Helnan operated , but not the famous Helnan Palastine hotel I thought ... They changed the name to helnan royal and helnan palace !!

Decent hotel in the middle of gardens, not a front beach one.

They need more staff during full capacity , the hotel wasn’t prepared for large number of guests also zero supervision. We were very disappointed during breakfast open buffet.

This hotel is for adult only and i found children The receptionist tell me that the pool open in 4 PM

Nice old palalce guesthouse feeling with the furniture and fittings, yet the equipment like TV was modern. Food and wifi was also very good.

It is difficult to get into the gardens or arrange for an uber to pick you up. I did however have a rental car the next day and had no problems when I show my room key. It was weddings on both nights of my stay with loud music. Guess I just picked the wrong date. The facility is advertised as adults only, yet there were many children. Maybe correct the advertisement?

1- Faced issue when entering the main gate, because at check in, they forgot to give me a special entrance card. 2- Setting at pool side after 7 pm is horrible due to Miskito, LOTS OF THEM, and they are. It doing anything about it. 3- Breakfast was less than good, it much if variety

Amazing place to stay. Everything was a 10, definitely will come back!

Wow! We were upgraded to a suite in this hotel, which is the former guest house of the Montazah Palace. The room had a huge, comfy bed, sofa and TV, dining table, bathroom with wet room shower, and vanity area with tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar/snacks. We had use of a lounge area outside the door and a balcony with suite of furniture outside. The grounds and breakfast area were beautiful and everywhere was clean and serene. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We used room service for a couple of evening meals and they were great.

What could have made it better would have been to have a hairdryer automatically provided in the vanity area (we did get one after asking at reception) but there was no plug near the dressing table and mirror, so it was difficult to style hair. We could have done with china or ceramic mugs or cups permanently in the room for our cups of tea. There were paper cups which weren't so great and we did get china cups with room service, but they went back to the kitchen after use. Also we only had wooden stirrers rather than teaspoons. This is quite important for English folk who like their hot cup of tea after a day of sightseeing! The grounds outside the hotel were obviously being worked on for the upcoming summer season. This meant that access was not possible easily by car and strolling at night was muddy in some areas. The local people using the Montazah park in their leisure time did not clear up their rubbish and it spoiled the look of the park and was very noticeable. A shame, because everything else was top rate!
