The company was extremely helpful to work with and every request we had was courteously taking care of. The location is wonderful in the house is absolutely beautiful.

Great location, don't need a golf cart as where you have to park it is only 200ft from the front door. So a family of nine we all walked to the beach No problem at all. Owner states 1 block from beach but it seems closer. Great House for a big family to spread out, plenty of space for our family with many beds still not used. Kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils, etc... best we have ever had as we ate out once. We love to cook! outdoor Kitchen was an added bonus, and pool. The 2 propane bottles for the grill where empty when we went to use the BBQ, reached out to manager and they were there with new bottles in 20 mins or less. Beds are very comfortable, the whole house was very comfortable and spacious, with great location. Only thing to make it better was if it was right on the beach but the amenities made it well worth the stay. Had beach chairs to use, beach toys, foosball, pingpong, fireable, pool, and outdoor kitchen, also basketball goal. Our family was well pleased with Casa Verde and will be back.

We loved the house. Plenty of room for a family trip especially with the extra rooms in the pool house, which can provide privacy for some. Short walk to the beach. About a 10-15 minute drive down to the Harborwalk Village. The property owner is fast to reply to messages/concerns. It was clean when we arrived. Has great backyard for swimming and bbq, and some other games and fire pit. I would stay here again!

Place is beautiful place has been updated. It's walking distance to the beach and many shops. Me an my family had a stupendous time. Definitely will stay again.

In late 2022, I approached two other families regarding a Senior Trip for our high school boys. We set a budget and chose Destin as the location and began the search for a home to house 6 adults, 7 high school aged kids and a 6 year old. Casa Verde appeared to meet our size/location needs but we were somewhat concerned about previous reviews regarding the home. Well, we could not have been more delighted to arrive and find that this home has been completely updated and refreshed! It is easily the most luxurious home we have rented (6 prior years in Destin!) and it was the perfect fit for our eclectic families. The High School boys took the carriage house - they were so happy to have their own space! The adults, and young ladies utilized the main house and were so very happy with the set up. The main floor bedroom was perfect for our guest who recently had a hip replacement; each bedroom has an attached (or Jack and Jill) bathroom. Most of all, we loved the upgrades to the outdoor living spaces. Aside from the private, heated pool, we had so much fun playing games and relaxing at the outdoor bar, dining area, comfy couch and firepit. This home was absolutely gorgeous. The only thing better than the home was the communication with the property managers. We were kept in the loop on any minor issues (they replaced the tv in the exterior bar) and were incredibly responsive to questions. We had a problem logging into wifi - however, one text and less than 5 minutes later were were all online. Fyi - we had several members of our party working/schooling during our trip and the wifi was excellent. I would recommend Casa Verde to anyone thinking of staying in Destin. It's gorgeous, comfortable, well stocked, and is literally steps from the beach - you can see the ocean from the porches! Thanks for a great week! Two of the sofas in the living rooms looks bad and the outside porches in the back needs a coat of paint Roaches in the Carriage house, someone came by and sprayed but did not come inside Other than this the place was good enough

The location was wonderful. Very short walk to the beach. The house had everything we needed for our stay. It was very noticeable that although this house has everything you need it is not well maintained. The kitchen cabinets need painting and one of the drawers was messed up. The dishwasher messed up and had to be replaced. The furniture is old and worn and the outside patio set was very faded. The railing going out the back door is very wobble and needs to be fixed. We did have some other issues that were taken care of in a timely manner. I also recommend that mirrors be put in the bedrooms. This would help

The stay was awesome. Comfy beds, nice pool, and a large living space! The house does need some repairs but didn’t really interfere with our stay. I would totally stay here again.

The house was in a great location, just a short walk to the beach. There was more than enough room for my family of 13. The only suggestions would be to clean or update the furniture in the living room. Also, the cleaning company needs to do a little better job with sweeping and moping between stays. It honestly wasn't that big of a deal, I always sweep and mop as soon as I check in at any rental. The last little issue was with scheduled maintenance. I received a text from the property manager at 8:00am one morning wanting a plumbing company to come check the drains in the bathrooms. The plumbing company came while we were at the beach. When we returned the downstairs shower was dirty from the plumbing company cleaning the drains. I was a little frustrated to return to a dirty shower that needed to be cleaned before it could be used again. The property manager texted me several times to make sure everything was okay with my stay. The issues I mentioned about were minor, so there was nothing to report. Overall, I would recommend this property to my friends and family. I would also gladly stay there again. One last thing... bring your own towels and wash clothes. There was only enough for everyone to have one of each.

