Good food, great staff

Room is getting a little tired looking, but everything worked ok

This hotel is honestly one of the worst i have stayed in. There was masking tape around an area of carpet, we wondered why this was there. It turned out, there was no floor board under the carpet, so you could of fell through the floor. The bathroom skylight leaked, and the bathroom carpet was soaked. The bedroom door did not always lock, so anyone could of walked into our room. We went down for breakfast, there was no member of staff around. We looked at the options, there was a couple of rock hard croissants , lukewarm yogurts, or a choice of 3 types of cereal. It should of included the option for a Full Cooked Breakfast. But no stadd around to assist. At check out nobody about again.,

Nothing, the place needs a complete renovation.

Het hotel zelf erg schoon, grote kamer, mooie gezellig tuin, Goed ontbijt, goede bedden. Goed avond eten .. Lagen aan een rustige kant.

Eigelijk weinig, je hoor je lopen in de kamer door het hout maar daar is het een oud gebouw voor, Alleen in tuin veel kapot glas dat mag worden opgeruimd.

Cosy bedroom

Tried to order dinner but they answered that the cuisine had just closed, and they didn't even propose me to a small chips or something, it was like 7pm on a Sunday and no option available. The shower made a noise during the night (water).

The bed was exceptionally comfy

The electrics were unsafe. When turning on night light but then using main switch it turned the side light off. The wiring was flashing so for safety did not use the lights. Shower cubicle was very small and claustrophobic

Room clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Good location.

There are no plastic or glass beakers for drinking water in the room. Only small tea cups to hold liquids.

Hotel in a great location for the Channel Tunnel with a nice bar and good food. Friendly staff that made you feel welcome. Rooms were basic but clean and had all that was required including tea, coffe and buscuits. Comfortable bed and a good nights sleep. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Plenty of parking

Lovely hotel set in lovely grounds.

The manager was courteous and helpful. He allocated a room away from traffic noise. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a pleasant view from the window of flowering Whitebeam trees.

While traffic noise could not be heard from the room, there was a loud humming noise all through the night, which I believe must have been the refrigeration plant. The bedside lamp did not work. The carpets were shabby. The hotel was unable to supply blankets instead of a duvet. I had to take my own, which would have been a problem if I had travelled by train. I had difficulty finding the hotel. The map did not show clearly the actual location. The hotel is hidden behind trees at a roundabout. A description as well as the map would have been helpful.

Staff were helpful and bar staff especially recommended drinks for my partner as they had run out of Archers.

On theSunday evening the carvery had stopped and nothing was said at check-in about a time and other menu although the staff were helpful, was pretty basic. Our room was right by stairs so noise all night and all could was people above us, all night. Bar closed at 10 Sunday night and then went to go breakfast before check out and haven't been told any times and they'd finished, sadly very disappointed

Staff were friendly, nice people.

Room was so dirty , dust everywhere, broken light switches, cobs around tv and table. At night you can here like some scratches coming from inside the wall like mices crawling around. When i took a shower i notice drain was clogged up . Mold and dirty around windows. Hair blower had his last checks in 2007. Restaurant was dirty as well . Will not go back there soon .
