Excellent location. The views from the well-appointed terrace are amazing. Spacious enough for 6 adults. The hosts were very friendly, attentive, and available to address any concerns. They offered an onsite travel/tour guide company that provided private, personalized services that were great! Our group really enjoyed our time with our guide, Tiago.

It needed a few maintenance items addressed. Small bathrooms but functional. Better pillows.

דירה מהממת עם מרפסת נוחה ומושלמת לנוף מדהים. חדרים נוחים, מיטות נוחות. מה שצריך במטבח, חניה ליד הדירה ומרחק הליכה לגשר, למוזיאון, מסעדות לסופרמרקט ובית קפה ובעיקר לטיילת על הנוף. מארח לבבי ונחמד שמוכן לסייע בכל בקשה.

קצת קשה היה למצוא את הדירה. נמצאת מול מסעדות בבניין של חנויות לכלי עבודה.

A warm and friendly welcome to the spacious, clean and comfortable apartment with a lovely terrace and views of the Douro. Perfect location for a river cruise and lots of good restaurants just across the road.

La vue sur le Douro, la qualité de la rénovation de l'appartement, le fait que chaque chambre avaient sa propre salle d'eau, sa propre TV et climatisation, la terrasse avec son mobilier extérieur, l'accueil et les conseils de restaurants!

Le bruit de la fête foraine qui pourtant était assez loin...et un BBQ électrique aurait été un plus pour la terrasse!

+ very close to railway station + very nice owner + free coffee set + view from balcony (only 1 room is facing the river)

- noise from the street - missing local infrastructure / Mini-Mart in the direct neigbourhood (e.g. to buy drinking water) - shower temperature control is SUUUUPER sensitive

The apartment was very nice. Comfortable beds, great balcony, Pedro was very helpful and quick to respond!

The showers were very temperamental between extreme hot and cold and we're a little small but it was great to have 3 separate bathrooms.

The place was very specious, well equipped with all you might need, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The view to Douro river was a bonus, and was really amazing. All the bedrooms were en-suite, with bathrooms in every room, which was very useful, as we were a group of seven. Another extra was the specious balcony and all the outdoor furniture to enjoy the nice weather, looking at the river and the nice scenery. The property was a walking distance to everywhere, with a couple of restaurants and wine-tasting places just across the street. Although there was no car park at the property (we travelled by two rented cars), there was a free public car park just a minute away. The town of Peso da Regua itself was very nice and charming, and a very good starting point to explore all that Douro valley has to offer. A plenty of wineries close by, and scenic routes to enjoy the vineyards on the slopes all around the place. Many places of interest were just 15 to 30-minute drive, including Vila Real, Pinhao, Lamego, Amarante. Last, but not least, a very nice and accommodating host, providing you with advice on places to go to for a tasty dinner, or any further information you might need. We would be back, definitely.

Just by chance, we visited in early March, and the weather was quite cold during the night and in the morning. It was a bit cold, although there was air-conditioning in every room.
