What a gem in Alnwick! The room was lovely and comfortable with coffee and tea for use, and a towel warming rack. Audrey and Tom are personal, warm and caring hosts. The breakfast was exceptionally good.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel which was conveniently situated in a quiet area but very close to the town centre.. The owner was very helpful and friendly and her son cooked the most delicious breakfasts. We had a very large, comfortable and well equipped room. We really appreciated all the extra thoughtful touches such as the provision of a fridge which all guests could use to store their own food and drink and complimentary sherry. We also appreciated the restaurant recommendations which were spot on.

Greycroft exceeded all my expectations. Audrey is an amazing host, all the extra touches they have make for a really comfortable stay. Nothing is too much trouble. The property is in a great location within walking distance of the town and attractions. Breakfast is fantastic, so much choice and always cooked to perfection. You aremade towel really welcome. I would not hesitate to recommend this guest house. It is the best I have ever stayed in.

It’s a beautiful building in a great location. The rooms and big and airy, and the garden is spectacular. You feel very well looked after at Greycroft.

The bathroom was narrow and I burnt myself on the towel rail almost every time I went in there.

Audrey’s welcome was lovely. A beautiful home with excellent, comfortable rooms, wonderful service and outstanding breakfasts. Audrey was a perfect host with lots of recommendations for excellent places to eat and to visit in Alnwick and the local area. Everything has been thought about and available in your bedroom. A five star service provided would throughly recommend. Thank you.

Audrey is an exceptional host and was absolutely perfect in the way she attended to our requirements. She was very engaging and a joy to speak with. The breakfasts ( varied choices) were freshly cooked to order and plentiful Absolutely spotless throughout, comfy bed and powerful shower and plenty of storage space The owner Audrey gave a friendly greeting and was extremely cheerful and informative about the area The location was A1 with a five minute ( if that) stroll to the town centre with reserved car parking directly outside We would absolutely recommend Greycroft to anyone visiting Alnwick

We had a very warm welcome, the room and breakfast were excellent and location perfect just a short walk to the centre.

The welcome I received was lovely and comprehensive. Bedroom excellent. Breakfast and breakfast room very well done. Garden area, guest lounge and complimentary drinks all added to relaxation

It truly exceeded our expectation. We were made most welcome from the start. The house was very comfortable and full of high quality furniture and ornaments, and objects of interest, even old family photos. The double room was large, carpetted with adjacent shower and toilet facilities and immaculately clean. Tea and biscuits were provided in the room. The breakfasts were of high quality and very substantial. There was even bottles of complimentary wine for guests to take a glass full if the wished at night. The re was also a nice garden to sit in. We have no hesitation in recommending it to friends.

As far as we were concerned there was nothing negative about it.

Central location, close to Alnwick Gardens and Castle and a short drive from neighbouring towns. Beautiful walks all around Alnwick. We arrived early and were allowed to park outside whilst we explored our surroundings. We received a warm welcome from Audrey and Tom’s breakfasts are amazing. Lovely clean room with refreshments and friendly staff. Thank you for an enjoyable stay
