Adorable little apartment. Perfect location..steps away from the beach and walking distance to all the great restaurants and shops. Highly recommended The Shack and Joseph’s by the Sea.

Great location next to the beach! Kitchen was small- with a family of five we try to do a majority of our own cooking. A smaller kitchen encouraged us to patronize local restaurants, but the refrigerator allowed me to cook in advance, and bring food and snacks for the family. Convenient store, located less than an eighth of a mile up the street, access to beach, chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels made going to the beach, more fun and less work. Great picnic beach area on lower unit deck/porch- our major concern was the air conditioning unit on the second floor above us, not being tethered to the house, and the potential risk for falling out the window onto somebody below- we moved the picnic bench to the right side of the porch for more safety. The window in the bedroom with two twin beds does not lock and looks as though it was a replacement window that measured too big for the opening. I would encourage putting a stick or some object in the window to prevent somebody being able to open it from the outside into the children's room. Dehumidifiers, AC, and fan worked well- and made the share quality comfortable. The pull out couch was great- but didn't allow for a movie night for parents if the kids were using the pull out (maybe put the/ a TV on the wall in the larger bedroom...). Overall- excellent for a beach getaway!

We had a lovely stay at this beach side house, just a minutes walk from the beach. The host is lovely and extremely responsive. The house itself is very basic, and a few small repairs are needed (including the blinds in one of the bedrooms). Overall, we had a lovely stay and the location is spectacular, but felt that the house itself was a bit pricey, given how basic it was.

A perfect stop for the beginning of our Maine vacation-the house was charming and so close to the beach. And within walking distance of good eateries - definitely recommend

Perfect size lil' cottage condo for a small group of 2-4 especially if planning on spending most of your time on the beach or up at the Orchard. It was just my teenage daughter & I so it was perfect amount of space for us to be able to chill & relax without feeling on top of each other. If you are a larger person, the shower may feel a bit claustrophobic but it gets the job done with plenty of hot water. Towels, toiletries, toilet paper, paper towels were supplied as were beach chairs/beach umbrellas for the beach. Beds were super comfy (brand new, felt like Temperpedics) as were the brand new couches with plenty of support for this aging mama's back lol...only thing I would recommend is bring a mat for your feet for on the inside of the door to help trap more sand coming off your feet from the beach. It's a good 1st world problem to have!😎 I didn't want to bring sand up on the couch or beds since brand new so I was freak about trying to keep our feet clean. Decent size fridge/freezer, we didn't cook but did use the microwave. The property manager was super friendly & helpful!

Steps from the beach and delicious meals at Tammy Lynn’s restaurant. Close to town to either walk or drive. We had a wonderful time!

It was the perfect location. Everything was great. The shower head was the only issue just needs changed because it drips... I would definitely stay again and have referred to many friends

If you are looking to stay a quaint beach home then this is the place for you. This property is located steps from the beach with a “family neighborhood” feel. When we arrived, we faced a few issues with the rental place. The first one was the front door did not lock and second one was the hot water handle was broken off. When you get there you should do a walk through. The property manager was very quick to respond to these issues and rectified them by the next day. It’s a 10 minute walk to the pier which has excellent food and tons of entertainment for the whole family . I would recommend this place to anybody that wants to have close proximity to the beach and pier.

We were very happy with the location. Literally steps from the beach and a 10 minute walk to the Playland and the Pier. The host, Isiah always got back to me in minutes every time I messaged him with a question. The place was small, but fit all 5 of us. There was a bit of a strange smell in the place, but it was clean.

We never got an email about how to receive keys. We couldn’t get in contact with the owner for a few hours. The place was NOT cleaned at all from previous renters (Covid19 concerns and gross). Unit was not the unit we rented. We couldn’t stay. We HAD to pack up and leave with our young kids. VRBO has not refunded us the fees.

We had an amazing time. Great little wave with a surf rental shop across the street!

Spent the night here while heading home. Beach is 60 feet away. Great place to recharge.

Very close easy walk to the beach and lots of shops and entertainment. Everything you need for a beach stay and my whole family also really enjoyed the front porch. Definitely hope to be back

This is a great spot at OOB. Literally steps from the beach, short walk to the town center, amusement park and pier, and lots of food spots close by. We traveled with our 2 and 5 year old and didn’t use our car or stroller the whole trip. Next door is a little burger and hot dog stand so you don’t even need to pack a lunch when you’re at the beach for the day. The unit itself is no frills, which is what we were looking for. (No knickknacks for our children to potentially break) However there is a generous sized porch with picnic table that is nice to sit and eat on. There is one allotted parking space. We only had one car, so this was not an issue. About a block up the street there is an inexpensive paid parking lot that could be used for additional vehicles. In the mornings we walked about a half mile up the street to Elevate Cafe for coffee and cinnamon rolls. Great little spot with a yoga studio too! The only cons we experienced: 1) it’s a downstairs unit in a subdivided house so we found it could be noisy in the middle of the night when the upstairs neighbors came home. (There was also open use of marijuana on the property, which was fine with us, but I know that’s not everyone’s cup of tea especially if you are traveling with your children) 2) The bathroom has no ventilation and there is an odor that may be an issue for someone with a sensitive nose. (Hopefully the cleaning crew can figure that out.) That said, for the price and amazing location, overall we were very happy and had a memorable trip.
