Beautiful home and so very comfortable. A home away from home .

We absolutely LOVED staying here. The owners (Mike and Debby) were the best hosts ever. Their communication, support, and flexibility was off the charts. They let us check in early and checkout late. When we arrived, they had a Bundt cake with a handwritten card welcoming us. They overstocked everything! They had things such as razors, toothbrushes, laundry soap, mouthwash, snacks, spices and much more. We will definitely be back. Thank you Mike and Debby for what an example of 5+ star service entails!

The Hideaway was perfect for us and another couple. The home was fully equipped with everything you need and the addition bonus - small amenities like toothbrushes, makeup wipes, and even slippers in the master suite made it all the best for us. The owners truly care about their guests and thought of all possible need. Will definitely book again.

This property was definitely a step above! Everything stated about this property was accurate and above and beyond expectations! The host were easy to communicate with! They were very welcoming with all the little extra things they provided! The beds were exceptional and all the amenities were well appointed and well stocked! I would highly recommend this place to my family and friends and hope to return in the future!

We stayed at Casa de Kona with adult kids for a long weekend. It was one of the best VRBO’s we ever stayed in! The place is gorgeous, comfortable, safe and close to everything. Mike and Debby are so easy to communicate with. They have thought of all the details and needs that family staying at their place would need. Really can’t think of anything that I would change or add. Thank you so much for everything, Mike and Debby!!

Stayed here with my parents during a visit to see my brother. Great location with easy access to I-5 and not far from the beach. Outside space was a bonus which we really enjoyed. Mike and Debby were great to deal with and very responsive.

This is a great property and had all of the things we might need. Mike and Debby were great hosts and very responsive. Our boys were excited about the yard toys in the backyard and getting to stay in the master bedroom upstairs. We will book it again the next time we’re in South O. We’ll need to return in the Summer or Fall so that we can take advantage of the beach toys as the ocean will be warmer than in February.

Absolutely wonderful...clean, the layout of the home if perfect for 2 separate couples. We loved it and highly recommend it!

If you are looking for a very nice, clean spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath … this is the house for you . Mike and Debby did a great job weigh the home, really clean (spotless, I’ve never said that about a VRBO) and spacious and MOST important to us is the comfort of the bed. These beds were awesome,we stayed 4 nights 3 days and sleep as if I were in my own bed at home. Close to EVERYTHING, 2 mins from I-95 in the beautiful Oceanside Ca. Btw I spoke several mins with Becky is great and very person …Thx guys should our travels bring us up Oceanside we’ll definitely be stay here.

Absolutely 5 star home! No expense spared. Owners thought of everything we could possibly need. Such a comfortable relaxing vibe. The back patio was wonderful! Open concept floor plans are our favorite and this one was perfect! Close proximity to stores, beach and freeway were plusses. We would definitely go back. Hosts are the best!

This was my first experience using a house rental service, and quite frankly, if this is what I can always expect then I'm sold!! Debby and Mike run a first class operation and we did not want for a thing. Whenever I had a question, Debby promptly responded and is a very gracious host. You can tell that they take alot of pride in this rental. The house itself was really much nicer than expected; clean, well stocked with all essentials, including any cooking gadget and/or electric appliance. My husband usually has trouble sleeping away from home, but the beds were very comfortable, so no complaints! The upstairs master suite is awesome, unfortunately there were too many stairs for me and my husband to navigate daily, but our daughter thoroughly enjoyed it! Although we were expecting to be closer to the beaches, it really wasn't hard to get to any of them and the house came with 2 sheds fully stocked with all types of beach stuff and coolers. Our grandkids wanted to go to the beaches every day after sightseeing, so we didn't get to spend alot of time making use of all the toys or the yard, but it was nice to have them available and to have the back patio to chill out in the evenings. I wish they owned other properties in other states, but if we ever go back to Oceanside, we will definitely be staying at Casa de Kona

We had a four day girls’ time- out at the Hideaway. The two bath, two bedroom arrangement gave us both space for privacy, while the comfy common spaces gave us a place to chat, eat, etc. The decorating is updated and EVERYTHING we could have needed was provided. The interior and the yard were immaculate. The owner/managers were friendly and courteous, easy to reach and prompt with answers to any questions. Note that the yard space is shared space with other renters, unless you bring your whole family and take both units. The neighborhood was very quiet, residential with no issue as to parking. The Hideaway is just a few minutes’ drive to the ocean, fun places to eat and shop. I would stay again..Thanks Debby and Mike!

This property was exactly as described. It was very comfortable, clean and enjoyable. The hosts were also extremely helpful, going out of their way for us. Really appreciate all they did and would definitely recommend this place.

This was our first time renting through VRBO and it was a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful - clean, updated, and nicely furnished. The kitchen has great appliances and is well stocked with anything you may need. My kids loved the private backyard with tons of games to choose from. The backyard and upstairs patio provide plenty of great outdoor hangout spots. The bedrooms have comfy king beds and the bathrooms are spacious and updated. The hosts were so welcoming and communicated everything we needed to know for the property as well as suggestions for things to do in the area. Location is great, close to beach, tons of restaurants/shops, freeway, and Legoland. Highly recommend, we would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable home. The owners went out of their way to provide my favorite coffee creamer so that i could enjoy coffee in the morning as I was arriving late i. the evening and wouldn’t be able to shop so late. Loved the fire pit and deck. would love to return !

This place was a perfect retreat - from the small touches like the welcome note and cake to the little things that make a big difference like coffee, laundry detergent, paper towels, and yard games - Mike and Deb have really thought of everything. This was a great space to be with our family. Super Clean with high ceilings and an amazing yard and patio - it’s a beautiful place. Thank you for everything!

I can't say enough about Debbie and Mike and their vacation home away from home. They were responsive, helpful and gracious. They made me feel like a friend whose comfort and relaxation was their top priority. Their home was wonderfully appointed, cozy and comfortable. I couldn't have asked for more! The neighborhood was quaint, convenient and felt very safe. I can not wait to return and stay again!

House had all necessities and more also it’s near stater bros and Walmart, looking forward to coming back.

While we only had short trip, this new construction and very well appointed home was a perfect place to get our Marine off base for a couple days to relax and help him meal prep. For the price of a 1 room 2 bed hotel room near the water, this is a spacious 2 bed/2 bath with a kitchen that has all utensils needed for cooking and baking. Linens and towels were all better than average quality. Large Deck was spacious and comfortable. The owners even left a hand written note with a complimentary bowl of fruit and chocolate cake. Can’t say enough good things about property and the owners!

We enjoyed our staycation here at the casa! Very clean and comfortable! We booked here mainly because it was pet free! The outdoors space is fun and even the 10 month old loved running around in his walker. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for everything! We will be back!
