It was horrible. Changed rooms 3 times.had to ask for towels every day.had to ask for the room to be cleaned

Very clean, close to the beach and nearby restaurants.

Lets's start with the check in process, it was ok took a long time to get checked in and there was an extra $30 "check in fee" that was not made aware to me before the trip. I don't mind an extra fee but I want to not be suprised by it trying to get checked in. Was such a long day of traveling it is the last thing I wanted to argue about to start a vacation and the fee felt like it was put in place for that very reason so not a great start. I do want to note the gentleman that helped us with our bags and showed us to room was great, probably the highlight of the stay. I will note that the room looked just like the picture, one thing you can't tell from pictures is the smell though. The room smelled like it was bombed with an overwhelming chemical smell. It was the kind of smell that was trying to mask something and it was heavy. We only stayed there one night and our clothes smelled like that room the rest of our stay on our cruise. The bed sheets where another story whatever chemicals were used needs to be changed out. They almost felt like they were washed with soap instead of detergent, which left almost like a lotion feel which is not as appealing as it sounds. I don't blame hotels for rowdy guests, I understand that can be out of their control but the sound at which you can hear guests above you felt like you were in the room with them. So it was a late night trying to get some sleep but this was Miami and I am forgiving of this situation people are eventually going to go to bed which they did and we went to sleep at that point as well but really the cherry on top of this experiance though was the smoke alarm inexplically going off at 430 am!!!! while we were sleeping. I called the front desk to let them know someone answered and said someone would be up and we never saw anyone to come up the rest of our stay that day, not even sure they checked the smoke alarm after we left. Going into greater detail about smoke alarm, the alarm is in our room directly over our heads and obviously it was a smoke alarm and it was LOUD it would turn off and stop beeping after about 10 minutes so you would think it would be over, and you would thank God that it was because it was super loud and a damn smoke alarm but then it would randomly go off again multiple times over the course of the morning. This is by far my worst experience at a hotel in my life and I have stayed in $30 a night shitholes.
