The option for heating the pool was fabulous! The owner thought of so many little extras that made the stay even better! Basket of fresh fruit and optional sweet treats upon arrival +items to make s’mores! So accommodating for small children with a baby monitor, pack n play,. Toy options for all ages! Beach chairs and toys! Beds were comfy. The owners seemed to think of everything, and were very responsive to all questions! Highly recommend!! Thank you!

Perfect location to hit both LA and San Diego attractions. Immediately found the house clean and well stocked for our week in California. Our 2 Kids enjoyed the pool. Hubby and I enjoyed the hot tub. Definitely recommend!

We came to enjoy the pool and Legoland. It was a beautiful home, clean, and well stocked with things your family might need while visiting. You could tell they really put thought and care into creating a great gettaway location for families. The jacuzzi heated up quickly and the pool was nice and warm the day we requested it be heated. If we ever go to Legoland again we know where to stay! ;)

This house was great for a family weekend, games, pool, hot tub and the owner communicated very well.

We stayed at the property for a mom and sister trip. We were a party of 5. The location was great snd the house was cb perfect. They have everything you could think of. We arrived to a clean smelling house and a wonderful fruit basket, candy, and s'mores makings waiting for us. Such a nice touch and we ate all the candy up. The pool was a little chilly but after a few you do get use to it and it felt good on hot days. The hot tub heats up very quick too. I would stay here again for sure.

This house was great for our Legoland vacation! It was only 15-20 minutes from the park, even during peak traffic times. The house has all kinds of toys and kids stuff, and the pool/hot tub is fantastic! Owners are very communicative and left us smores stuff and fruit on the counter for our stay. Highly recommend - 10/10!

This property was perfect for us and it has all the things you could possibly imagine, especially if you have younger travelers. The game room was a hit for our teens and the pool was perfect.

We absolutely loved the property, and the owner was great. We had communication to answer all our questions, and the home was an inviting atmosphere. We were welcomed by a fruit basket, s’mores, and candy do thoughtful. The pool toys were great for the grandchildren. Plan on terenting the home again next June if available.

We wanted a place that had amenities to keep the kids entertained because we wouldn’t be doing a lot of sightseeing, and this house was perfect! The host also reached out before we arrived to see if there was anything we might need. The house was clean and had more than we even realized we needed. It was perfect for us!

Clean, well-kept property with a great outdoor space as well as plenty of room for larger groups. We were in the area for a wedding and wanted a place nearby to relax and spend time with family. This place fit the bill perfectly, being close to Oceanside and Carlsbad beaches and activities, with a nice pool, hot tub, and outdoor area. The pictures are true and accurate, and if anything this place is bigger than you'd think from the outside. The only slight negative was that it backs up to College Blvd, so there is some traffic noise. They have plenty of what you need, including towels, beach chairs, and even have fresh fruit and s'mores fixings for you on check-in. The host is very communicative and quick to answer any questions. Everything was as expected and we'd definitely stay here again if in the area. Thanks Vi for a great time in Oceanside!

This was perfect for our family! We have a wide range of ages, so this was perfect for us. The kids loved the pool, and were splashing around many times in spite of the weather. The house is large enough that we didn't ever feel like we were stepping on each other, and there were provided toys and games that kept all the kids busy. The space to spread out was good to for trying to keep up with work some and for the kids to try to keep up on what school they could throughout the week. We were here for a wedding, and this was centrally located to have other traveling family stop in for wedding prep or a meal together. Also, the s'mores were a welcome added touch and we roasted them all over the firepit!

