an alternative soap or shower gel (as everything in the room had kiwi in it) so she could wash and try and reduce the reaction, as it was the Sunday before a public holiday most stores were closed so we had few options. We were told that they didn’t carry any other soaps or shower gels. After being told my wife would have to go without soap I asked if there were any stores nearby still open. We were informed of several stores we could try (which were closed) which made it a very painful first night for my wife. Kiwi is an increasingly common allergen and the fact that not only is this their shower gel and hand wash of choice, but also the only option is appalling. My wife was lucky she noticed quickly and we were prepared as she has been hospitalised with this allergy in the past. The second night we were on a tour most of the day so came back and ordered room service. After waiting an hour my food arrived stone cold. We called in room dining, but they kept hanging up on us. We called reception and they eventually got a replacement meal sent up. Other than these issues the only other negatives I would say is the shower is very noisy and under powered and the bedding was scratching and had black marks on it throughout our stay (which makes me wonder if it was cleaned at all).

We had the most fabulous stay at the Crowne Plaza. The staff were so friendly and the amenities were top notch.

The pool was excellent, the views were beautiful. The bar was great.the room was very clean.

The buffet breakfast food was cold and over cooked lots of the food was dry and stale. The layout was not great, having to wall all the way across to the other side of the restaurant to get bread and make toast was not practical at all.
