Our 2 dogs loved the big backyard and so did we. Pool was still a bit cold during our stay but that didn't stop us. Only had some very minor complaints; The entrance door could use privacy blinds and the kitchen window could also use some blinds. When the evening sun faced that side of the house it made the kitchen very warm and uncomfortable to cook in. Lastly, the toilet seat cover upstairs could be updated. You can tell the plastic is old and turning yellow. Again, minor things. Overall, the place was a great house for a family vacation and I would recommend it.

We brought our bikes and the kids rode to downtown often. House is in very good condition. One concern is the stove needs replaced. I thought the oven door was going to fall off during our stay. And the oven is not level. I made brownies and the batter shifted to one side. We really enjoyed the volleyball court. It would be helpful if there was a rake to move the sand. The sand has blown to one side by the fence so one side is higher than the other. We did find four nails/screws at the edge of the court, likely from the fence construction. Recommend the management company use a construction magnet to remove any others. Pool is beautiful! Overall a great place and would definitely stay again!

I loved that the yard and decks are fully enclosed. The house was very clean. The galley kitchen has everything one could need to cook a meal, but only space for one "chef" at a time. It wasn't a problem for us. The home is a short walk from the beach, and there is a trolley stop just steps from the driveway. We appreciated the circular drive, as Via de Luna can be busy at times. Beds are comfortable, and the upstairs bathroom is great. The master bathroom is adequate, but we didn't like the shower. Having a gas grill on upper and lower levels is very convenient. We would certainly stay at this property again! Paradise Beach Homes is the best!

1. Some of the house needs just general maintenance. It didn’t effect our stay just aware. For example: the white spindles around the upper deck have a few that are loose or completely unattached from the bottom rail.
2. The pool was colder than I expected but again it didn’t effect our stay
3. The jets in the tub upstairs don’t work or we couldn’t figure it out
4. We couldn’t keep sand out of our beds no matter how hard we tried. We swept, we showered, we kept towels by our bed to wipe our feet off. Even still. Ah the beach life
5. The kitchen was smaller than I expected-it’s very much a one butt kitchen. Again didn’t effect anything we just altered the way we prepped and served meals.

All of my “complaints” didn’t phase our vacation in the least bit. We would stay again and again. It was so peaceful and relaxing -something you can’t always say traveling with lots of kids.

We decided that it was on our dogs bucket list to see the ocean/beach so we drove here from Minnesota with our pups in tow. Check in was fast & easy, and the house & yard were fantastic! We loved that the yard was completely fenced in, so the dogs could wander safely, and we all loved lounging by the beautiful pool. The walls and cabinets had stains -food/drink remnants, things were sticky/grime/dirty, peeling/missing paint, the vent covers throughout the home were disgustingly dirty. I had to wash the sheets and comforters on arrival in the two primary bedrooms as they were stained and did not smell clean. After cleaning the stains went away which leads me to believe the comforters had not been washed for our arrival. There was sand in both primary beds on arrival as well, which leads me to believe the sheets were not cleaned either. The bed in the downstairs bedroom needs a new mattress(2 large indents & not comfortable). The couch is falling apart - when sitting on it the cushions slide off, front door is missing 1/2 the seal at the bottom which lead to bugs and cold air creeping in. The oven had a weird chemical smell when using and the silverware was dirty. The windows are old, dirt and moss in the sills, the wood around a few appears to be rotting, and you can hear the traffic on the road from both primary bedrooms at night. Being charged a $300 cleaning fee is unacceptable based on how dirty the home was.

I would not recommend this rental if you care about cleanliness and are used to a normal standard of accommodation. This is an ideal house if you want to throw back to your college days and plan to party, enjoy the pool & beach spending most of your time NOT in the house.

We loved our week here. The house was super clean, everything was easy to find. Check-in and out was super easy and they gave us a gift bag with salsa and chips and the bag is reusable. We felt safe and secure during our stay. we will be booking again for our next vacation. Side note: we went the week of thanksgiving, and the pool was freezing so if you want to swim go in October.
