We were not able to communicate easily with host

-No elevator -No air conditioning just a fan

There was no breakfast, but the bakeries are nearby

Few streets away from Angers high street. comfortable bed. no AC but has a fan. Also has a coffee machine

The block of apartments isn’t the best looking. the number of floors to this room should be clearly stated when booking, too much steps

The apartment was clean, comfortable, had plenty of amenities, great shower, perfect location. Good value for money and communication with hosts was seamless!

The apartment is centrally located, so one is in the heart of Angers. There is immediate access to a wide range of eating establishments, and public transport like buses and trams are just a few minutes' walk from the apartment. The building that houses the apartment is very old, but the apartment itself is modern with a small kitchen/dining area and a bedroom and bathroom. The city itself is beautiful and full of history and elegant charm. There is a botanical garden outside of Angers which I loved. It features both rare and common plants and flowers, but they lay everything out so beautifully in elaborate gardens that are an absolute pleasure to walk through. In the city itself, there are many museums; the museum of fine arts was the most impressive, but some of the smaller ones were set in beautiful old buildings which were as beautiful as any of the artworks. In the heart of the city is the 9th century castle, Le Château d'Angers, it sits beside the Loire river and dates from the 9th century. In its day, the castle was taught to be impenetrable with its outer walls over three metres thick. Walking through the old hallways and visiting the seventeen towers is like stepping back in time.

The streets around the apartment were very noisy on some nights. This is because the apartment is right at the centre of the area where all of the main restaurants and bars are located. If you are used to city life this should not be a problem, but I come from a house in the country and found it impossible to sleep on Thursday and Friday nights until well into the small hours of the morning. The hosts left keys out, but the apartment was difficult to find on the first night. After using the outside code we found ourselves in a dark courtyard and only found the door because someone came out of it. I also found it very difficult to figure out where we left our trash. I sent some messages to the hosts which received no response. This was a little frustrating, but overall, these were minor things and the apartment is well maintained and professionally managed.
