What's not too like!

Thought the room we had booked was with a large double bed but it was a double. Saying that, it wouldn't put us off staying here again as everything is top notch including staff!

Everything was outstanding except the check in experience! Beautiful room, scenic view, absolutely stunning! Will stay here again no doubt!

Check in was horrendous. I had not received a check in link, had to call in, then the link was provided but the system still did not show an option for check in. Had to call 3 times. Now we know how this works, it will be easy next time. My recommendation is really to review the process, not everyone has a smartphone, not everyone is tech savvy or has time and patience for this. Saying that, our stay was fantastic and even this situation is not impacting the rating!

Great location, very clean room and building. The room was a lovely size also the bathroom and shower. Good decoration and design throughout. Everything that you need was available in the room from a kettle, nice big mugs for hot drinks and good size glasses for cold drinks. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk was all provided and presented well including a coffee machine and pods. A mini fridge was also in the room for you to put your own drinks to chill. Toiletries and Towels provided with a nice added touch of a chocolate placed on the top of the towel bundle. Very easy access to the building with great communication from the hotel communication teams. Amazing views across the pier and sea and plenty of local bars, restaurants and cafes along the promenade. I was very impressed with the arrangements the hotel have got with delivery services from local restaurants below, all easily ordered and brought upto you in the room or alternatively you could go to any of the restaurants with a pre booking or walk in. Links to and from the area was quick and very reasonable priced for taxis and train. I will definitely be returning and highly recommending this place, it's perfect not just to stay at a hotel but a nice relaxing get away from the everyday.

Unfortunately there is no parking facility available, There is parking spaces along the promenade at a max of 2hrs up until 7pm, so ideal if your checking in at 5pm you will be ok until the following morning to check out. There are streets in and around the area where you can park but it's not ideal when walking back with luggage as it is all built up on a steep hill.

Staying somewhere I've stayed many times before. It's comfortable and, unusually for apartments/hotels most of the rooms have a bath.

Sometimes the shower water temperature fluctuates - so you have a shot of really hot water (but that doesn't last for long)

The room was perfect and exactly like the photos, lots of complimentary items upon arrival such as tea, coffee, fridge with bottled water, toiletries etc. The sea view from our room was lovely so it was nice to sit at the table by the window to have tea and relax. The bed room and bathroom stayed nice and warm even with the windows open and we used the fan provided even in winter as it was so toasty. The shower and bath was great, the cleaning staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy and the bed was so comfortable with all the cushions and extra blankets. Our room at the top felt quite far away from other guests as well which made us feel like we were the only ones staying there as it was very quiet even though there were other people there too. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be returning, the apartment suites looked lovely too so it would be nice to try them next time! The garden looked very pretty all lit up so the tables will he nice to sit in when the weathers a bit warmer.

The only problem we had was the WIFI wasn’t very good on the top floor so we had to connect the TV to our mobile hotspot to watch BBC IPlayer, however this wasn’t a major issue as we could still watch normal TV channels too.

It was great, very clean. Staff were great. Made our first visit to Wales enjoyable.

Amazing location. Sea view room was absolutely wonderful. Comfortable with great facilities. Lots of nice touches like fridge, coffee maker and lovely crisp bedding. Quality lamps and furniture. Lovely fresh feel to the room and huge bright bathroom.

Room was huge but felt furniture was badly placed (room 8) had to lean into a deep alcove to use coffee machine and kettle. Really needs a comfortable sofa in the room was just the bed and two low small chairs.

Being right on the beach front gave us stunning views and easy access for walks The apartment was well presented and very clean .... the staff were very friendly.

The view from our window was amazing. Easy to locate keys and entry. Nicely decorated. Location fantastic and so close to Cardiff.

My only issue was the Sink in the bathroom! Far too small to wash and shave in..

We stayed in two rooms apparently because two separate bookings couldn’t keep us in the same room. The attic room had a huge bathroom but the room was quite claustrophobic and it was extremely HOT throughout the Hotel (this was end Sept can only imagine how hot it would be in summer). Advertising should be much clearer that the free parking on the seafront is only available during specific hours - I felt mislead.

We had an attic room (rm8), layout and design was exceptional. Superb view over the bay. Huge bathroom. I've paid more for less at other 4 star hotels. Well serviced.

There's nothing I didn't like here, my partner mentioned a slight draught from the sash window, but we did have a storm that night. The curtains took care if the draught.

Parking isn’t ideal - there are work arounds but being able to park close to the hotel would be the icing on a very good cake

The location is great and the sea views were fantastic. It was a very comfortable room, nicely furnished.

I hadn't realised there was no breakfast facilities, but there are plenty of places to eat on the esplanade.

.Loved everything. Spotlessly clean. Excellent location. Room had everything you needed at a sensible room rate. I travel weekly and this is in the top 3 of places I've stayed.

Very nice and comfortable rooms, got absolutely everything you need, including a coffee machine just like home, I sat having an espresso looking out to sea, what more could you want.
