The property was clean and well stocked for our quick family holiday trip. Simón was very communicative and replied soon after I texted him. The only issue was with the WiFi. We couldn’t figure out if it was something we were doing wrong or something was wrong with the WiFi extender.

My kids and had lots of fun and enjoyed the stay here. The manager with us when we needed something. I highly recommend this rental. It was clean and close to a lot of stores. Thank you for having us.

Due to family ER we booked night before travel. Simon could have declined reservation but did not & rushed to get our unit ready in prep for our arrival. Unit clean, Secure wifi, very quiet. Great for working remote. BRs could use update but clean. Simon even provided pastry from local bakery as welcome gift.

Manager was very helpful. Property was clean.

Booked this (and paid for) on Weds the 9th. Did not receive any confirmation from the owner. So on Fri AM my partner and I headed down there from San Antonio (4hr drive). Sent a text to the owner via VrBo notifying them of our ETA....no response. Upon locating the dwelling we were NOT impressed!!! It was a quadplex!!! Note to self: ALWAYS LOOK FOR EXTERIOR PICS!!! So again we sent the owner a text via VrBo letting them know we arrived....no response! So after about 30mins of waiting we called the owner and left a message. Several more minutes went by so we called VrBo support and explained the situation to them. They were clueless as to what was going on so they put me on hold to contact the owner. As we were on hold the owner called us and said the room was double booked by mistake!! Simon (the owner) didnt sound very sympathetic to our dilemma and just said all he could do was refund me my payment. So about 15 mins after talking to Simon, VrBo support came back online saying the unit had been already occupied. So they offerred to put us up in a hotel for the night. "One night? I need a place for the weekend. We should not be inconvenienced to have to look for a 2nd night's stay because someone on YOUR END screwed up!" She said the best they could do was pay for the 1st night. OK fine....we chose a hotel closer to the venue we were in town for. But if you think the drama is over....you are sadly mistaken!! So we get to the Hampton Inn and proceed to check in. We asked the deskclerk, Kevin, if we could rent the room for the 2nd night at a military rate. He said sure...so we went thru the procedure, but just right after I went to make a payment Kevin said it didnt go thru...but then it did. Ok fine. We didnt get into our room til 10pm. The next night we returned to our room for the 2nd night only to discover the room key didnt work. So I went back downstairs to the front desk to have them fix it. Kevin was on duty again that night and reset our card w/o any inclination that there was a problem. The next morning (during checkout) the drama REALLY BEGAN!!! Long story short....NO ONE TOLD US THE 2ND NIGHT WAS RESERVED BY VRBO AT THE FULL RATE!!! After an hour of standing at the front desk and having the 2 desk clerks sort it all out I ended up paying a compromising rate (higher than the military rate Kevin said we got, but less than the full night VrBo reserved it for). So; I WILL NEVER USE VRBO AGAIN AND I WILL NOT EVER COME BACK TO THIS RENTER!

Upon our arrival we were contacted and we were given an upgrade. I was very impressed with management in making sure we had everything we needed.

We only stayed a week, but the weather was great, the accommodations as expected and communication with the property manager excellent.

Good location attentive owner would stay again

The home was extremely clean! Simon was very attentive and responsive. I was a little concerned that I could not get the information to check in until I was literally on my flight to MFE but I understand we live in a world where honesty is scare. Which is why I have to share this story. I left my necklace and blanket at the property. Simon called me and told me that they had found it and I met them the next morning to get them. They weren't expensive items but had deep sentimental value! They have other properties in the area and we will defintely be back in the RGV and will only stay at one of Simon's properties! The only criticism I would have is that there was no towel linens in the kitchen and no washcloths or conditioner for the bathroom. Oh and this would be an amazing property for people with pets!
