Great place to gather with family. Room for everyone and awesome location to get around. Place is off a main road but still very private at the back of the property. Lots of entertainment provided

We stayed at the Barn during our daughters graduation from CSU. It was a perfect location for us to celebrate with famjly and friends and enjoy the town of Ft. Collins. The home is in a prime location close to the campus and downtown Fort Collins. The barn far exceeded our expectations, its unique charm and coziness made for a perfect trip. There is plenty of space both inside and outside which was great for our large group. The hosts were very accomodating and responded promptly when we reached out with questions. I would highly reccomend this home to anyone visiting Fort Collins, you will not find anything else like it!

A group of 11 (14 yr. - 53 yr.) came to Fort Collins to celebrate my husband's birthday and see a concert. The Big Barn didn't disappoint. It was cozy and quirky and perfect for our little get away. I was nervous about the barn only having two bathrooms, but it was never a problem! Plenty of silverware, cups, plates, etc for our group and more. There were even cabinets with sugar and spices. Plenty of paper towels, etc. It was so easy to communicate with Russell when questions did arise! Would highly recommend the big barn. It was so conveniently located close to Old Town and easy to access off the highway (coming in from Denver Airport).

We love the barn. The location is perfect, amenities are great, and hosts are so kind. It is the best place for a Ft. Collins getaway, especially if you have students who attend CSU.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting family during Christmas. Barn is over the top with charm & character … Nice & warm with cozy beds & everything we needed. Owners left us a welcome snack basket which was great for our late arrival. Location is convenient to restaurants and down town tucked away from The road with plenty of parking. Loved our stay

This was one of the coolest houses we’ve ever rented. It has everything you need and it’s central to everything in Fort Collins. So much space for everyone and the hosts were responsive and helpful. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be booking here again in the future! Everyone loved it!

The barn was perfect for our family

5 friends quilting in Ft. Collins loved staying at the red barn. It is a very comfortable place to stay. We loved the big gathering room with all the tv’s and a very well stocked kitchen. At one time we had the CU game on one tv, CSU game on another tv and the World Series on another tv. It was great. The beds were all comfortable. Thank you for the comfort of your “red barn”.

The barn had plenty of common space for our group -comfortable bedrooms-plenty of TVs and cool decor. The host is on property and very accommodating. the only suggestion I would give is that it might not be idea for someone with mobility issues - one bedroom did not require stairs but the bathroom on that level was a claw tub that might be challenging access

I was a little worried about the size of the barn and our party size but it worked out great, the only thing that could have made it better was maybe a half bath. With 10 girls it was a little challenging showering and getting ready but we made it work. Maybe mirrors in the bedrooms as well since we were limited on space to get ready. But overall it was a very nice stay and great locations.

The big red barn was a wonderful and unique property for our group of girlfriends to gather for a weekend together exploring some of the great things that Fort Collins, Colorado has to offer. We loved the location and the close access to Old Town, the CSU campus and Trial Flower Garden, and Lory State Park. The host Russell was very prompt and responsive to our requests and questions. We liked that there were so many beds. One drawback was the bathroom situation: there are not enough bathrooms for the number of guests the barn can sleep. The main floor bathroom is quite small, and the basement level bathroom is larger, but can only be accessed down a set of tight circular stairs. It was cramped for everyone to get ready at the same time in order to go out for dinner. Maybe putting a well-lit mirror in every bedroom and in the loft would help to create more spaces for getting dressed. I also found the property to be just a little bit overpriced for a two-night stay after the cleaning fee and all the other Vrbo fees and taxes were added in. We didn't spend very much time at the barn, and we certainly didn't make a mess of the place when we were there, so it was a bit expensive for our purposes and impact. All that said, we did really enjoy the barn property. It was a memorable place to stay. It would have been nice to spend more time at the barn, but there are a lot of fun things to do in and around FoCo. I guess we needed a longer weekend!

My daughters review- We absolutely loved staying at the Historic Barn House. I just got married, and needed a bigger place for guests & family to be able to stay so I found this property to stay at with friends and family before the wedding and we all loved your property. If you are looking for a great area to bring family & friends this is the place . We all were able to relax and watch movies in the theater room, and the layout of the house was perfect for our group . We all had a great time & plan on visiting again in the future . Thank you for proving such a wonderful property for so many people to enjoy . I will always remember getting ready for my wedding at your house .

Was the perfect setting for a bachelor party. Had everything we needed and was very close to all of the locations we wanted to hit. Great communication with the property owner as well. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Fort Collins!

The touches around the property were so unique and there was plenty of room for my larger group to spread out. The house was clean and the hosts were very accommodating and great at communicating.

The stay at the barn house was fun. We loved the history and feel of the home. We would definitely stay again if we ever go back to Ft, Collins. My boys (husband included) had so much fun playing ping pong and darts. Loved it 5 stars! Thank you.

What a fantastic house! The style and quirky house that hosts large groups perfectly! We stayed with two families including 4 teens for the CSU move in week. The location was perfect and the house was large so we could all spread out to our own spaces, after driving from the PNW for 3 days, that was required! Russell was super attentive when we needed some soap and having the kitchen stocked with lots of dishware was important. We will for SURE, stay again at the big barn house when we are in town! What a unique home for your stay in Fort Collins! Great location and really fun place for a special occasion!

Even though we live in Fort Collins, we booked ‘the Barn’ for a week to host our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration and family reunion. Couldn’t have done better. Everyone loved the unique ambiance. There was lots of room and a variety of local options to keep everyone happy. 5 stars down the line

Our group had an amazing time here. The barn is so beautiful! It almost has the feel of being in the country even though it’s right in town. It’s a great location to be in. I definitely recommend this place as a place to stay for people with a big group.

This property is amazing. Our daughter got married and this house was a perfect place for family and friends to stop by and visit. The theater room was a great space for all the teens to watch movies and play games. We hosted a brunch a day after the wedding and were able to easily accommodate our family and friends. The house was comfortable and well-equipped. We would highly recommend this property to anyone. We received multiple comments from our guests about what a neat, unique and wonderful property it was. Everything was great .. highly recommend!!

Russell & Veronica were amazing hosts! The Red Barn was perfect for our big framily group while we played softball all over the Ft Collins area. It has plenty of space for 3 families to all have private space but also amazing outdoor and indoor group areas. We made full use of the cornhole boards, ping pong table and grill in the evenings for down time and the large kitchen and living area were perfect for mornings and everything in between.

Everyone in the family loved the barn and didn't want to leave when our stay was over. It is extremely well equipped throughout and especially in the kitchen. The owners were very kind and welcoming. It was a fantastic vacation experience!

This refurbished barn home met all of our large family needs for larger gatherings at meal times and beyond!

Unique and beautiful decor make the barn house a fabulous meeting place for my large extended family! This was our second time at the barn house. Everything is very clean, kitchen has plenty of supplies, great basement bathroom. Best of all, we love the main floor large open dining room/kitchen/living room area. So much room for us all to hang out together. That long dining room table is the best! My elderly parents can maneuver their walkers quite easily into the house via the side double doors. They love sitting at the table watching everything going on. This time we celebrated my dad's 90th birthday. We hope to do the same next year for my mom's 90th! Thank you, Russell and Veronica!

Property was just like in the pictures. Very nice. Property manager was onsite and responsive. All appliances worked and were in good order. Would’ve been nice to have more dishes for our larger group and some plastics for the kids. Otherwise a great place to stay.
