The location, the accommodation, the hosts, the decor, the.personal touches with breakfast and the attention to detail and their guests comfort! The wild life visiting the beautiful garden was a bonus! We would highly recommend The Cheese Room for a great escape and tranquility.

the Tv was through internet and internet was intermittent on our stay but it was so nice it’s not something I’d complain about

A perfect breakfast with fruit, a variety of flakes and jams and lovely breads. A rural location with plenty of wild life coming into the garden including rabbits,squirrels,owls and occasionally deer.

Everything was perfect and our host was always there to advise and assist.

A hidden gem in Somerset! Such a lovely place to stay, breakfast was so nice and the room was gorgeous! We will be back if we are ever in the area again!

Very peaceful spot. 👍 Off road parking. Comfortable, nicely furnished spacious studio style room with small sofa, dining table. Great shower / bathroom. Warm welcome from host. Great location for quantocks / Taunton. Breakfast croissants (warm) supplied in the morning to go with fruit, cereals and yoghurt in the room. Outdoor space/seating to chill. If you need to Find a pub only 10 mins drive to a few. We tried Maypole Inn which was very good.

The apartment was a lot bigger than expected, the bed was very comfortable. We had everything we needed and couldn't have asked for more. Lovely to wake up to nothing but the sound of birds!

Fabulous bathroom and lovely toiletries! Sumptuous bed and bedding. Lovely continental breakfast - good range of cereals big bowl of fresh fruit fresh milk and orange juice and warm pastries. Picturesque spot although narrow windy road to property! Good directions from lovely friendly helpful host Stu.

Nothing really although step down to shower might be highlighted a little. A couple of thinner softer pillows in wardrobe might be useful.

The breakfast was superb with a variety of items, including excellent fresh bread. Stu went out of his way to provide goats milk as requested. Stu was a wonderful host friendly without being intrusive. The location was as stated tranquil and relaxing. We liked the daily message on the chalk board.

The apartment is spacious, warm and really nicely furnished. It has a very comfy bed, fantastic shower, and everything needed for a very comfortable stay - amazing attention to detail by Stu. The fresh items for breakfast appearing downstairs for us to collect each morning were a real treat and we appreciated the very good digital TV service. The quiet location is lovely, but only a few minutes from a small town with several places to eat or get a takeaway. There is plenty of countryside nearby to explore, and the Cheese Room is also not far from Taunton, Bridgewater and the Somerset coast. We arrived after a stressful time at home and left feeling relaxed and refreshed.

An absolutely gorgeous suite with the highest quality fixtures, fittings and furniture. So many additional elements to enhance our stay, such as guest information about things to do in the area and a lovely garden area. The continental breakfast was to a very high standard including beautiful freshly baked bread. The situation was pure tranquility and escapism. Stu was an excellent host and communication around check in and anything else you might need was first class. This is one hidden gem that should never remain a secret!

A lovely, fresh choice was supplied each morning.

A light over the mirror in the bathroom would have been helpful. Also a standup mirror in the main room for ladies who need to blow dry their hair near a plug and put on makeup. This wouldn't normally have been a requirement but because we were attending a wedding we needed to spend a bit more care on our appearance.
