We had a great time

Very convenient to services, restaurants, beach. Great for families with young children. Equipped with beach toys, kids bikes, 2 pack-n-play infant beds, loads of sleeping options. It was actually much roomier than it appears in the photos.

Perfect location. We felt safe our entire stay. Walked to the beach and restaurants every day. The home is comfortable, plenty of space for 7 people. Thank you we will stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this Vacasa-VRBO It was larger than expected, clean, and well furnished. We experienced almost no outside noise, but the upper oven and dryer were both loud when in use. We brought our two grandchildren (1 & 3 years old) along, as well as their parents. For these kids, it was wonderful that there were two port-a-cribs, plastic table ware which the kids could not break, a beach wagon for hauling kids and supplies the few short blocks to a very nice beach, sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. The two main bedrooms were both large with king-size beds, TVs, walk-in closests, double sinks, tubs, and showers. The other bedroom was much smaller with a queen bed. In addition, there were two Murphy-beds and two hide-a-beds available. The kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, tableware, spices, olive oil, etc. A little short of toilet paper, and clothes-washing pods for our 6 day stay. It was a short walk to a hoping "downtown" area with lots of food choices and shoping.

Very convenient to the pier! Clean and spacious house with good amenities. Vacasa was very responsive to the questions that we had. Excellent communication. Would stay here again.

The location is great, with a short walk to the beach and down town ocean side. The pull out beds were terrible, so we had to use air mattresses for adults. It took me awhile to get ahold of someone about the issue. The kitchen is minimally stocked and could use some better pots/pans. The sheet pans were rusty. We had to buy toilet paper during our stay. When I finally got ahold of somebody, they brought an extra air mattress which was a nice gesture.

Wonderful home, very clean and comfortable. Great location, close to beach and all kinds of eateries. We will definitely book this home again when we come back to Oceanside.

Loved the location and the size of the house. Kitchen was well stocked. Couches were uncomfortable, bedding was average. Super clean

Super easy check-in, amenities were great, and the location is superb. Everything is just a short walk away!!

The stay was great and we enjoyed it. The property was a little dirty and not as well equipped as we expected but we made the best of it and still enjoyed the stay. The location was fantastic and we enjoyed walking to the beach every day.

Clean home. Nice kitchen and bedrooms great size. Slept so well.

The house infrastructure was beautiful very close to the beach. I didn’t spend allot time at the home on my first two because my grandson was graduating Marine boot camp. The furniture was a little worn, had minor issues with the TV and the worst part we discovered a dirty sanitary pad in one of the main bathroom drawers as well blood spots on the sheets in the front main bedroom. I was a little disappointed as I have a few ArnBs myself and pride on the end user experience.

My wife and I go to San Diego 1-3 times a year. Typically we stay at a Marriott downtown San Diego or up in Oceanside. We saw on the Marriott website the "Homes and Villas" and thought we would give it a try. I want to start by saying the home we selected and stayed in was AWESOME! It was clean, well stocked for cooking meals along with all amenities were great. However, our experience with Vacasa was extremely poor and not up to what I have ever experienced with Marriott. Our hopes in using "Marriott Homes and Villas" was to stay in a home but get the same level of support and experience as we do with Marriott. While the initial reservation was simple, any and all follow up was painful. Vacasa is slow to respond and have a "hands off" approach to managing their guests. Due to the poor level of service we will never use "Marriott Homes and Villas" again from Marriott, nor will we ever use Vacasa again. We will chose a company such as VRBO or AirBnB instead as we have MUCH BETTER experiences with these two companies. It also doesn't show Marriott in a good light that the reservation and information for the stay are not showing on my "Recent Activity". I have no way to pull the receipt for this stay from the Marriott website. Everything considered, I would give my experience of Vacasa and "Marriott Homes and Villas" an F. This is not meet my expectations for service from Marriott that I have come to trust and enjoy.

Couple block straight to beach, clean, spacious and worked very well for us. TVs were a bit small in the bedrooms but didnt need them since we only used the bedrooms for sleeping.

Size and location were great

It was a nice area. We would rent again.

A large unit with plenty of space in bedrooms and living areas. Terrific location, close to restaurants and beach. Unit was clean but dated with a few maintenance items that needed attention, but nothing that interfered with our enjoyment of our time together

Too much noise!

This house was perfect for our group of teenagers! They had a blast thank you for sharing your home with us!

This unit was really good size. Every room had plenty of space. Bathrooms were decent sized. The family room and kitchen together were decent size for all of us to sit and hang out together. Garage was big enough for the van we rented( not all are), and we had no issues with the garage door opener. Unit had Sand toys and boogie boards and little bikes some of which we made use of. We were very pleased with this unit. It served us well. 3 1/2 short blocks to the beach was a big benefit, and having Pappys liquor and groceries right across the street was also a big plus.

Great place with close beach access. It’s probably best for families with older children. Front door doesn’t lock from the inside and our toddler kept opening the door. Overall, beautiful house with lots of space!

We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the property. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of space to spread out. The beach is an easy 5 minute walk from the house. Plenty of restaurants, ice cream etc. a short walk away. Decent area overall. Market right across the street which was very convenient when we needed anything. There is a bell for the train that goes off often but you can only hear it from one of the bedrooms. There were several homeless people walking around the area but no real issues. Overall a great stay! There was a pack-n-play available for use if you have small kids. We bought one when we got there as we didn't know if one was provided. Fortunately we were able to return it.
