Definitely on the beach. It was all the way on the end of jaco beach. I thought it was more central but Ubers and taxis are very inexpensive. Ver beautiful views and very quite. Very nice condo.

This is a great spot in Jaco. I am a resident here in CR and this is a perfect spot for friends or family who want to be close to the action but not right in the center of it. We stayed here over new years eve. The home has beautiful views angles perfectly for a sunset. Everything was clean, in place and all the staff from booking to check out were friendly and helpful. 5 ***** Estrellas

This property was awesome! Plenty of space and all the things you would need and expect to find. Patricia was terrific! She met us at the property and got us settled in with lots of local information. Beware the view from the balcony... makes it hard to get out of the chair!

Great views of the ocean off wonderful balcony and loved hearing the ocean roar during the night

The views of this unit are stunning. With excellent ocean and mountain views, it is easy to watch exotic birds like Jaco's famed Scarlet Macaws (red parrots with blue and yellow wings for U.S. folks) and pelicans flying in gorgeous formations. The condo has nice finishes and a attention-to-detail. Well appointed. While Costa Rica is safe, but I appreciated the guards situated on the beach and at the road, guarding the parking lot of the property. All of the property staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. :-) Forest is very communicative and sends great tips to make your stay easier. This end of the beach is really nice and far less crowed than some other spots in the middle. The property is situated on the far end of town, but it's easy to get to Jaco's main strip with a 4 minute car ride or a 15 minute walk along the beach.

Great location away from the hustle and bustle. A short/cheap taxi into the mess when you want/need it. Things you may like or may not like but it is good to know: 1) Property is protected by walls/gates/armed guards/video 2) Working girls are prohibited from joining you, this includes in-home massage services 3) the pool bar is not staffed, it is for your use. Like I said, you may or may not like any of these but you should know. I would stay here again ...

Tres Regalos was a wonderful resort!! The guards at the front and back entrances were super nice!! It was a quite resort, a great getaway!! Crocs next door had a non stop party and music on the weekend, but the weekdays were lazy!! We were a short walk or taxi ride to Jaco town!! We felt safe and had fabulous adventures that were close by!! We 4 wheeled, zip lined, deep sea fished and hiked!!! All the excursions were reasonable!! Costa Rica basic supplies, like groceries were expensive!!! I would definitely recommend the resort!! Forest, the owner, was very kind and very easy to work with!! He even set up our pick up and drop off accommodations !! It’s about a 90 min drive from the airport! Our driver Donald took us on a mini tour on the way to the resort!!

We stayed at this gorgeous condo for the month of November 2019. We have stayed at dozens of VRBO properties world-wide, and have never experienced a more informative and responsive host. The unit is exactly as described, and has stunning views from the large balcony. This is definitely the best end of the beach in terms of sand and surf! All furnishings are highly comfortable, rooms are large, and everything is in excellent working condition. The condo grounds are immaculately maintained and the 24/7 Security Staff are friendly and helpful. As recommended by Our Host Forest, our driver Donald was careful, considerate, and always on time. This was our second one month stay in Jaco during November and is quiet with great weather. Many, many thanks to Forest who made our stay thoroughly enjoyable.

This property is absolutely beautiful!! The condo is very spacious and everything is well appointed. We spent lots of time just sitting out on the balcony listening to and watching the waves crash against the rocks. It was just close enough to the main road but far enough away to not have to deal with the crowds. We saw scarlett Macaws, monkeys, and a sloth just across the inlet beside the condo. I would definitely return to this property.

The trip could not have been more wonderful, from the place, to the pool, to the beach and the town. We always love our time in Jaco and will always stay here. Great communication, great accommodations.

The owner was VERY helpful with great information on local restaurants, attractions plus groceries and the amazing fruit market. Condo view was awesome and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

502 South is a wonderful property, with absolutely breathtaking views of the Oceano Pacifico! Tres Regalos is a small, high-quality condominium complex at the very north end of Playa Jaco (next to Croc's Casino), and also features an outstanding salt water pool. 502S is a well-appointed two-bedroom unit, with very comfortable king-size beds in both bedrooms. The kitchen and living room areas are comfortable -- and the outdoor patio is the real highlight, particularly at sunset (about 5.45 pm every night). Owner Forest is very knowledgeable about Costa Rica, and provided numerous emails in advance of our visit regarding things to do and enjoy in the Jaco area. For first-time visitors to Costa Rica, Forest has also written an easy-to-read book about life in CR entitled "Tarantulas in the Pool", available on Amazon. We highly recommend both the condo, and the book! We will be back. PURA VIDA! 😎�

Beautiful and well equipped 2 bedroom condo in Jaco beach. Very easy access to everything, secure parking and really nice grounds. We were there over the Christmas holidays and enjoyed the beach access and the kids loved swimming in the river beside. Our host was fantastic, sent us tones of information and made it very easy for all of us. I recommend this place and will definitely return!

This unit is GREAT!!! The location, furnishings and view... Very secure and very family friendly. Can't wait for my next trip to Jaco !!!

