Boiler was noisy during the night

Despite being a diddy little cottage, it has everything you would need and is actually very comfortable for 4 people to stay. The welcome hamper was a treat and a particular highlight was the cute little 3/4 bath. Everything was perfect for us to attend a wedding 5 minutes down the road. A great find!

We had a most wonderful stay, the cottage had everything we needed and retained it character. Lovely views from the window, an area for our dog to play and it really was a dog friendly accommodation with dog beds, feeding and water bowls. The bed was so comfortable and I enjoyed lighting the log fire, it kept the cottage cosy and toasty. We was greeted with a great welcome back - everything we needed for a full English breakfast and the host was so friendly and helpful. The kitchen was magnificent, everything was easy to use and I loved the butler sink.

I personally loved the bath but my Partner is over 6ft and had difficulty, but once in enjoyed soaking in the bubble bath !!! Even the bathroom had been beautifully designed and maintained the feel of the cottage.

Lovely, small, old style cottage, off the beaten track and in the middle of nowhere! With a nice kitchen, comfy beds and a really nice welcome basket on the first day!

Although the cottage is lovely, it might not be suitable for larger people, I'm quite tall and it was a bit of an issue with the low doors and also the very small bathroom.

Our stay at Putts Cottage was great. The cottage is tastefully furnished & traditional which makes it feel very homely. It was spotlessly clean & had all the facilities you would need. Stephanie was very helpful with all her advice & made us very welcome.

The track leading up to the cottage is uneven but once you remember where the dips are you can negotiate your car around them. We were fortunate that the conditions were dry but I would imagine that the drive would be difficult if the ground was saturated. I would not wish this to be a reflection on Stephanie as the state of the track is probably not her responsibility as there are other properties at the end of the track.
