Room was not clean - host rectified this quickly though, Trouble with the hot water, which again was fixed upon request.

I had to wait a bit till I received the keys. It was not uncommon but the heat was the real issue.

The brand new contemporary bathroom and the separate bedroom from large living room/kitchen area. The fact that it was a completely private self-contained quiet apartment. Good Air Con and Wifi. Well stocked kitchen crockery and cooking facilities, with large fridge. Milk, tea and good coffee pods freely available. Despite my late arrival flight, the host met me on arrival with keys. Short walk to a street filled with cafes and restaurants.
Could do with a tidy up outside - although this may have been left over from the now completed renovations.

The hot water was really hard to regulate in the shower - it was either boiling hot or cold ..... luckily it took a minute or so to change from one to the other!

The apartment was advertised to suggest it was a standard apartment complex. However, it was actually just an existing home which was divided in half, so as to make an apartment; the owner of which was living in the other half.
The apartment did not provide the expected privacy, as the owner could be distinctly and loudly heard in the other half, talking on the phone. It was immediately clear that we would not have enough privacy, nor could we relax, as such we chose to not stay the night. This detail should really be indicated on the advertisement, further the pictures associated with the accommodation were not correct, with various pictures of another apartment included.
We contacted the owner via text, requesting a refund, however they never responded. Don't make our mistake, just go to a proper hotel.

Nothing. I would never stay there again. Moreover I think Booking.com should defer from including this property from future tourist visitors. The owner is an interfering, anally retentive man who started with distrust and assumed that I was suspect and even demanded that I produce a passport on arrival, stating that he considered I was an overseas person, despite my driver's licence address in Kirribilli. He continued to harass us during a short stay and even entered our apartment in our absence on morning 1 to open windows and to check that we were not using the second bedroom. On leaving he wanted us to call him to let us out of the property but we were keen to avoid any altercation and wanted to get out the back gate on our own but were met by a strange woman in the car park who demanded to receive our keys, without any sign of her own status or any labels or identification being provided. Most strange, almost bizarre and certainly not normal treatment of experienced Booking.com clients who were simply visiting Perth to visit a brand new grand-daughter. Appalling experience. Never should be repeated.

Val, the host was awesome. He called me few days before i flew to Perth. Greeted me by the roadside on my arrival and shown me around the property as well as the cafes, shops and mall around the apartment.

It was my first time to this apartment but was a good choice.
They upgraded my studio to a bigger apartment without paying extra money.
Everything was available in excess like towels ,sugar ,tea and milk.
Definetly that would my favourite place to book next time.

Great location, not far to walk to the nearest train station [Oats Street Station]. When you walk the other direction towards Albany Highway, there are many restaurants to choose from and a supermarket.
