If all you are interested is the view, then you are in the right place; however, that is the only positive thing I can say about the apartment. The furnishings showed up very well in the listing pictures it is true; but the kitchen was poorly furnished--only one fork and only a serving spoon with which to eat, no frying pan of any kind, We could only get cold water out of the bathroom sink. Did not take a shower there because host advised that they did not furnish towels. Who wants to stay somewhere for two days & nights without even a towel to dry hands. Must climb 44 concrete steps to reach front door. Front and back yards are overgrown and littered. Discarded broken chair was outside in the weeds by the entry door. We were so uncomfortable there, we booked another place to stay after only one night and should have left the first night. There were reviews on VRBO for this same property which were more accurate than those shown on Booking.com. Am surprised that this property was listed here. Obviously, no outside photos were submitted.

good location for a stopover on our way to the holiday great view

It looked like a lot of effort and thought had gone into decorating the property but unfortunately it hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived so our stay was very unpleasant. There wasn’t fresh bedding and we had to sweep the floors before the children could safely play. The owner did give us a partial refund after contacting them.

Place was quite dirty, wanted to have a shower but was cracked and looked unsafe. Huge amount of steps leading up to the property which isn’t mentioned. Wanted to hang up clothes but wardrobes were stuffed with rubbish

You house is located in a run down council estate in Port Glasgow. The exterior of the house is in poor condition and the doorway was littered with cigarette butts. The window frames and bathroom were covered in mould and all the windows were opened with air freshener sprayed to mask the disgusting smell of the property on arrival. This property wasn't safe or clean enough for a young family to stay there so we booked elsewhere and refused a refund

It was close to a location we were visiting and the view was lovely

The area wasn’t the nicest and the facilities were not as expected. The shower would go from scalding hot to freezing cold back and forth throughout a shower but then the bathroom tap wouldn’t go hot at all. There was an odd, musty type smell which explains why there was lots of air freshener and all the windows were wide open when we arrived. There were dirty marks on the doors and damage to the shower and some areas of the property too. It was fine to rest our heads for the night although we did try to get somewhere else when we arrived but didn’t manage. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be returning! Not easily accessible as lots of stairs to get entrance to the property and parking is on the narrow street where you have to fully mount the curb and squeeze to get out the car.

Amazing views , great value for money, very comfortable beds/couch and a well decorated house, you get a very homely feeling once inside . Apart from that the owner was very friendly. Definitely a five star for this property. Would love to go and stay here again.

The view was amazing Could not fault this accommodation!!  After travelling from London I had a swift and easy check in - the host was nothing but helpful with any questions I had places to go how to get there. Everything that was explained in the description was exactly how the property was!! it was very clean like spotless I didn't understand what negative reviews says this property is dirty as it was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed  and the view was absolutely beautiful which was a extra bonus for the gem of a property..for what we paid I was amazed as properties near by was alot more expensive, it genuinely felt like a home from home! I will defo be back!!

tried from the friday to get hold of the host and didnt respond to my voicemail, missed calls or texts until around 8pm on th eday we arrived. shower didnt work properly, no hot water in the sinks, no towels. worryingly no smoke alarm or carbon monoxide alarms, which i would have thought we compulsory on rented accomodation. stairs and access to accomodation is steep and on un even ground.

The view was very nice. But unfortunately it was just one good thing.

It seemed that house wasn't cleaned at all. Kitchen facility was very poor 😢 and we really missed towels.

The view, nothing else but definitely not worth the rest of the things you have to put up with.

The flat was dirty, the doors were so noisy that you couldn't go toilet in the night without waking up everyone else, the kitchen had poor equipment, not even a knife to cut cheese or bread. There was no lamp next to the beds because there were no plugs and nobody really thoughts to put an extension, there was a dirty towel for 3 guests, nowhere to hang your clothes in the bathroom or your jackets in the entire house.. There was a wardrobe in the bedroom supposedly for your clothes but it was full of dirty bed sheets, pillow cases or duvet cover..whatever it was i'm afraid it might be the place from where our bed was made. It was very uncomfortable and we couldn't wait to leave really, which is not the way to feel about your holiday. The host provided absolutely no guidance, not for the WiFi, not for the collection of the keys or how to leave the flat..until i reached out to him on both occasions. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere more comfortable, cleaner and avoid the stress, it was a really bad experience, i don't think i have stayed anywhere else so bad as this one.

The location is completely shady and very dirty. The main entrance is completely covered in weeds and full of algae over the stairs. The road is very narrow and feels like very scary during night.

unfortunately due to a lack of cleanliness and serious mould issues we were unable to stay at the property. the only good thing is we got a full refund. After the owner tried to charge us for the cleaner! what a joke

strong smell of bleach trying to mask other issues, mould with growing fur in bedrooms all over walls, around windows and poorly fitted skirtings. there is carpet laid on top of carpet with coat hangers in between the and what looked like blood splattered on walls and surfaces. The steps leading up to the property are very steep and uneven and the patio area is a mess at best and a safety risk at worst! The list is endless. We we also charged a premium for having a baby even though there were absolutely no provisions provided at the property. All this after a 10 hour drive with a baby and resulting in us having to find last minute alternative accommodation on a Friday night.

The flat was a very lovely clean cozy flat with a very beautiful view I could view all day!. The house is situated in a very friendly community with friendly neighbors. Unlike most service apartment, the host was very cheerful, helpful and easy to reach out to, plus he left lots of groceries so I didn't need to go out immediately to buy things, he made our stay very easy and was so considerate in my request to extend. It had cable TV and wifi so the kids were entertained. I'm looking forward to coming back for another quiet lovely holiday again . A place like home
