The room was exactly as pictured and described. Good amenities provided, I liked the toiletries selected. The host provided all the access details super promptly.

There was one small issue with the directions differing from the equipment, but the host seemed keen to improve and worked with me on suggestions to make the directions clearer for future guests.

Good wifi, good communication from hosts

Everything was squeaky which was disruptive in a 5 bedroom house full of people. Floors weren't very clean. Room needed curtains. It was nice and bright, which is great during the day, but makes it hard to sleep past sunrise

The location was clean.

There was no ventilation in the room that I stayed in. I woke up due to choking in my sleep from the amount of heat that built up into the room. There was a random AC in the closet and I couldn’t install it (even though I shouldn’t have to)because the window was too lose to hold it in place. It would have fallen three stories.

Next to a bus stop, nice shared house.

After receiving 3 emails per day between booking and check-in, to remind the "guests" of their "responsibilities" (house rules, online check-in, sending selfies, sending passport etc.), I arrived to a room that had not been cleaned from previous guest. Host was prompt to answer and sent a housekeeper within the hour. At arrival, she started yelling at me for falling asleep on the couch (red eye+ jetlag). It was the only time I saw the housekeeper whom only cleaned the bedroom. Shared spaces and floors had not been cleaned for a while (including the bathroom). I also mentioned on Monday that the fire alarm next to the bedroom was beeping due to a low battery and nobody had come to fix it by Friday.

No breakfast. The location was Okay. One eatery in close walking distance.

Wasn't sure if the cleaning people had finished up. There was items left in the dryer. We didn't have enough washcloths . My parents packed their own so that helped. The TV didn't work. Someone was supposed to come with batteries if they came it wasn't that so don't know it never worked. No free parking or parking permits for guests. We parked a mile away and paid for that.

House sleeps a lot of people, yet there is a dining table for only 4 people in a huge kitchen. Plus you're not allowed to eat in your room, so where do you eat? No A/C in common areas. Could have used simple necessary items like a toaster and a bigger coffee maker. Utensils in kitchen only enough for a party of 4. We rented the house for a group of 10. If you have a house for that many people, it should be able to accommodate all of them comfortably. Upon arrival, dishes were not done, dirty laundry still in hamper and they placed bath mat towels for use as bath towels.
