The lookout was remote but an easy walk into town, very dog friendly and the host family were absolutely lovely. Hot tub was accessible at all times of day or night. Kitchen was well equipped, we made a roast on our first evening accompanied by a bottle of bubbly very kindly gifted by the hosts. The bed was ridiculously big and super comfy. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Really comfortable & spacious property with lovely hot tub in private space about 30m away (crocs & gowns provided). Enjoyed watching the stars! Well equipped kitchen. Nice to be left some welcome provisions (eggs, loaf, butter, tea, sugar & coffee) as well as some items like sunflower oil, salt. Good sleep on comfortable bed in quiet location. TV has Netflix & Amazon if you have passwords from your own subscriptions. Host was friendly & helpful without being intrusive. Property was clean & tidy

The owner watched us in hot tub late at night and walked into our room whilst we were sleeping she then moaned that we didn’t make the bed when we left but I thought it would be getting washed so didn’t if you are looking for privacy this is a no no

Lovely property and owners. Beautiful views over the countryside especially from the hot tub. Hot tub was really nice even in the rain. The bed was very comfortable. Really clean, tidy and well equipped. Croissants left for us togther with milk, butter, tea and coffee. Walking distance into the town.

Purely a personal thing but though the bed was great for a good night's sleep, we prefer a little firmer. I would not let that stop me staying again though. In fact we have already booked.

The place and its surroundings were absolutely beautiful, it would be a fabulous place to stay for a few days, week or so. Unfortunately it was just an overnight stopover for me so I couldn’t make the most of the facilities.

The bed was comfy and the accommodation was spacious.
The home baked bread on arrival was lovely.
The owners children were playing outside as children do, however, the owner apologised for their noise and gifted us a bottle of wine 😇 very thoughtful.

Very spacious, well equipped, good area to safely exercise the dogs, comfortable, well presented, enormous bed. Scrumptious homemade bread and fresh eggs. The dogs were welcome.
We got a bit stressed coming in and out with the dogs wet muddy feet on the light coloured bedroom carpet !

Absolutely amazing location,the views are amazing. The look out is really nicely decorated and everything you need! Hot tub is a bonus. Just sitting in the chairs looking out at the views,we had rain and sun and even both were amazing views. Literally everything about this little getaway is amazing. We can't wait to come back! Lizzi was really friendly,explained everything then left us too it. Nothing was too much to ask for. X

We really loved this property and its location. Very private location with amazing views but town only a few mins drive away or even walk!
It was lovely to meet Lizi the owner who was very helpful from theminute we booked up to when we left. . Really good value for money. Hot tub was very private and we loved that. Also must mention the tasty loaf of bread waiting for us on the table with butter, eggs and milk in the fridge. Very nice touch.
Would definitely stay here again.

The property is situated just outside of a small friendly town, in the beautiful countryside of Devon. The house itself is stunning, with incredible views from the both the inside & the hot tub.
We were greeted by Lizi, who was lovely and gave us a quick tour of the accommodation as well as providing fresh bread, butter, eggs etc.
We will absolutely love to visit again!

Loved absolutely everything! Wonderful place, Lizi was a fantastic host - so helpful and friendly. Property exceptionally clean, very warm and comfy, beautiful location and amazing hot tub which we enjoyed very much. Close to good hiking/ exploring spots. Would definitely recommend and happily come back again. We had our golden retriever with us who also loved it. Thank you Lizi!
Also Lizi has a talented sister-in-law who makes beautiful art :)
