Only issue I had that my room was beneath the breakfast/reception area so I got woken up when staff would be preparing breakfast.

Lovely little hotel with an awesome breakfast (fresh fruits and egg meals to order), great location in sea point in walking distance to the sea and nice restaurants, safe neighborhood to walk around, super stylish and cosy interior, very attentive and friendly staff, free parking, very clean, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Perfect location for a city stay, as long as you don’t expect a beach holiday. Would definitely go there again!

Such a beautiful boutique hotel set so conveniently in Sea Point. The decor, look and feel of Pineapple House is so thoughtfully put together and gently luxurious. We loved the attention to detail and the spaciousness of our room. Wonderful fragrance of their bespoke amenities with their quirkily labelled generous bottles were just one of the lovely surprises we kept discovering throughout our stay. Most comfortable bed so beautifully styled, so much cupboard space and a wonderfully spacious bathroom with a bath and double shower. We loved the thought provoking art and obje displayed all around the hotel and the clever and super comfortable layering of the interiors. Team of staff were absolutely wonderful and ensured that everything was perfect and peaceful for our stay. Easy check in, delicious breakfast displayed every morning in the pretty dining area with a huge choice of both what we wanted to choose and have cooked for us. We had secured parking at the hotel. Highly recommend this little gem and will be sure to be back.

We really enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Pineapple House. We stayed here for 5 nights and would have stayed even longer. The hotel itself is just beautiful. We were lucky to be upgraded to a spacious room with a private terrace with views of Lions Head and Table Mountain.
The service was outstanding. Everyone was so lovely and we enjoyed chatting with the staff.
Breakfast was great as well with a mix of cold and hot dishes. Everything was freshly prepared and very tasty.
I can’t recommend this place enough.

Extremely comfortable beds and overall lovely rooms - we went for a superior double and everything was perfect. The staff were brilliant and were always on hand to help us with recommendations, luggage etc. The decor and style of the hotel is wonderful - this is basically 2 large houses converted into a hotel with really fun interiors - the owners have really paid attention to detail with the design and you genuinely you feel like you’re in something luxurious. Location was also good in terms of getting to some nice local coffee and breakfast places, other attractions such as Kloof Street, Waterfront etc are less than a 10 minute uber away and we never had issues getting to or from anywhere. The hotel was also really secure with gated entry so we never once felt unsafe!
No major dislikes - our room and stay was perfect :-)
This hotel isn’t super close (walking distance) to certain tourist points like Kloof Street but it was never an issue to get ubers!

Zuerst sehr kleines Dachzimmer, freundlicherweise dann umgezogen, ohne Schräge Wänder war es deutlich geräumiger. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, aber mit 1,30 m sehr schmal zu zweit.

Wat een parel dit hotel!! Niet alleen het interieur (alsof je continu in een styling tijdschrift rondloopt), maar ook de vriendelijkheid van het personeel. Ik moest bijna huilen toen ik afscheid van ze nam. Wilde eigenlijk niet weg.
Nog nooit zoveel gastvrijheid meegemaakt in een hotel!
Ook het ontbijt is iets om je iedere ochtend op te verheugen!
En als je tussendoor nog koffie of thee of koud sparkling water wilde, dan kon dat altijd.
De kamers zijn ook super stylish en comfortabel.
Als ik een 12 zou kunnen geven, zou ik dat zeker doen!

What an amazing place. Beautifully converted townhouse tucked away at Sea Point, 2 mins walk from the seafront promenade. Funky, artistic and stylish decoration made it feel unique and special. Spotlessly clean with the friendliest and most helpful staff I have experienced in South Africa. Was a genuine joy to stay at Pineapple House.

The hotel looks beautiful and is decorated lovely. The staff is very good and the breakfast is great.
The building is quite noisy, with thin floors. Next to that, there’s a big difference between a premier deluxe and a deluxe. The premier deluxe is a big room with a balcony while the deluxe room feels more like a small standard room, placed downstairs. Also the deluxe room has a bathroom window with a small cover. It feels uncomfortable that one can see through the glass while you’re taking a shower.

The hotel is beautifully decorated. The staff are brilliant - great breakfast service and the self service honesty bar was fun. Lots of places to sit and chill out at. Bed was comfy.
The room we booked was a lot smaller than what had been shown in the pictures, which was a bit disappointing. It also had a smaller balcony with no seats.

The property is located in the heart of Seapoint with an easy walking distance to cafés, shops and restaurants. The house is super charming with lots of love for details. You kind of feel like coming home when entering. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly and always willing to help and support. We weren‘t too happy with the initial room given to us, whereupon quite an effort was made to offer us a different room we were more satisfied with. They definitely try to put guests in the center of attention and want to make everything possible.
I highly recommend everyone interested in the property not to book via booking.com but rather via their own website. Reason for this is that every single room is different in size, shape and design and you can choose the one that resonates best with you via their own website. There can be quite some differences within one category and choosing a specific room from their website will definitely ensure you‘ll be happy with your stay. Please also take into account that there are two parts to the hotel - one that is slightly more new and has a pool area with actual sunbeds.

The pinapple house is absolutely beautiful! I loved everything about the design. The area is nice because it’s close to many restaurants, but still in a very quiet street. We loved the terrace and the free standing bath. The staff was very kind and we loved the atmosphere during breakfast and that they prepared fresh fruit salad for us.
Considering that this was the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our trip in the western cape, I would have expected a little bit more – we were on our honeymoon and it would have been nice to have had a little extra touch to make us feel special.

The hotel and rooms were decorated beautifully with no detail spared. The beds are comfy and overall very modern fittings. The staff were friendly and helpful, their breakfast was perfect. The two pools are great if you want some quiet sun, or the get out the wind. A great location in Seapoint for any social activities too.
The downstairs room was not as quiet as expected being adjacent to the dining area, but this did not affect our stay.

Location is perfect, central and within walking distance to the Promenade, Seapoint main road and great if you want to take a walk to Clifton, camps bay etc. we had an amazing breakfast each morning , staff were incredibly hospitable & helpful. The rooms are spacious and modern, beautifully decorated with a Smart tv and fast wifi. This is a gem that is value for money, & exceeded my expectations. We Will definitely be coming back here.

The house and the rooms were just gorgeous, beautiful art work everywhere. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was super kind and helpful. We had a fantastic patio with a view of the mountains. The location is great, nice and quiet but you can walk to stores, Mojo market etc.

Small boutique hotel with a home feeling and access to kitchen and livingroom. Very friendly staff. Common areas are nice and feel like you live in a private home. Breakfast is good and made to order. Room was nice and comfortable. Location in Seapoint is good.
The premises are a bit cluttered for my taste. Small things everywhere. The bed and especially pillows and bedlinnen are not of high quality. For the price I would expect hotel grade level. Especially the pillows during my last stay were syntetic and of chockingly poor quality. The pool is not what it seems in the photos, its very small and possibly good for cooling down on a hot day. Its perhaps 2,5 in length. Breakfast lacked healthy options. Value for money is questionable.
