The hostel was really nice. It had a really clear layout with a courtyard in the centre that had the restaurant and bar and was a really nice social area.

It could be a little bit loud at night as the rooms are around the courtyard area. But they have a designated quiet time after midnight, so it wasn’t too bad.

Nice interior, good location, easy to meet new people.

No air circulation or ventilation in rooms, extremely hot at night, unreliable shower temperature, woke up with bed bug bites one night (room 112, bed C), homeless guy near the entrance every night selling drugs.

Excellent staff, very helpful at any time. They propose a lot of activities like tours around the city or to hang out in the hostel (I did the free walking tour and the lotería night), it's a nice way to meet new people, and they have a WhatsApp group for the travellers to get in touch with each other.

Nothing special. The room was a little bit dusty but in general the structure is always clean. Towel rent is 60mxn, but it's fine.

Viajero is a super nice hostel with good breakfast, comfortable beds and a really nice social vibe. They offer nice classes (Yoga, Salsa,…) and day trips over the day (pyramids, watching a wrestling game,..). But the most amazing thing about this hostel is the staff! Everyone is super friendly and helpful, especially Pato supported me a lot, when my luggage was lost. She is amazing! So I can warmly recommend this place to everyone who is staying in Mexico City :)

Schönes, zentrales Hostel mit sehr bequemen Betten. Die Anlage ist insgesamt sauber, und es gibt genug Sitzgelegenheiten, sowohl drinnen als auch draußen. Die Mitarbeiter sind super nett :)

Social - a fantastic hostel to meet people. The hostel organised lots of activities, tours and games. Anyways, all the guests tend to gather in the courtyard in the mornings & evenings and are open to meeting new people. Staff - friendly, helpful, and cool. The breakfast was quite good and there was a rotating menu with multiple options each day.

A bit expensive, but if you want this high quality you gotta pay for it. My dorm room was a bit noisy - creaky floorboards and bathroom door. My dorm room was also right above the main courtyard, so the noise of chatter and music can be heard until it stops at about 23:00

Showers could get cold easily and town rental is an extra 60 pesos.

Tout était très bien, les lits sont confortables et bien isolés les uns des autres. Le lieu est beau et propre, il y a plein d’activités proposées, le personnel est gentil.

Comme souvent dans les auberges de jeunesses, c’est très bruyant. Les gens ne sont pas très respectueux dans les chambres et il y a de la musique assez forte toute la soirée jusqu’à 23h15. Donc si vous venez pour vous y reposez, partez du principe qu’il est difficile de dormir avant 23h30!

The location was perfect. The zocalo is only a couple of minutes from the hostel. I liked the privacy curtains and luggage storage space. There were lots of planned activities available as well. The bartender and kitchen staff were very personable and friendly. Also, the free welcome drink was greatly appreciated.

The only thing I disliked was the lack of social interaction with other travelers during my stay. This of course is no fault of the hostel.

Many activities to meet other people (not only around drinking as in many other hostels). Female dorm is very spacious. Staff is very kind, they assisted me and called my airline to cancel my flight. There’s a very good vibe in this hostel, people are very open and welcoming. Feels very relaxing.

The area didn’t feel the safest as a woman but during the day it was fine.

Cette auberge est impeccable! C'est propre et bien situé dans le Centro Historico. Le personnel est sympathique, humain et accomodant. Le lit en dortoir est le plus confortable que je connaisse selon mes expériences en auberge de jeunesse: vrai matelas et grosse douillette comme à la maison. Les rideaux d'intimité sont fantastiques. La salle de bain privative a une douche avec de l'eau chaude et une pression excellente. L'internet est rapide et stable, et j'ai apprécié la petite salle de co-working. La salle de détente a des sofas tellement confortables! Mon endroit préféré était le patio, qui est propice aux rencontres. L'auberge propose des activités quotidiennes intéressantes. La nourriture du restaurant est bonne et les portions sont adéquates. Je me suis sentie en sécurité en tout temps. Je recommande cet établissement à 1000% pour les voyageurs seuls et les couples! J'ai dû interrompre mon voyage pour une urgence familiale, mais j'y retournerai très certainement à mon prochain passage à CDMX. Merci Viajero!!

La salle de bain privative aurait pu être plus propre. Aussi, il n'y avait pas de tapis de sortie de bain. Le prix de la nourriture et des boissons est un peu cher, mais j'ai remarqué que c'était ainsi dans tout le secteur.

Las camas muy cómodas.

En invierno hace frío y no había un lugar para quedarse y estar calentitos ya que las zonas en común son abiertas al aire libre. Por lo tanto si piensan trabajar desde el hostel no les recomiendo este hostel por estás épocas.

El Hostel es un buen espacio para conocer, socializar y hasta para practicar su inglés, pues el público visitante es en mayor medida extranjeros, muy amigables por cierto.

Great location, we got a private double room and it was lovely and very spacious, breakfast was good and the selection of fresh drinks they had on offer were great, they also had free tea and coffee available. We arrived about 6am and as we booked the room from the night before we were able to get straight into our room and the reception is 24hr. The bathrooms were very clean and the free activities they put on were great, ie; yoga and salsa lessons.

Great Hostel vibe. Staff all very friendly which is always a nice. Comfortable beds and pillows and bedding. Like that they have available drinking water.

Suppose the noise from fellow travellers staying in same room, some lack consideration for others trying to sleep having loud conversations in the drom room. Chats and socialising should be reserved for the social areas,and there was lots of nice social space.

I regret that I cannot give a full recommendation due to the staff not being the most welcoming. Each interaction with a staff member left me feeling that they were not very helpful, accommodating, or friendly. Navigating the city for various activities became a solo endeavor as I had to approach staff members with questions. Unfortunately, their responses were consistently brief and unhelpful, which posed challenges for a solo traveler in a foreign country. Even during an organized activity, the host failed to ensure everyone's participation or collect necessary information for a group chat, leaving me to navigate the city alone, especially concerning as a female solo traveler during nighttime. When seeking directions, the staff appeared indifferent to my exclusion from the trip. On another occasion, when expressing my interest in finding a coffee shop to work, I was surprised by the front desk person's response, essentially suggesting I move to Roma Norte if I wanted wifi coffee shops. This lack of understanding was unexpected. Despite these concerns, the hostel itself is charming and functional. However, cleanliness could be improved, and there's a need for better attention to details such as replenishing toilet paper. Despite reporting the issue to the front desk, it remained unaddressed. The food offered at the hostel could also use improvement – it tends to be dry and relatively expensive. Given the choice, I'd prefer to dine outside the hostel.

A cama do hostel é realmente muito confortável, a equipe que trabalha no Hostel é muito prestativa. O Desayuno é excelente! O Hostel tem agua e café Gratuitos, uma Delícia!

Os preços de Comida e Bebida no Hostel são muito caros, preço de Hoel, poderiam fazer preços mais acessíveis! A localização é muito Boa, mas durante a noite é importante ficar atento porque as ruas no Centro do México ficam muito Escuras.
