Absolute paradise!! Incredible staff, gorgeous kayak ride in which we saw howler monkeys!! Gorgeous accommodations- will be back!!

La Finca is an absolute dream and we feel so fortunate that we booked here! The staff, the food, the grounds, the animals... everything was beautiful beyond our wildest expectations. Orlando was an outstanding host and bartender. He always welcomed us with a kind smile and made the best mojitos and piña coladas. We were especially pleasantly surprised by the incredible food both for breakfast (huevos revueltos, frutas frescas, arepa con queso) and dinner (a very comprehensive menu featuring Neapolitan pizzas, tacos, seafood). When we booked La Finca, we had no idea that the property is home to tons of beautiful animals including horses, turtles, chickens, macaws, and more! The wildlife was something very special that stood out to us at La Finca and the animals are clearly very well-cared for. This is a trip we will remember and we hope to return to La Finca!

The only thing that was less than ideal was the lack of hot water in the room due to a maintenance issue that could not be resolved promptly. Everything else was so wonderful that I was able to overlook this, though.

The non existing sound insulation in the rooms, you hear everything in the room next door. The stubborn management didnt allow us to stay in another room, even When the hôtel had an occupancy of 20%. If you know thé insulation is bad, out the guests far away of each other and not next to each other, this is no rocket science.

The rooms are amazing. Even better than the photos could indicate. Immaculate, stylish and beautiful. The pool is stunning and the staff friendly. There are animals and birds for the kids to see too, which is fun.

Minor point, the food is pricey for Colombia. They don't have an understanding of allergies and my daughter had a big allergic reaction to nut product in a dessert and we had to use an epipen. This was despite long conversations in Spanish about the allergy and being assured there were no nuts in the dessert.

everything! beautiful grounds, pool and room. the most beautiful hotel we stayed at in Colombia. excellent value for money. friendly ataff and not many bungalows so not overcrowded. hot showers, lovely toiletries, netflix on tv if you are bored. 100% recommend this place!

2 main thinggs we didn’t like were specific to our stay and probably won’t be relevant for anyone else: we were there for xmas eve and had to take their special dinner which was ok but not great and expensive for what you get at Colombian standards. We were also served everything so quickly that we didn’t really enjoy the evening - less than 1 minute between courses to digest ans enjoy our wine. Tip for the hotel: Europeans prefer to have 10-15 mins between courses rather than being served immediately. we had no water or wifi for the entire morning in our bungalow, apprently a cable was damaged somewhere and it took all morning to fix so we had to checkout without showering

The property is so stunning - set on a banana farm, I’ve never been anywhere like it. All the staff are really lovely and help you with anything you need.

You can get a bus from Santa Marta / other locations along the coast but it’s not the easiest location to reach. A taxi is probably the easiest to bring you door-to-door.

The place is exactly as in the pictures, beautiful, isolated and surrounded by nature. We arrived with a private driver that they recommended us which was excellent. We arrived during the week so it was almost empty and we could enjoy the place with calm and silence. The chef is really good and the personal in particular Orlando was very nice. Rooms were super clean.

Everything was perfect until the weekend when a group of 16 people arrived with 9 children that monopolized the pool, playing, screaming and making our last day an half not the great experience we were enjoying… of course is not La Finca’s fault that some people can’t respect others, however I’ll suggest in the future to restrict some of the children games outside the pool area, (I.e with football balls) so the other guests are not disturbed while eating and the employees safety is not on risk.

The property has a lot to explore, from the beautiful gardens to the many animals roaming around. The staff is great and attended to our every need. Our favorite spot was the upper deck with the hammocks.

The road to the property can be better, the drop from the main road is super steep and rocky broken asphalt. After that, it's not clear that you have to drive all the way to the end to enter, we got there after a rain shower which made the road super muddy and hard to drive. Only good thing once you pass the gates you forget all the bad because of the beautiful paradise you enter.

the trip was just perfect, the cocktails, the food, the accommodations and especially the people working there !

the grounds of this hotel are beautiful. Hidden in a sea of lush green trees and plants. it’s also home to some wildlife some peacocks. you felt very safe and contained. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Location wise meant there was a lot of mosquitoes my room was covered in so many. The room didn’t have a net and so this resulted in a lot of bites the next morning. Unfortunately there was no hot water so I had a cold shower and some of the sheets looked a little worn. The food was less to be desired and as a vegetarian options are extremely limited. my room was near the bar and it was extremely loud and I could hear all the other guest into the early hours of the morning. As this is so secluded you aren’t able to leave the property as there is nothing near by.
