We stayed here for Christmas to be near family. The owners communicated very well with instructions for a seamless check-in, especially after a long day in a plane. Open spaces to move around was a welcome respite at the end of the day.

Overall, place was pretty good as long as you know that this resort is on the older end. Great location and easy access to restaurants and shops. We booked this spot knowing it was mostly for sleeping and we weren't going to be spending too much time there. Great to have a kitchen and washer/dryer. Bed and pillows could be more comfortable for sure. Sheets pop off as soon as you lay down. Great to have access to beach chairs, a cooler bag, things like that. Had a great trip and thankful for clear and easy communications with the owners.

Great location, quiet and clean. Close to the elevator and easy parking. Pools are wonderful, restaurant and stores are reasonable. Perfet one bedroom for a week-long stay and everything in the apartment worked well ... and it is air conditioned. Great hosts, easy check in and no regrets! Scott and Sharon

The unit is clean and well provisioned to make your stay very relaxing, including beach chairs and toys, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. Restaurants and stores are just a short walk away. The pools are excellent and a great location to meet new friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Check in was easy! Place was in a great location. The property was under construction and only pool was even open. The condo had most things we needed. Could have use paper towels and more then one roll of TP for 10 days with two people would have been nice too. Also the bed was super old and way too soft. Like instead of replacing it they put a topper like pillow thing on it! The KY jelly we found under the bed gross and not a bonus! We would have also liked it a little cleaner we found lots of gross hair in the bathroom. We would return to the area just never stay here again. Really needs a deep Cleaning and some stocking of supplies! We are returning to Maui in the fall of next year but not staying here again… E Fam

Our family (grandparents, single dad son with 2 toddler grandkids, daughter and son-in-law) re-created years of Maui visits to our timeshare at Kaanapali Beach Club and needed one more room! John and Barb's condo next door at the Kahana Shores turned out to be an amazingly blessed addition. Our daughter and her husband stayed there with gratitude and luxury while we all got the benefit of the facilities. GREAT kids pool, lovely massage treatments, super service and access. Couldn't have made a better choice. They even provided the beach and pool toys! Thank you, thank you!!

What a great find! We were so pleased with everything - the kitchen is fantastic, sofa bed was comfortable for our young kids (6 and 9 yrs old), and air con worked very well. The unit had new beach chairs and umbrella, we found them so handy. Location is great and so convenient to access the beautiful beaches of Napili and Kapalua. The owners were very responsive and I would highly recommend this rental to anyone. Thank you!!

This property had everything my husband and I needed for our honeymoon stay! Beautiful partial-ocean view. Everything in the room was functional and clean. Short walk to the parking lot and/or pool and beach area. Resort is overall great, too. Would stay here again!

Had a fantastic week in Maui. Check in information from hosts were clear and easy to follow. Condo was clean and well equipped. We really appreciated the beach chairs and swim noodles. We also utilized the tupperware in the kitchen-able to take lunches/dinners to the beach. Facilities around the complex were nice-we really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the beach. Location was excellent as there were great snorkeling beaches nearby and downtown Lahaina was ~10 min drive. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was great about this condo and resort. The condo was clean and had everything that we needed including beach chairs and umbrella. The resort has two beautiful pools with the beach right in front of one. The restaurant has good food, drinks, and live music and entertainment. They even had local artists teach about Hawaiian culture. We had no complaints and would definitely stay again.

We have had asupicious results with both the rental sources so we were a little hesitant to do it for this major event. Couldn't have a a better surprise and excellent stay than we did at this location suite. Clean, updated, the resort is pristine but not snobby in any way. Met several friendly people and enjoyed it in every way. We look forward to coming back to our host's suite again.

We throughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Kaanapali Shores. The one bedroom condominium was conveniently located close to the elevator from the parking garage. It was very clean and comfortable. It would probably be good for up to 4 guests. The kitchen is quite large and equipped with most everything you need to cook a meal while on property. we also appreciated that there were two TVs in the condo. There are beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and some children’s beach toys in the closet. There is also a handtruck that can be made into a small cart that I used to move the groceries from the car up to the condo. Overall a very enjoyable place to stay. Would highly recommend this property.

Aston Kaanapali grounds are lovely. Room is spacious and comfortable. Close to restaurants and shops.

We had a great stay, they were very flexible with our schedule and very responsive.

This property was amazing and so well cared for. The owner made check in a breeze, and the property is pristine! We had all of the amenities we needed and more! I stayed her with my husband and toddler and we utilized the pull out sofa and master bedroom. Washer and dryer and full kitchen in the room was a huge bonus for us! The resort the property was located in was also top notch. We played at the pool daily, and also enjoyed the beach! I would definitely recommend this place. I also would love to come back again! We stayed at another property down the street on our last day; it had very similar amenities listed, and this one was far and beyond the better stay!

I'd say this is a solid 4.5 stars.Pros:Great location! We wanted to stay in Kaanapali, and this being on the northern side we were able to explore more of the beaches up north. It also was just a short drive from our favorite restaurant, Leilani's.The condo was plenty big for 2 young kids (who slept on the pull-out sofa) and 2 adults. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the gadgets and utensils we could have wanted.Bedroom bed was incredibly comfortable! Kudos for picking out an awesome mattress.Pool was fantastic! Hot tub was great too. Kids and adults love both. Honestly, it's what sold us on the condo. Could spend a week at the pool if you want to.Communication was smooth and check-in and check-out was effortless!Cons: There was no beach directly in front of the condo. During the winter months, the waves are so high that the beach is non-existent. We did utilize the beach just down the way, which wasn't really a big deal to walk a little further. But just know the pictures of the beach are during summertime, not the winter months.Ants. We've been to Maui 4x and this is the worst problem with ants we've had. We stored all food in the fridge and the containers they provided. We took the trash out frequently too. But seriously, they were running all over the counters, floors, bathroom, etc. Seemed like I would always find ants when returning to the condo and we just smashed them as we saw them. (I understand critters are common in Hawaii - we dealt with cockroaches our last trip to Kauai. But just want to throw this out there going in so others are aware.)No bathroom fan. The kitchen has been updated but the bathroom could have used a fan during the renovation. With 2 adults and 2 kids and just 1 bathroom, the fan would have been nice.Overall it was a good experience, and good value for the money.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Kaanapali Shores unit 622! We are frequent travelers who appreciate cleanliness, spaciousness, location, and amenities. This unit met and exceeded our expectations across the board. It was extremely well appointed and had everything we needed to feel at home. The bottle of wine in welcome basket was a nice touch! Waking up to a breathtaking view of Molokai was perfect ♥️

Easy stay at this place in Kaanapali, great pool and great neighborhood to relax and enjoy Maui's warm beachy side without too much drive.

Everything was great! The only thing I would improve is the lamp at the dinning table area was not working but that is a minor issue that could most likely be fixed in 5 min. Everything else was excellent!!!

Our owners sent detailed information regarding how to get there, the check in process and how to access the property. We had a lovely welcome basket and found plenty of beach equipment in a wonderful, spacious unit. From the balcony, the ocean could be seen. Restaurant serves great food, We will definitely be back!
