I was very surprised as soon as I walked into the lobby. The ambiance was wonderful, and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
The room was very clean and comfortable, and well insulated from road noise. Space was also very generous. The amenities provided were also as you would expect from a Mariott property (which is great!).
Bed was comfortable and definitely provided a good night's sleep.
A minor gripe but there was no swimming pool in the facility.

Double room - no windows
I was on the 2nd floor, gym upstairs, luckily i was out all day, only midnite i can hear some noise, seems tidying the gym probably but only for a short while.

The hotel is very pretty and I love the interior design. The room is also very spacious and very cozy. It was very clean, even the bathroom was spotless. The best part about Luma is that it is located very near to a lot of really nice eateries, apart from their own restaurant. There is Hinode, Kopi Ping, and Guan Kopitiam. Every day you can try different foods. The location is also very convenient to head to Imago Shopping Mall, Tanjung Aru Beach, Sutera Harbour, and the waterfront. Had a really amazing vacation here at Luma Hotel, Kota Kinabalu.
The parking here is a little bit expensive, but the staffs would help you as much as they can regarding this. So please reach out to the staffs here regarding parking arrangements. However, no worries as getting taxis (Grab or Maxim) is convenient here.

It was my first time to try boutique hotel.The room is very small not worth for the price,bed is not comfortable. In addition, house guest need to pay for the parking ,RM15.00 per day. Overall, I think is overpriced for the room and facilities

The place was very clean and spacious. The location was also convenient as its only a few minutes walk to local eateries/kopitiam and 24hr convenience stores! The staffs were very helpful throughout our stay, really appreciate it!
