The apartment is clean and comfortable.

Access by car is not easy. I do not recommend it for those with small children and need to carry a lot of luggage. The loft is on the 3rd level, wooden stairs and no emergency exit. We didn't identify a smoke alarm and so we were a little worried. It is necessary to rent bed linen which is mentioned in the details but not in the main advertisement. For us it was a surprise to book rooms and additionally rent bed linen.

The check-in was late. the appartement was smelly, dark and humid. We refused to stay there. The lady who greeted us only spoke french (we used phone translate to communicate). We refused to stay there because of the serious smell. She spoke to her boss and she followed to another appartement in the building. We went through the back, ascended a couple of stairs (it felt more like descending to some catacombs, because of the humid feeling of the entire building). the appartement was then locked and apparently booked. We were told that we would get a refund, and that we would get updates through the proces. We left. We never heard a word. Called the number that we first got in touch with the landlord multiple times, but from then on, there was no contact whatsoever. The place is by the way nowhere near 5 minutes from the beach, unless you're at very good runner. Un top of the price charged, there's an extra charge of linens. Be aware of that. This place is NOT recommendable!!! On top of that Booking.com is totally useless. Impossible to get in touch with. I wrote to them via formulate on website, mail and tried to contact them via phone. We traveled 3 weeks trough France and had many great stays, but this one took the price as the worst.

- we did not get the apartment we booked, the pictures were wrong (and are still today online 30th of July 2021) - the room we got was smaller e.g. only one bed instead of two! - we did not get a message after we booked and as well no answers to our questions in advance - the place was not prepared when we arrived, we had to wait an hour - the washing machine was not usable due to a broken handle - the second evening we had no water at all - we could not use the toilette, take a shower or get water for cooking and drinking (the boss answered and tried to help, but a plumber should come not earlier than the next morning…) - when we asked for a discount for all that trouble we never got an answer again, we will contact booking.com directly for this purpose