This is the perfect property for families with kids who are in town to visit Legoland. Also great for anyone who has other reasons to visit the area and just wants a super family-friendly place to stay. My kids were so excited at every new discovery in the house - from the bunk beds to the toys, books, games, giant connect-4, ping-pong, shuffle board, darts, pool, hot tub, and loads of pool toys. And I was so appreciative that the pool could be heated - totally worth it for me, a cold-water-wimp! The host was super responsive to my messages and very flexible about a slight shift in our plans. We were also delighted to find some goodies waiting for us when we arrived, including a bunch of fruit and s'mores makings. We didn't explore the surrounding area much and mostly just saw chain stores/restaurants as we drove through - but for the purposes of our trip that was fine. We did hit up a mom & pop place we really liked - had a good brunch there and it was kid-friendly too (Village Kitchen & Pie Shoppe, if that's helpful to anyone). Would definitely stay here again, and will absolutely recommend to any friends who visit the area. Thanks again, Vi!

Great property with everything you need!!

This property was a nice getaway for our family, loved the house itself & pool & loved all the little treats the owners left for us. The only complaint we had was how bad the mosquitos were in the house! Everyone was getting eaten alive!! It was hard just to sit in the living room to watch TV cause they were so bad since that was the only room with a TV besides the one downstairs bedroom. The game room was nice for entertainment! I just wish it was closer to the ocean.

Great stay

Excellent host. Vi was quick to respond when we had questions about the house. Check-in was easy and there was a huge bowl of fresh fruit and ingredients for s’mores waiting for us in the kitchen. This rental is amazing for kids. There are tons of toys and books. A really cool game room in the garage and tons of pool toys, life jackets, etc. Having the pool and the hot tub in the backyard was amazing. We payed extra to have the pool heated which was great on cooler days. Location is great. It’s a quick, easy drive to Legoland, beaches and also an easy drive to the San Diego Safari Park. We had a great trip and would definitely stay again.

This was a great family friendly place to stay! Lots of kid toys and activities! Pool was a definite favorite! Kitchen fully stocked. Close to Carlsbad and Oceanside is great too! Welcomed with fresh fruit, candy and stuff for smores!

We all enjoyed our stay and made some wonderful memories! We were impressed with all the amenities that were included. It was a great fit for our family. I also appreciated how attentive the host was during our stay.

We had the most wonderful stay and the house was perfect for our needs, from the heated pool, kids toys, fresh fruit and s’mores left out for us, it was more than we could have hoped for. Communication was amazing and Vi was so accommodating. I can only hope to book again soon.

The house was spacious with plenty of options for sleeping arrangements. The garage space was fun for everyone. The pool, spa, and grill were great! The fruit and waters upon arrival was a pleasant surprise! House was also very clean.

Enjoyed the convenient location (close to lego land, safari park, beach, grocery shops, restaurants). Host was kind and thought of everything- from welcome basket with fruit, water, and s'mores kit. We loved the heated pool and hot tub. Thank you!

The house was extremely clean and stocked with lots of extras. The pool was amazing and made for great lazy days. Within 15 minutes to several beaches, malls and restaurants. Vi left fresh fruit and water in the fridge...so thoughtful. Our kids have declared that we must stay here again!

Everything about this house and our stay was wonderful! The very thoughtful touches set up for our arrival (bottled water and fresh fruit) made for a lovely welcome, and over the course of our week we used every amenity the house offered. Our kids swam in the pool daily and enjoyed all the outdoor toys and floaties. We BBQ'd, we made s'mores over the outdoor fire pit, and the game room in the garage was the scene of many foosball and ping pong competitions between adults and kids alike. Not only was the house spacious, comfortable, and truly relaxing, it was also very conveniently located to lots of towns (and food, breweries, beaches) in the area. When we ventured out of the house, it never took more than 15 minutes or so to go wherever we were headed between Vista, Carlsbad, the beach, and we even made it to Encinitas for dinner one night and a walk at Moonlight Beach. This felt like the first true vacation our family has had in many years, and the location and comfort of this property were the major reason why. Thank you for giving us a home away from home. :)

We had such a great time! The house was great, I have stayed at plenty of VRBO locations, this was the best well stocked location. All the soaps, supplies, pool toys, just vey relaxing and comfortable. We had several members from all over the country and all said it was wonderful and had a great time. Also the welcome arrangement of fresh fruit, candy and other supplies was over the top. Communications with the owner was fast. We have family close by, next time we are in town we would stay there.