Just a few seconds from the beach and minutes away from restaurants and shopping! Could use some cleanup out back and minor cosmetic work in/outside of the house, but overall it was good.

The property could be very very nice, but it was not clean & needed a lot of TLC.

Loved the house and the Location! Pool was a big hit with kids and adults! Beautiful Beach just a short 2 minute walk away. Rooms nice and beds were comfortable! Guest house could use a little work. Trim trees by both stairway entrances… fix boards on porches… upstairs unit a little musty.. we had to buy some Bleach for upstairs kitchenette sink because of smell. But overall it didn’t affect our satisfaction with our stay!

The owner was kind enough to upgrade our rental because of roof issues. The house was amazing as well as the outside view and close proximity to the beach.

First off, the size and location of the property was great. We had 13 people in our party and there was plenty of space. It was a very short walk to the beach and there was not a lot of traffic. We had the pool heated and it used it quite a bit. Having it heated helped, especially with the cooler nights in April. We really enjoyed our stay, however the property itself needs some TLC. The kitchen/bathroom cabinets and appliances need a good scrubbing and some of the doors were falling off. The outdoor landscaping was a mess and much of the outdoor furniture needs replacing. I understand the amount of wear and tear a rental property goes through, but it’s important to maintain the upkeep if you’re going to charge good money to rent it out. The owner and property manager were easy to work with. With some updating and a deep clean, the house would be fabulous!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Verde! The location is fantastic.........a short walk to a spectacular beach, and a short drive to shopping and conveniences. Many restaurant options close by, as well as family activity options. Chairs and umbrellas were available to rent at the beach (~$50 per day for 2 chairs + umbrella). Be sure to bring your own beach towels, as there were not any available. The home was the perfect setup for our party of 11. Plenty of room in the house for two families with a few kids, and 2 separate living/sleeping areas in the carriage house. The latter worked perfectly for me (single traveler) and my parents, who needed some quiet space. A few things in the house weren't exactly as advertised and some updates are needed, but overall it functioned very well for our stay. The pool is small, but worked fine for our two 13 year olds and 4 year old. The heated pool was key to the success of our vacation.....kids were able to swim in the evenings despite cool weather. There was not a fire pit as advertised, which we were looking forward to being able to use. Some of the pool furniture was in rough shape, but there was enough that was functional for our party of 11. The ping pong table, basketball hoop, and bean bags were nice to have for some outdoor entertainment. The owner was very responsive and addressed the few issues that we encountered immediately. He called me afterwards to discuss, which I appreciated. This is a good option for a family vacation, and could be great with a few fixes/updates and upgrades to give it a more luxury feel.

My family ages 6 to 76 had a great time! The place is huge with plenty of room for us to spread out. Great comfortable place, especially the private backyard and pool! The fire pit pictured was not there, but the pool was the main attraction anyway. The location is walking distance to a beautiful public beach. Please note: they do not provide beach towels or beach chairs, so plan to bring your own.

Great location to the beach access-short walk. Wonderful ping pong table and basketball goal-both in great condition. Plenty of restaurants and grocery within 10 minutes. Very nice, large bedrooms. Owner very responsive. No fire pit as pictured. A negative, but easy to fix-majority of mattresses really need mattress protectors/pads!

Not complete sets of linens and towels…landscaping and pool were neglected….not very clean….windows falling out of frame….lots of wear and tear on furniture….no towel bars or soap holders in baths….we called mgr and needs met…shouldn’t have to call for green pool, bath towels, and grass to be cut however….house could be a great one with a great location….needs TLC badly

Our group enjoyed our week at Casa Verde. The house was perfect for our group of three families, that range in age from 5-52yrs! The kids loved the court yard and pool area and the walk to the beach couldn’t have been easier. We will definitely try to stay here again.

This was our first time using vrbo and this home was beautiful and very spacious also very convenient to the beach.
