Comfortable and clean room. Breakfast excellent, freshly cooked to order, substantial amount. Location was a little further than i expected from local sites and larger towns.

Couldn't get WiFi into my room and the remote would not work when I tried it late at night

Too many stairs, top floor room. Doors opened in different ways.

The breakfast was outstanding , staff very friendly and attentive. Food in the restaurant was very good and the prices were reasonable.
Bathroom let the room down imo. It was clean but could have benefited from a little more quality materials when renovated.

Water pressure was low and couldn’t connect to wifi but was on top floor.

A warm and comfortable stay.
Pleasant staff.
Breakfast only to 0830. Not great for older patrons who have arrived from a long journey the evening before.

Really warm and friendly welcome from Tom, the proprietor, and nothing was too much trouble, even on Christmas Day. My room was lovely - it had been newly-decorated and was really spacious, with a window that looked out over the street and the Chatteris Christmas lights. Breakfast was hot and plentiful, with many options. The TV also had many options, including Netflix, which was a real bonus as I don't have it at home (at least I didn't!). An ideal place to stay when visiting elderly parents in the town - I'll be back next Christmas if not before!
