Papakea Resort est vraiment l'esprit du Old Hawaii. Avec 11 immeubles de copropriétés de faible hauteur répartis sur 13 acres en bord de mer, le Papakea Resort est l'un des complexes de copropriétés les plus denses de l'île. Contrairement à de nombreuses autres stations de Maui, il est bien en retrait de la rue, mais est toujours commodément proche des épiceries et des restaurants. Un dépanneur, une épicerie à service complet, plusieurs cafés et plusieurs excellents restaurants décontractés sont tous accessibles à pied. Le lieu de shopping / restaurant haut de gamme du village de Whaler est à seulement 5 minutes en voiture, avec le charmant village de Lahaina encore 5-10 minutes plus loin sur la route. Overall our stay was amazing. The apartment was great, the stairs were a bit steep but the kids got used to it. The beds were very comfy (hubby wanted to take it home with us!!!). The location was fantastic. We saw a lot of turtles swimming past. It was a great base for road to Hana which was fun, Haleakala Observatory for sunset which was like you were on another planet. Close to Black Rock which our 5 yr old grandson snorkeled with some turtles. Overall we loved our stay at Papakea. Will definitely stay again.

We had 7 in our party, friends and family. The condo accommodated us perfectly plus also provided snorkel gear and just about anything else we needed. The view was amazing and the proximity to the water and beaches was perfect. Highly recommend!!

Overall, the location was nice in Kaanapali. The unit is older but spacious. There were nice accessories, such as towels and boogie boards, but they're very difficult in get to for use. In addition, the place has not been clean very well and there were cockroaches. I'm just being honest. Cleaning people were not doing a good job of getting the crumbs and the food from behind the refrigerator and the stove. The three separate air conditioners work very nicely. The balcony is nice. It's a great location with a great view at night time. It's just a little bit older and has a bug problem. I thought that the amenities such as soap and towels were minimal and not enough, given the fact that it's quite pricey. I expect a lot more amenities for the price. I will try some other listings in the future.

We had an amazing stay at this condo. Beach was just a hop, skip and a jump away. The facilities were beautiful and clean. The staff on the grounds were very friendly. We would love to go back and have another vacay where we would stay in the grounds more.

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was good sized for nine people. Fanastic view of the beautiful grounds, ocean and sunsets! We had an issue with the dishwasher but the owners were very responsive and had a new one installed the next day. Would absolutely stay here again!

Papakea is a great location and great amenities. The staff who work for the resort were lovely and helpful.
The condo could use some added amenities that we have come to expect from other rentals such as beach umbrella and a cooler would have been a great-to-have.
The kitchen is as very stocked on things like pots and pans yet there were only 4 plastic bowls and cheese grater was broken.
Some of the art is coming off the walls in the unit and the main bathtub needs some upkeep. The faucet is barely hanging on and bother the bath and shower we’re clogged.
These issues were minor- we loved the space and number of beds was great for our size of group. Thank you for a great overall stay!

Great property and location! This condo was perfect for our two families. It had everything we needed and we can't say enough about the view! It was so nice sitting out in the balcony overlooking the ocean and the palm trees. Check in/out process was super easy. Definitely recommend!

I can't say it enough, it was fantastic. We celebrated our 25th anniversary with our 5 children (ages 16-23), our sons significant other, my brother, sister in law and niece.
Everything about this condo was spot on. We had 11 people ranging from 16-53 and there was more than enough room. A great view, great amenities and the host was quick to answer and fix the one problem we had with a blow up air mattress.
The property was well maintained as were the grounds and pool.

We had a total of 11 in our group. Ages ranged from 9-80. The place fit like a glove. We had plenty of space. The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked a few meals inside and several at the pool side grill. The two pools are a very short walk. The beach is closer than it looks in the picture.

