A fabulous location, really comfy bed and pillows, bathroom had a bath, room looked over a lovely terrace. Hotel had a quirky cellar and bar. Nice breakfast buffet. Highly recommend

Parking is not far but it will be a nightmare if it rains. Anyway all hotels inside San Gimignano are the same as they are in ZTL.

The hotel is at the far end of the main walking concourse through town. First class breakfast, large comfy room. We wished we could have stayed another night. The staff directed us to a great restaurant, Il Pino, a one minute walk from the hotel. Our room had 200-year-old frescos on the walls.

We didn’t like the shower bathtub…huge step into the tub with no hand rails to grab.

The city centre location of the hotel is convenient for sightseeing, restaurants, shopping & bars, but it wasn't noisy. There is also an interesting historic basement (pictured) with a well & grain storage facilities. There was plenty of storage space in the cupboard & lots of hot water in the shower. The choice of food at breakfast is good.

Our room was compact & pretty basic. There are too few power plugs & no pretence at luxury. Our friends had a nearby room they described as the smallest & "most uncomfortable since student days". Avoid room 34 on the 3rd floor if you can! The good choice of food at breakfast is spoiled by the coffee - unquestionably the worst we experienced in 12 days in Italy!

Hotel was great and a brilliant location. We wish we had stayed 2 nights! Breakfast was very lovely. Staff were great and you could not beat the location.

I booked the pink room for me and my bridesmaids before my wedding day. The room, the staff, the food and the service was all perfect. They made sure that we had the best day and time there. We have told all our wedding guests to book this hotel whenever they visit San Gimignano. If you do, they will take very good care of you. I highly recommend it!

The staff was very helpful and gracious and the breakfast was very good, very fresh and a lot of options. The location was excellent.

The room was small and could have used a little upgrading. There were stairs up to the bathroom.

While our room was large it seemed over furnished and with 2 suitcases it was very cluttered.We put one case on the desk so we could move without bumping into things (not a major problem)
