The host went above, and beyond the call of duty. Not with standing that the apartment was super groovy and beautifully appointed, the guest left me expensive gifts for my 60th birthday, and it was an absolute surprise bonus to be able to meet them on departure. All the little extras were modern and bright to match the light in the rooms. It was beyond our wildest dreams. And lots of little extras in the bathroom. Everything to make your stay incredibly comfortable. All appliances, completely modern, and it was a thrill to have A washing machine. Bottle of champagne in the fridge as well. I felt incredibly affluent

We initially required an explanation as to how to open the European handle on the front door. As a 60-year-old I did struggle with bringing my heavy luggage up and down the outside stairs you had to access to get into the upstairs apartment, but our host generously assisted.🙂

A very warm welcome from both hosts. Di went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable with chilled glasses in the fridge, complimentary snacks and drinks. A Nespresso machine made all the difference.

The apartment was amazingly set up and very clean. Amenities such as tea, coffee etc was all provided and little welcome gifts upon arrival. Di was absolutely lovely to meet. Have already recommended to friends and family.

The host di made us feel Very comfortable , she was always there to help if we needed. Very friendly .

There was Nothing we didn’t like , a lovely place to stay , a lovely way to start our holiday.

Good location and price. Easy access to railway station and town. Good communication from the host who left us a few goodies which we really appreciated. Comfortable beds and good facilities.

The apartment was great, had everything you could need, even milk in the fridge and tea and coffee. Our lovely host Di left cold beers and prosecco in the fridge and the heating was on! Thank you.

Fan in bathroom wasn't working so some additional condensation during rest of the day Dishwasher rack was not working so door a little challenging to close

Di was an excellent host, and very accommodating to our timings - we were traveling during some heavy rail strike action and she made every effort to make sure we weren’t left out in the cold. The flat was clean, cosy, comfortable and in a great location. We couldn’t have been more satisfied with our Christmas base - thank you!!

Lovely host - quick to reply, easy communication. Welcome drinks and breakfast pain au chocolat were a lovely touch. Easy to modify heating. Lots of extra blankets available if needed. Very central location, perfect for our trip to Wakehurst! Would definitely stay again!

Stairs up to the apartment were slippery in the rain so wouldn't recommend to people with mobility issues. Otherwise nothing! Will definitely stay again!
