The unit was close to so many places and about a 8 minute walk to the beach . We didn’t mind the walk because the scenery was beautiful, there’s a cross walk with a bunch of turtles the kids loved ! Loved that we got two beach chairs with the rental at the beach . They had all pots we needed to cook and even an outdoor grill . The rooms are super cute and the beds were soooooo comfy we slept so good and usually we don’t . We would suggest this rental to the next person !

Everything was awesome. Only 2 feedback - The house was clean except for the floor that would make your foot Go dirty but we used the flip flops. And the bunkbed was quite noisy to sleep on. Kitchen and Bath was well equipped. it is a beautifully decorated house!

I would give a complete 5 instead of 4 for overall, but I had to reclean the master bathroom on arrival. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would definitely do it again.

Upon arrival, some hair in the bathtub and something bloody looking in the corner of the master bath by the toilet was there. There were plenty of bath towels available and everything we needed to make and eat meals there. (7 of us) It was smaller than expected for 7 people (44, 35, 17, 12, 11, 11, and 9yo) The location was great! Close to one cold pool, and one warmer pool, and a short walk to the beach. Beautiful area on a lake, so our children also went fishing at the lake. Short walk to a candy shop, ice cream shop, and beach store! Property manager answered all questions very promptly

We wanted a quick getaway. We had hoped to be closer to the beach than we were. When we originally booked, the listing showed us right on the beach which is what made us book. We made the best of it and enjoyed our time. The unit was the perfect size for our group.

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at SouthBay #27. It was well-equipped with all of our needs, including lots of beach accessories (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, floats) in the the outdoor storage room. The free beach service (2 chairs and one umbrella) was also very nice! We would definitely want to stay here again!

Overall it was wonderful. Would also recommend this property.. A little down side was walk to the Beach. It was longer than we all thought. But the good thing we didn’t have to cross any roads to get to the beach! It wasn’t no 15 minutes though.

It was smaller than I thought from the pictures but overall great property! It was close to everything and clean!

The house is absolutely gorgeous! There are so many amenities above & beyond expectations! The only complaint we had was the walk to the beach. However, the pros far outweigh the cons!

5 minute walk to beach not 300 ft like the posting said. Nice place and good neighborhood. The master bed is horrible really needs a new one but other than that it was good.

We definitely enjoyed our trip and the unit was nice. The downstairs and master are roomy, while the two other bedrooms are very tight. We definitely overpaid for what it is. Access to the beach can be confusing and the gate code doesn’t always want to work the first time. There was nothing in our booking info about beach service and the private beach is taken over by rental chairs most of the day. We did not know anything about this beach service and we’re quite shocked when we began to be harassed by a stranger wanting to know where we were staying every time we stepped on the beach. He was most unfriendly & unhelpful but after some phone calls and speaking with a different beach employee we were finally comfortable going down to the beach on day 3. So there were some aspects of the stay that were very stressful. We woke up the first morning to ants all over the kitchen. The high chair still had food in it. An entire fake fingernail was found in the pull out couch and that bed was so terrible no one could sleep on it. A pair of thong underwear were also left in the dresser. Not the standard of cleanliness we had expected. The pool and lake were nice and the overall location was convenient although extremely busy location. The unit felt very safe with the front door having a code entry and the sliding door locking and having a board to place down at night to prevent it opening. There was a play pen and canopy tent and tons of beach toys to use in the storage closets. Despite the busy season, it was generally quiet and neighbors were respectful. Overall we enjoyed our time together and the unit and property was okay but we’ll choose somewhere different in future, especially for the money we were charged.

Seemed a little pricey but its understandable we the current events in the past year. Only complaint is one mattress had a lot of dirt and sand.

The house was not clean at all when we first walked in. The bunk bed seems dangerous to sleep in. The back door doesn't have a lock. Not enough sheets. Floors extremely dirty and dusty. House was not vacuumed fully. The deep clean was not accurate at all. The kitchen smelled of nasty chemicals and has a bug infestation. The washer and dryer do not work well. For the price the rental should of been better.

The townhouse was beautiful and exactly what we needed for our family vacation. It was extremely clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and there was a tv in the living room as well as in each bedroom. It was walking distance to the beach, although if you have a child under 3 years old, you may consider bringing a stroller for the walk, as it may be a bit too far for them. My 5 year old handled our daily walk to the beach just fine. My one complaint is that the email communication from the host is not legible. They use a bright blue background with light gray font, and I (at 33 years old) couldn’t read any of the emails. I suggest choosing different colors so your guests can read your correspondence. I highly recommend this property. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

It was a great place to stay and very close to the beach.

Unit was very well updated. Floors seemed very dusty upon our arrival and every TV was blaring when we arrived. A little walk to the beach, but no terrible. Unit included a beach umbrella and chairs every day, but this was not communicated very well, so we didn't get to use this the first day. Stay was overall good.

There were several issues. First, we rented this unit based the bed layout in each room. We expected one room with two twin beds, instead it was a bunk bed. This room was for myself (50+) and my sister (60+). Not ideal for two grown ups. There was a pullout couch downstairs, which was the solution by Newman Dailey(ND). However there was a hallway light with no switch to turn it off. When a maintenance man came to look at it and provide lightbulbs for various lamps, his solution was to use the breaker box which also turns off the light to the bathroom....not ideal. Leading up to the vacation, I had to ask several questions because the emails from ND were not clear. I did however get a quick response. They have an app they advertise but it isn't easy to find and didn't prove useful. Once arrived, we did not find the wifi code, pool or gate codes for the property and were unaware the unit provided beach chair service. After call with ND, were told it was in welcome kit. We finally found the wifi and beach chair service amoung all of the promotional material. This should have been easy to find, stapled on the bag. The beach chair service should have been made known in advance. We were not given the gate and pool codes in welcome kit. In fact when we called to ask about them, we were told the codes we asked for were not part of the property, even though they were ( we stayed at this property in the past). It took Another call to get the codes. The property has been renovated since we booked property in February. The property is very nice. However, it is clear no one has inspected the property as if they are going to be staying there. I provided a list of items to ND.ND was responsive to my calls and questions, however, they had a lot of excuses for everything I called and complained about. When they denied the poor communication and treated me as if I was unfamiliar with how booking and communication works I was insulted. I travel globally for business and have booked vacation rentals from VRBO for 25 years. This unit included a lot of hidden fees. I will not use ND again. If I choose a rental in the future managed by then I will cancel my booking.

Very nice stay. Property is clean and well maintained. Beach access requires a 5-8 minute walk through a quiet residential area. Overall a wonderful vacation.

This place is amazing. It was recently renovated so everything was new and clean! The location is awesome. 7 min walk (and that is walking with a three-year old and stopping on a boardwalk to feed the turtles) to the beach. Grocery store and ice cream place close by. Management was very responsive with a few issues we had. The AC worked great for us. The kitchen is well equipped (including a toaster and blender) with basics for cooking.

When I booked website states that property was on the beach.. we had to walk 2 blocks to get to the beach! So don't advertise on the beach!!!

I had short vacation with my friends. It really good experience.

This rental is well represented by the photos shown. We had a very comfortable stay for the 6 of us (4 adults and 2 kids). We spent most of our time out and about so we did not utilize the condo for eating or hanging out much. This unit is conveniently located very close to one of the pools and was farther away from the beach than I realized but was still only a short walk. We enjoyed walking the boardwalk across the lake on our way to the beach. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. Soaps and towels were plentiful and the washer and dryer were great to have to keep up with washing beach towels.
