The location is great. Amenities all around you. Walking distance to the beach.

The other guests were loud and did not adhere to rules, and this is my second stay at Ocean Villa. The unit needs maintenance. Bathtub cold water tap was faulty, and the water pressure was low as a result. I had my children with me and elderly parents and this made bathing very annoying and time-consuming. Towels smelt musty as well as the pillows and cushions. Bathrooms were not cleaned well despite being advised otherwise. The ironing board was burnt. It was reported that the downstairs toilet was leaking, the drain in the shower was blocked, and the sliding door was jammed, and these were 3 things were addressed the next day. However, it should not be for the customer to complain and then only have these things addressed. It's a great location, and the venue has a lot going for it. However, better enforcement of rules is required and basic maintenance. Inspect the units. We enjoyed our first stay and left feeling disappointed with our accommodation this time around.

Pool was in a poor state, we couldn’t swim. Needs an upgrade. Watershedding and loadshedding was painful. No inverter or drinking water. Had to use one towel for 3 days. More should be available. The 25 litre containers of water were difficult to handle, no taps Wifi didn’t work Staircase very grubby, needs revamp

There was no water, they had to bring us buckets of them. It was hard to cook and shower.. the cell phone number at the reception is useless, no one picks up

if the place had AC besides the ceiling fans that was there. it was a bit cramped, and the helpers only made beds and didn't clean up the dishes as she said that not what she must do.

What one liked about the place is the closeness of it with the beach and the only good thing about the place is the cleaning stuff and the lady ''security working at the gate wow they so welcoming and friendly too.

We didn't like how the manager Eugene Catherine of Holsboer vacations treat people especially black people so rude, the manner of disrespect he has is out of this world more especially to some of our family members. I believe when working with people you need to be welcoming and friendly towards your costumers. it's really good to state your rules very clear to your costumers before they settle in your premises. the venue was nothing we saw on the internet, the rooms Infront the gate seems so nice, but reserved for white people but the back one yooh very messy and black people meant to occupy them as they are next to unfinished constriction side. The outside area was dirty. The garage doors were open throughout our stay and more dirty old things were espoused.

We booked Ocean villa resort for our family vacation from the 8th - 11th of January 2024. When we arrived at the venue to our surprise the rooms looked like nothing we saw on their website. The furniture was very old and ugly the rooms had a damp smell. The outside area was also dirty. The garage doors were opened throughout our stay and the inside was filled with old, dirty things, it was not a pleasing sight . To top it all their facility manager named Eugene Catherine was rude and disrespectful to some of our family members, he found them in the pool area on our last night and instead of asking them politely to leave as it was already late he spoke to them in a demeaning and disrespectful tone.

Apartment was dusty with fans making the dust even worse. We had to leave the property within 2 hours and were never offered any alternative. We were itching and had to leave and find an alternative on our own.

The property was clean and it was well located, just a walk away from malls, the beach and restaurants.

The gas did braai did not work, the cleaning lady is was not very friendly on the day she came to clean and the check out time was quite early and this was not communicated in the property house rules.

The facility was the highlight of our trip. The kids loved it, and we felt right at home. Very spacious and clean.

The one bathroom didn't have a glass by the shower so water would spread on the bathroom floor. But it wasn't uncomfortable.

The place had a musty smell ,especially in the bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms The was mold on the shower walls ,floor and roof. We had to buy cleaning disinfectant spray to clean the shower and bathrooms before we can use them. The bathrooms, bathtub, shower, need a complete revamp. They do not provide housekeeping on Sundays and public holidays, which I think should be highlighted on their site. We stayed for 4nights without housekeeping, 2 towels per room.We requested the housekeeping services at our own expense to make our stay more comfortable and it was rudely declined. We were told that housekeeping staff were enjoying Christmas with their family.We stayed from the 23rd to the 27th and I believe they could have provided one on other days excluding Christmas.

I honestly didn't like. The fact that before we could exit the property other. Guest were rooming around the rooms because they were told that they will use the room once we vacate, , mind you we could have lost our items because we didn't know those people

Neat 3 bedroom apartment located close to the beach and all amenities

Bathrooms weren’t very clean and can do with an upgrade. Only one shower for a three bedroom apartment. Check in time is at 2 pm but check out time is at 9:30 am which is early and seems unfair to the guest. The lady in charge of the apartment is rude and doesn’t know how to speak to her guests.

The location is perfect, staff they very friendly... They make you fill at home. Even when you need help they help you with a smile.