Don’t know here to start; first off, the condo is perfect for two couples. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to fix meals and save some money. AC was great, bathrooms were very nice. Location just a bit off the beaten path- which for us older folks was great, just a nice walk into town with lots of restaurants, shops and bars. We never had a bad meal. Having Forest just an email away was like having our own personal travel agent; he responsed to our emails almost immediately! Can’t say enough how reassuring that was. We also used Donald for airport transportation-which went off without a hitch, recommend without hesitation! This was our first trip to CR and didn’t really know what to expect, we loved it! So many things to see and do. The Macaws flying by our balcony each morning was a treat we looked forward to - we saw 5 together one day - amazing. Walked across the small river at low tide to Monkey Beach and actually saw several monkeys in the trees, that was a first in all our travels. Did the “buggy” waterfall trip- that was a scream- literally- lol The sunset at Villa Caletas was unbelievable- an absolute must, we stayed for dinner; a little pricey but so worth it, the service was top notch. The only issue for us was the music coming from the huge casino next door- just a heads up- you can hear it inside the condo, but they shut it off at 5:00, so it really wasn’t a problem, just want you to be aware. Oh, having the security 24/7 was also reassuring, but we never had an issue, never felt afraid or concerned. Don’t be afraid to go during green season- the weather was great- hot, humid, with some afternoon rain showers but it never stopped us. We also did the boat trip to Tortuga Island - recommend CostaCat by Angie directly across the street to book it. We’ve been home a week today and feeling a little depressed- we will be back. We would first like to say Thank You Forest for letting us rent your condo for two weeks. We keep coming back here because it is truly Beautiful ! Forest's condo has an amazing view, just to sit at the beautiful table on the balcony and watch the Sunset is breath taking. Drink in hand!* His condo is very clean and has enough dishes and cooking items to accommodate you. One thing that we could of used is a large tray to carry our food down to cook on the BBQ. We love to BBQ . We had a couple of small issues but as soon as we contacted Forest he was on it right away. Town is so close you can walk or take a cab for $3.00. The restaurants are amazing to eat at and we never had a bad meal. Love having the Beach this close... We feel very safe staying here. The security guards are friendly, helpful and fun.. The pool and grounds are well looked after and clean. We have meet so many awesome people and Owners. We would recommend Tres Regalos to all our Family and Friend's. Thanks Again!-* Gail & Steve

The accommodations are very comfortable. The only improvement could be a few more basic non-perishables in the kitchen. We love staying there!!

Fridge water dispenser has new life form. Dishwasher not working. Sewer smells in unit not pleasant. To have someone come over to swim only if you rent for six months. No problem thou the pool is always cold. Everyone sits around it but only go in for a few minutes at a time. HOA says it's refreshing just a nice way to say we don't heat it. Ran into previous renters on the beach and we were told the same thing. We were told better deals down the beach. PS this the first bad review I have ever given about a unit that we have rented. Cannot recommend. Sorry.

We loved our stay at this property. Everything was as described. The grounds of the property were very nice and well maintained and you feel very secure with the attended gates and the active security. The quality of the accommodations was top notch - large space, quality furniture and appliances, very comfortable beds. The one suggestion I might have is that there were no face towels or wash cloths (each bathroom came with 2 bath towels and a beach towel) and no TP or trash bags, so keep that in mind. The condo was clean, well maintained, had great AC, water, etc. The view from the large balcony is amazing and the beach is superb. The location is on the far north end of Jaco beach, so a little off the beaten path, which we actually quite liked, because Jaco itself can be a little rambunctious. Right outside the complex is a small market with all the essentials, and across the street is a wonderful restaurant El Rincon with phenomenal hand made pizza from a wood burning oven. Forget the Crocs "resort" next door and spend your time at the restaurants in town and on the beach. I have to give a special shout out to the owner Forest who was so attentive and helpful in providing information and advice to us Costa Rica newbies before the trip. He is such a nice guy and you can tell he just loves the country and making guests fell welcome and confident that they are going to have a wonderful time. He was instrumental in earning this 5 star review, and I don't give fives easily. I will not hesitate to return to this property if I get the chance.

This condo has everything. AC (thank goodness!), great location. Just on the end of the town. East to walk in but far enough away that you're not in the middle of everything. The host, Forest, is the best part. He was very available for all of my questions and also offered up many great tips about the town etc. The view is great and the condo is a top floor corner unit which is awesome. The guards at the front gate were always very nice and helpful. We chose to use Donald to pick us up at the airport (on Forest's recommendation). I'm so glad we did. He was waiting for us, made a few stops along the way (ATM, grocery store etc.) and even brought us up to the condo to make sure we were all set. A perfect way to start the trip. We also used him to ride back to the airport on our departure day. Donald also made a stop at the crocodile bridge on the way in. That was fun and exciting!

