Прожили 8 прекрасных дней в отеле и с теплом вспоминаем это время. Приехали раннем утром, персонал встретил с прохладительными напитками и сразу отвёл в номер (без дополнительной оплаты!), но вид из номера не очень понравился, поэтому попросили заменить, показав на телефоне фото и эта просьба без лишних вопросов была выполнена. Уборка качественная, обновление гигиенических принадлежностей ежедневно, номер не большой, но все в хорошем состоянии. Питание полупансион по системе шведский стол : завтрак ( индийские блюда, вафли и панкейки, сосиски, яйца, фрукты, все стандартно, на ужин всегда гриль (курица, рыба, сыр, ананас), карри (овощи, рыба, курица), салаты и вкуснейшие десерты, но : на завтра есть фрукты, но нет свежих овощей, на ужине наоборот. Территория не большая, но очень зелёная, бассейн чистый, возле него бар с закусками и напитками (цены как в кафе на пляже). Отель расположен в тихом и спокойном месте, до моря 5 мин, пляж широкий и не многолюдный. Отдельная благодарность сотрудникам отеля, с каким теплом и заботой они относятся к каждому гостю, как быстро они выполняют все просьбы, всегда с улыбкой и в прекрасном настроении! Очень рады что провели свой отпуск в Fairfield 🧡

Nice location,pool , breakfast and behaviour of staff

BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT WITH PLENTY OF CHOICE. FRESH FRUIT (eg PAPAYA, MELON, PINEAPPLE}, SALADS, DIPS, CEREALS, NUTS, GRAINS ETC GOOD VARIETY OF BOTH WESTERN AND INDIAN BREAKFAST DISHES. PURIS AND PARATAS WERE SOFT AND FLUFFY AND VERY TASTY. OUR FAMILY OWN CHOICE ON MOST DAYS WAS BANANA WRAPPED IN PARATA OR CHAPATTI SPREAD WITH PEANUT BUTTER........YUMMY! RESTAURANT STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL, COURTEOUS AND ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO ASSIST. AND ALWAYS WITH LOVELY SMILES. SO WELL DONE TO THEM ALL!

THE RESTAURANT AC WAS A LITTLE TOO COLD AT TIMES FOR OUR OWN PERSONAL COMFORT, SO MOST OF OUR DRINKING AND DINING WAS DONE IN THE PATIO AREA WHICH WAS MORE COMFORTABLE. OCCASSIONAL BIRD DROPPINGS IN THE CENTRAL RECEPTION AREA. I ALSO DIDN'T LIKE THE FACT THAT OUTSIDE CABS/TAXIS (WHO WERE CHEAPER) WERE NOT ALWAYS PERMITTED TO DROP OFF OR PICK UP GUESTS STAYING AT THE HOTEL.

The staff were extremely friendly and the hotel was clean and in a great location to walk to the beach.

Lovely staff and pool/ pool bar. Clean, comfortable rooms and great location for the beach and the town.

Just trivial things really: not enough sun loungers or shade around the pool. Not much storage space or hangers in the room and small bath towels.

Nice music beside the pool. spread out property. Clean pool towels, plenty of water bottles. Food reasonably priced

Room size too small. taxi costs are very high - no options.

The people. I must say marriott management hire some of the most cheerful hospitable team. Dilrich, Aaron, felen, are some of the most charming people who's name I remember. Breakfast was fantastic with a great variety for all tastebuds. Room was clean and comfortable

2 small hiccup that I can let go Parking is an issue. Range of tea needs a change. Black, green and earl grey all were tasteless.

The attitude of the staff was fantastic, responsive and alert to customer needs. Extremely clean and very well maintained.

It doesn’t have its own beach

Everything. Velinson is a great example of hospitality. Sonam, the cheff is experienced and warm. Sonali, the pool side attendent is very welcoming.

Sun desk mattresses and canopy covers were not available resulting we couldn't enjoy the pool side. Durable and long lasting fabric should be used for mattresses etc.

There was a good choice for breakfast, and there was a choice of sitting in a nice cool air conditioned room, or outside where it was pleasantly warm. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the beach, so it is easy to head over there.

Air conditioning was necessary in the rooms, and it was too noisy for undisturbed sleep at night. If not on, the room became too hot. At times, there was too much noise late at night. Regarding breakfast, pastries were sometimes a bit stale. A nice egg counter, but it could do with a list of the items they can prepare for you. And the coffee was rather too strong for our taste. The restaurant would benefit from a self service area where you can get tea and coffee etc, rather than waiting for the staff to bring it to you.

Well situated near the beach and value for money

The Pool was not clean AC in the dinning was too high Too many items of food at Lunch and Dinner but the quality was not good hence have to improve in these area’s I think food at Marriot International at Mumbai Airport is much better As I know that everything is not perfect but there is room for improvement Thanks Anilkumar

Service was good.

The staff at this hotel are truly amazing. They are extremely hard working and will go out of their way to do anything for you. Such a pleasure to stay in a hotel with this attitude.

The size of the milk portions in the rooms (I had to put something down!)

Breakfast was excellent, staff were friendly, security was very good, some of the facilities like picnic basket and discount on F&B were worth mentioning.

A shuttle service between the hotel and Colva beach is desirable as transportation is a problem, hotel being located away from the nearby town. The bi cycles were not in good condition and the pool is mostly crowded with long strands of hair sometimes found floating.

1. We both enjoyed the FOOD - which was Excellent! There was a huge variety of dishes and items to suit every palate. This aspect of our stay was really beyond our expectations, Esp. the GOAN Food dishes / items. We expressed our compliments to the lady Goan Chef. 2. The Picnic Basket / Hamper was the other Good gesture. A very stylishly designed cane picnic basket, filled with Goodies was gifted to us during our stay. Really appreciated this.

1. Once we arrived at the hotel, we were disappointed that there were nothing of interest around. No shops nor restaurants. 2. At the check in counter / Reception, we were taken aback when we were told that our Meal Plan was only Complimentary Breakfast - when actually we had paid for daily Breakfast & Dinner to be included in our package! This was rectified( in the Hotel's System) once I showed them the confirmation I had received on my Mobile. 3 Local Transportation: was another issue. No private taxis nor autorickshaws were available anywhere near the hotel. There is a gang / group of private cars parked outside the hotel, who ferry you about ,but at exhorbitant rates. But the bad thing is that these drivers vehemenently oppose and prevent any other pvt. car or taxi from picking up passengers from the hotel. This is one reason we had to stay cloistered in the Hotel all day and could not do any sightseeing.

The property is beautiful, extremely clean and a few mins walk from the beach. The staff is exceptional! They fulfil every guest request within minutes and are always very polite. They also gave us treats like free laundry, a gorgeous picnic basket on one day and 20% off on food and drinks. Room service in food and drink was always delicious. The pool is big and beautifully maintained. Even the rooms are really well maintained. Their games room is also excellent for when it rains and we spent a lot of time there. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Just a tip for tourists - Hire a personal car-driver/scooter/car. Tourist taxis charge extremely high prices in Goa.