Papakea is a great place to chill and unwind. It is walkable to nice resorts bars and restaurants. The grounds are nice, the staff is attentive and it seems well taken care of. We went in March and could pull up a chair and watch humpbacks breaching a short way off the shoreline. It does not have a great beach but nice ones are very close and the pools are next to the ocean. The only way it would be better is if it would convert one of the two beach huts into a small place where you could get a snack or beverage

This was a great location for our family Christmas. We had plenty of room to gather for group meals and the location was lovely. The remodeled areas of the condo were very nice and the grounds at Papakea were well-kept. The owner was easy to communicate with and the staff at Papakea was friendly and helpful. We had only two minor complaints about the condo. First the bathrooms have only been partially renovated which means the shower areas are not in terrific shape. In addition the stairs to the loft are very steep so you would not want small children or older adults using that area. Otherwise, G403 was just what we were looking for!

My family loved staying here. The owner had excellent communication with me. My kids loved going to the pool. We barbequed steaks one night. The resort is about 19 minutes from Front St. where many restaurants are.
There are also food trucks within walking distance of the restort. We would definitely be happy to stay here again.

Relax and Enjoy the Ocean Breeze
The property is beautiful. This was my second time staying at Papakea, we like that it is smaller than the resorts down the street. Pool, BBq's and community areas are very well kept. Perfect sunset view from our lanai or from the grass areas along the ocean front. Condo had everything you needed. Plenty of beach towels. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Washer and dryer were great to have in the unit and worked well. We would stay in this unit again. If you wanted to swim, sit in the jacuzzi, put around the little golf course or play shuffle board you could do so just outside of your building. We arrived a little early and the front desk held everything until we could get into the unit so we were able to start our vacation as soon as we got there.

This condo is exactly as described. It’s in a perfect location, views from the balcony are spectacular, and our family of 10 had plenty of room and was very comfortable. I can’t think of a single negative thing regarding our stay in this condo. The check in was simple and the host was quick to respond to my questions prior to our arrival. Was very impressed with the property.Everything was great!! If I had to a negative thing, it would be more comfy seating instead of table and chairs. We had 7 in our party, and everybody wanted to sit on couch or recliner. But we had a great time. It was for my 60th birthday that was postponed. Would highly recommend!!!!!

Unforgettable Vacation!
This place was absolutlely amazing! Great layout for our party of 10 (2 families) as both sets of parents had a private bedroom and the 6 kids could sleep in the loft. Incredible views of the resort and ocean. Great amenities including shuffleboard, swimming, putting green, tennis, pickleball. Great location with walking distance to ABC Store, grocery market, food trucks, restaurants. Seriously we had so much fun! Can't wait to get back here.

The unit was amazinf. There was plenty of space for 5 adults and 3 kids to stay. The views of the ocean/whales every morning and evening and proximity to area amenities were definitely highlights!
Snorkel/beach equipment provided made us feel more "home" and our family vacation that much more special. The kitchen was well equipped to meet our needs for breakfasts/lunches and property grills were a nice place to for a nice family dinner!

Family friendly and beautiful
Our stay was so relaxing and enjoyable. The condo had so many things we needed to enjoy outdoor recreation. We had 9 adults and never felt crowded. We cooked breakfast every morning and used the BBQ most nights. The complex was always clean and there was staff every where you looked smiling and willing to help. The owner has compiled a binder with the most helpful information, from what was available in the condo and how to use everything to what beaches are good for each activity and where to eat and shop. This binder made us feel like we had been to Maui multiple times and it was our first trip to this Island. We will definitely plan on staying here again.

Excellent Stay in Paradise!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in late September with 6 adults, 2 Teenagers and a 7 year old. Fun for all ages! Love that the condo provided snorkel equipment, beach towels, beach chairs, some condiments and seasonings, washer/dryer and a binder full of tips (places, to visit, eat, swim etc). Great stay at Papakea!

Perfect for large Families!
Everything you can possibly need is in this house! Plenty of space, ocean, pool grill and super chill vibe here. Stairs up to the loft are pretty steep- the grandparents could not scale them but thankfully the sofa bed and a twin air mattress saved us. We will definitely be back!
