As others have mentioned, parking can be a hassle. However, everything is so close that if you don't plan on leaving the area, it won't be an issue. Greg was more than accommodating on several occasions even ordering beach towels that were delivered the next day! The home is clean and well appointed. The addition of a washer/dryer was a plus for us as well. Other than groceries that you would want, absolutely EVERYTHING is there that you could possibly need. Don't hesitate on this one, it's an amazing home in an equally amazing part of Newport.

The property is as advertised. We were a group of 5 for a girls weekend and the home was perfect for us. Plenty of room, cozy, and amazing location. We parked the car and walked everywhere. Greg was very communicative and ensured we had everything we needed. The keypad lock was a little tricky but we always managed to get in. We all agreed we would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.

The location of this property is ideal - so perfect! Steps from the most popular dining, shopping, and socializing areas downtown but quiet enough to relax peacefully on site. The wharf and sailing are less than five minutes on foot. We walked to the Cliff Walk and enjoyed the beauty of the oceanside city. We also walked to convenient public parking garages to avoid driving during the weekend, but were able to find some street parking right outside for loading and unloading (and a lucky overnight spot!) Lyft/Uber easily picked us up for visits to the vineyard and more. Apartment has everything we needed - kitchen, living room, three bedrooms, three bathrooms (two showers). We would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a Newport experience and we would love to return. Thank you for hosting us!

This was our first time to Newport. We had our children (in their 20’s) with us and significant others. The property absolutely could not have been in a better location, it was charming, comfortable, clean, and Greg and Flavia were wonderful hosts. They were responsive and flexible as we were working with dates subject to change as our son was graduating from Officer Candidate School. We all had a wonderful stay creating great family memories and hope to visit Newport again. Would definitely stay here again.

We were there with a group of friends on 4th of July weekend and we could not have asked for a better house at an excellent location right in the middle of all downtown action but also quite at night. It was very clean, old house with lots of characters. Hosts were very nice people who took care of all our needs of asked. I would highly recommend to stay there.

This roomy and nicely furnished VRBO located in a convenient location with view of harbor. Great walking access to all of Newport shopping, dining and entertainment. The master bedroom on upper level is roomy with full bath and double sink vanity. Great for privacy. Living room, dining area and dining room provide seating for ten. Functional kitchen. Extra powder room is convenient. First floor with two more bedrooms and full bath is lovely with washer/dryer and access to private patio.

My husband and I and two other couples stayed here for our friends wedding weekend. It was perfect as it was within walking distance to everything and served as a good home base to go in between wedding activities. Greg was so sweet and welcoming and ensured we had everything we need to enjoy our stay. Very clean and well kept , would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing girls weekend in this beautiful home - amazing location. There was plenty of space for the three of us to have our own bedrooms. The first / main floor has so much space including a large bedroom with en suite bath. The lower lever has two additional bedrooms. Because one of them has the laundry in it this space has to list as a 2 bed but the two separate rooms are equal size. And the lower lever walks out to a pretty patio space. The location can’t be beat. The owners are amazing to work with. We had an awesome weekend and definitely recommend !

Rented the place for a girls weekend. From the get go, Flavia and Greg were quick to respond to all our questions and sent us a ton of information. The place is very cute and was in walking distance to everything. It was much larger than we expected. They had a ton of towels, blankets etc. readily available. Would definitely rent again.

Perfect location; excellent hosts; spacious and well appointed. Greg and Flavia were very responsive, and extremely accommodating. I'd agree with the comment that bedstand lamps would be a nice touch, as would boxes of tissues - pretty minor stuff! We'd stay here again.

This property is steps away from all the downtown wharfs with their restaurants and stores. The apartment itself is large and clean. It has upstairs and downstairs areas, each with bathrooms and bedrooms which is very versatile for a family or group. Window air conditioners help with summer heat. One thing that would be helpful are bedside and living room lamps to soften the overhead lighting. Everything else is great. Parking in the suggested lots is no problem, and you can unload your car in front of the property as it is on a quiet side street. Newport is one of our favorite places and this rental proved to be an excellent place in a wonderful spot!

I stayed with my sister and our 4 grown children. This home is even better in person than it shows on the site. The owners were gracious hosts. The house was comfortable and welcoming and in a perfect location. We can't wait to return.

This property was ideal. Decorated simply but very homey. Plenty of space for 4-6 people. Located less than 2 blocks from Thames Street & downtown area. Just know that parking is not included on this property and it can be a challenge to find parking. Kitchen is well stocked. LOVED this home and location!

This location was perfect for enjoying all that Newport has to offer. Restaurants, shops and the harbor views were steps away, and beaches are within a few miles. This lovely home is so convenient to all that Newport has to offer, while also being a spacious home-base during your stay. Greg & Flavia were great hosts. We look forward to staying here again.

We loved the location of this house: just steps away from Thames St. and almost as close to Bellevue yet the street itself is quiet. Also, the house is bigger than it looks it in the pictures (that is almost never the case) and it was really clean and comfortable. The owners checked in with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We appreciated their communication and were impressed with the amenities. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, house is really clean, spacious and has everything you would need. Nice courtyard to sit outside, beds were really comfortable. If this house is available, don’t hesitate in booking it, you won’t be disappointed!

We couldn't be happier with our choice to stay in this house! The location is absolutely perfect and within walking distance to a ton of great restaurants and shopping. The hosts were great and very communicative and provided some great tips for restaurants in the area. Looking forward to returning at some point in the future.

Hosts were fabulous - stayed with some friends to celebrate her 60th. Charming home - has everything you need - lovely private patio - huge master bathroom. This location could not be better - within steps to downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

The place was very clean , so roomy we had 6 people with us all over 21 and the bedrooms were perfect , plenty of bathrooms and plenty of space where you are not on top of each other, the outside is a perfect extra to enjoy a cocktail or bbq, we traveled in April so it was a little chilly but it would be great for summer, Flavia and Gregg were great hosts and getting in the home was so easy , they were very understanding when I had to postponed my dates! The location is perfect walking distance to so many restaurants and stores the only downfall is the parking , it’s hard to get spots but park and walk everywhere and Uber would be my suggestion! We had a great time and would go again

We had a great stay at this property, excellent prompt communication from the hosts and clean. The location is amazing - you can walk to Thames St, Bannister's Wharf, lots of shops and restaurants. You can easily get around without a car - we parked our car in a local lot and never moved it (this property doesn't have designated parking but it was easy to unload the car in front, and then we had absolutely no problem finding a close-by lot). They provide a very useful parking map to assist you. The house is incredibly well stocked with toiletries, cleaning supplies, coffee & creamer, basic spices, trash bags, etc. A full set of glasses/wine glasses/plates/mugs and wine opener (I have been in some airbnbs which didn't have one, can you believe?!). Also basic cooking pots/pans - although if you want something specialty like a baking pan for cookies I recommend bringing your own. The wifi was strong and they even had an extender - we had no issues even with 4 people and many devices, so I believe you could work from here. This home has awesome period charm like many of the homes built in the 1800s in this area (the decorative fireplace was gorgeous, and the entry stairs are narrow) but also has the modern amenities to make a traveler comfortable! Being able to pop out your door and be at the water with a coffee in hand in 3 minutes was fantastic! This property also would be excellent for 2 families/couples as the master and the other 2 bedrooms/full bath are on separate floors and offer privacy. We had a lovely stay at Flavia & Greg's home.
