We had the pleasure of staying at the Caluga house in April. The hotel's location is very central, a 5-6 mins walk to the train station and a few mins walk to the beach. The hotel was very clean with an aesthetically pleasing environment and decor. The wifi works brilliantly. The room had a great view of the garden. The host was very hospitable and supportive, she even offered us fresh oranges from the garden. Overall, we felt great during our stay and we hope to come back to Caluga House again sometime in the future.

The rooms are in an old house, first floor, without elevator. There are not very well isolated and you can hear from one room to another.

We liked the entire villa and the gardens. Very quiet place, where you can enjoy the birds singing and the luxuriant garden. Alessandra was very helpful and responsive.

The sink drain was a bit clogged.

We like the environment, the unique house (like a museum) and decoration. very quiet and clean. The host is very nice.

We didn't find the location of the breakfast Bar since too far to take lots of luggage there. ( Because we don't want to back the room to pick the luggage for checking out)

Location within a garden was very intimate and relaxing. Great for a chill location to unwind and close enough to venture out to Sorrento for day trips.

The breakfast was a bit subpar, had to walk quite a ways for an ordinary coffee and pastry at an ok bakery.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Caluga House and would highly recommend this property to anyone. Alessandra could not have done more for us and nothing was ever a problem. First of all, she booked a taxi for us from the airport. Our late night flight was also delayed an hour and a half but she was so helpful with check in etc. As it was our first time in Piano de Sorrento, Alessandra was really helpful with suggestions for lovely restaurants and beach clubs in Piano and Sorrento. She even organised bookings for us which made our trip so easy and effortless! We were able to send her a WhatsApp message at anytime and she was always immediate and helpful with her responses to our queries. Caluga House itself is situated in a beautiful building and we felt very safe and secure there. It is in a good location in Piano - a 5 minute walk to the train station or a 10 minute walk to the marina. I could not recommend Alessandra enough. She made our short trip to Italy a really lovely one. Grazie mille Alessandra 🇮🇹

The place is quite amazing, the host deserves gratitude for perfect support. The room was clean, and so were the shared areas. The Italian breakfast (at a local cafe) is a bit far, but the stuff there was kind.

There is rather insufficient noise shielding between the rooms. However, fixing it might be technically quite challenging. Despite this small inconvenience, we liked the place a lot and might come back in the future.

Caluga House is a stunning, old building housing one level for B and B. It is charming. Absolutely spotless and so calm, quiet and relaxing after a long day exploring this amazing part of Italy. Nothing has been left out, there are so many extras including an amazing coffee machine, and always the most beautiful smell! What makes it that extra special, is the wonderful host, Alessandra. Nothing is too much trouble. She is always on hand or at the end of a text message with information and advice about places to go, how to get here, timetables, ferry times - everything. She is amazing, and a lovely person too! I feel we would be friends if we lived in Italy! She has helped make the last six days of our month long trip the best! Thank you so much.

- Very professional host who solved all our requests and made great recommendations. - Lovely premises, with a slight touch of decadence. - Details like a quality coffee machine and minifridge. - The location, out of the beaten path.

- The breakfast place was a bit too far from the hotel, but it is a nice walk.

A beautiful place between town centre and Marina, very near Piano Di Sorrento train station. Host Alessandra was lovely and so thoughtful and attentive. The freshly picked oranges and apricots were divine. Looking out over the garden was very peaceful and relaxing.

We loved the room! It was so cute and very comfortable, it for sure exceeded our expectations!

The location was a little hard to get to, but a train is available to get there from the center!

Incredible place and treatment is the best 👌 Alessandra is lovely person help us a lot and she gave many tips like local restaurants, supermarket and rental motorcycle. The hotel is near station. Everything it was perfect!

Amazing host, and a very cool place with a spectacular room. Probably the cleanest hotel room I've stayed in. Many complimentary things (e.g., coffee, water, breakfast etc) made the stay even better.

The kindness of the owner. We arrived and my husband was sick and she made him boiled rice for him to eat in his first night. Always at the end of the phone if we needed anything. Gorgeous rooms with such an eye to detail

The B&B is located in a centuries old palazzo surrounded by an old lemon tree garden. Rooms are large with high ceilings, very comfortable, and decorated with a passion for details. Alessandra is an incredibly friendly and assertive host. The breakfast was excellent with home made cakes, freshly made juice and fresh fruits. Thank you so much Alessandra, it was so nice to meet you! And thanks for your great tips and the nice conversation we had. We would love to come again and cannot recommend this B&B enough.

We had a wonderful stay at Caluga house in Piano de Sorrento (See the Harbour on two photos) Also our two kids enjoyed the stay as the place is very scenic in an old Villa surrounded by a wonderful garden. The breakfast was spectacular 😋Alessandra, the owner, was very supportive and let us stay a little longer during the day as our car needed repair. I highly recommend the Caluga House.

The Exceptional rating caught our eye with Caluga House, that and being based close to Villa Fondi (for a wedding we were attending). The second thing we liked the look of at Caluga House were the photographs showing the uniqueness of the property. But the experience of being looked after by a host who could not have been more helpful and went over and above what she needed to do to ensure we had everything we needed before, during and after our stay, is why we are giving our Exceptional rating to this Beautiful guest house. If there were a higher rating, it would be an Exceptional +++ We received a most warm welcome, a beautiful breakfast, an immaculate and spotless room, bathroom and breakfast room with fine detail, finishing touches and extras. We could not have expected or wished for more. We will return I hope one day soon. Thank you.