Great property great location and very helpful host

We just loved this place. It is perfect for 2 adult couples. We spotted McCaws in the distant trees in the mornings: 6:45 then again around 7:30 AM. Didn't see them in the PM. The forest hill is not climbable, but is truly beautiful, especially at sunset with the sun setting just behind it. We crossed the small river which was a bit deep and as the tide came in it rose quite a bit. We got wet up to our armpits coming back. It was a great time and your suggestions for restaurants was right on. I got the tuna tower at Grafiti's and it was spectacular. This place was hard to find as it can't be seen from the street. You go to the open air plaza with "Moyo" in lights at the front. It's just 1/2 block left and behind of Tsunami Sushi. There in the back are lots of restaurants, live music and dancing area. We also had great sushi at Tsunami Sushi. The town of Jaco has grown tremendously since we were there 9 years ago. Lots to do and see. Our taxi from Tres Regalas was only $3 to the near side of town. The artentina bakery was hard to spot because trees are covering the sign from the street. It is the second building once you just get to town with dark blue painted exterior. The condo has nice comfortable beds and the view is unbelievable.

This would have been the Condo I would have purchased, corner on top with unobstructed view of the beach and Lagoon/River. Forest is the most helpful and knowledgeable owner we have ever worked with thru VRBO and we have had a few. The units and property are very well kept and people are friendly. Definitely use the owner's recommended driver, Donald. He is also very helpful for directions and familiarizing you with the area on the way from CR'S beautiful and modern Airport. In this unit you will definitely be living the "Pura Vida" this Country boasts about. You will not be disappointed! Thanks Forest, Mike and Cher

From this condo unit we experienced fabulous sunsets every night from our balcony. The unit is roomy enough for two couples to enjoy the place. The kitchen was ok, we mainly used it for breakfast. I'd certainly recommend this unit to anyone as it met all of our needs. There is no dining table inside the unit but we most often snacked and played cards on the outside table on the deck. Overall a great experience.

Forest is one of the best hosts you could ask for. You will not be without information as he will provide some of the best emails prior to travel as you could ask for. He's always and email or phone call away. The view is amazing, you can see ocean, beach, river, and rain forest all from one chair on the balcony. The accommodations are great, beds large and comfy. The fully stocked kitchen didn't get used much by us, but it's there if you prefer to cook your own meals. Don't miss out and stay anywhere else. Pura Vida!

Our family of 4, with two teenagers thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, 12 wondrous sunsets . Our goal to have a relaxing tropical stay was realized because there were no surprises, everything was just perfect as we had hoped it to be based on the pictures and reviews. The experience with the owner was a 10 out of 10. He was prompt in respond to email or phone and provided us with great suggestions for local food and fun activities in Jaco. He also helped arrange transfer to and from the airport with a friendly expat who showed us great hospitality and even took us grocery shopping on the way in. The condo is perfectly located, ocean, tropical forest and river views all from the balcony…keep an eye open for the colorful pairs parrots flying by. The 4 minute walk to the often sparsely populated beach had us taking a dip or boogie boarding several times a day, there is even an outside shower to rinse away sand before returning to the condo room or swimming in the well-kept pool. The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed to eat-in when we wanted to enjoy the sunsets from the balcony. The staff were always keeping the facility neat and clean and were very friendly and helpful. Should our travels take us back to Jaco we most certainly will want to stay here again.

We rented this condo to extend our stay in Costa Rica following a cruise through the Panama Canal that ended in Caldera. It turned out to be a great choice! The condo was beautiful, exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The fans and A/C kept us nice and cool, and we slept well on a comfortable king-size bed. The wi-fi and laundry facilities were important features for us, and both performed well. From our first inquiry through the end of our visit, Forest was always prompt about providing plenty of information and answering all of our questions. The views from the condo were amazing, and we enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony with our coffee every morning. The location at the far end of the beach from town was perfect for us, and we were able to get plenty of exercise walking into town each day, as well as exploring the beach near the condo. We especially enjoyed the salt-water pool to cool off after those walks. Forest has put together a ‘502 Book’ that provides a wealth of information about restaurants, shopping and excursions, and we found his recommendations to be very helpful. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare the meals that we ate in the condo. Forest was great to work with and even helped us by arranging transportation from Caldera to Jaco, and then from Jaco to the airport. Our experience was very good and we hope to return for another visit. Highly recommend!

Jaco Costa Rica is a wonderful place to visit especially if you're situated on a balcony overlooking the waves crashing upon the shore. This condo is exceptionally clean and has the conveniences that you might need for cooking and spending time at the beach or at the pool.The owner of this condo is extremely hospitable and attends to needs punctually. The condos llocale offers exploration to the individual who wants to go beachcombing along the volcanic rock to the north and sit in the tidepools that remain when the tide is out. To the south it is great for surfing. We saw some locals surf directly out side the condo but being inexperienced we traveled south about 2 miles down. We even saw whales breach from the balcony. We definitely plan on returning to this condo and have told family and friends.

The condo is a beautifully furnished, quiet condo just steps to the beach (and great surf) with great views. My infant son loved the salt water pool. I definitely recommend this place and plan on going back next time we're in Jaco.
