Jen and How are absolutely warm and welcoming hosts. The location of the B&B is beautiful with stunning views of Brecon and the countryside. The room was of a high quality standard. The breakfast prepared with love. It was the best B&B on our tour of Wales. Good recommendation for a relaxing stay.

Everything! Jen and Howarth were the perfect hosts! Beautiful house and gardens, views amazing, nothing was to much trouble it felt like home from home.

I cannot find anything to complain about really. The on suite loo made a noise when flushing but it was out of the owners control as there had been a problem in the area regarding water so I would really have to struggle to find any sort of complaint.

Jen was very friendly and accommodating to food allergens. Bed was comfortable and location was quiet with local town within easy walk. Breakfast was exceptionally good, Jen is a very good cook, would recommend full English and her poached eggs.

We were initially put into a lovely super king room. Masses of space, with a bath and shower in a spacious bathroom. About 270sqft with a well stocked minifridge. Turns out this was not the room I had booked, despite both being labelled as "superior king room". We moved rooms when requested however, having seen the larger room and then compared it to the one we had booked we felt ours was overpriced. Our minifridge was stocked just not to the same level as the other room, the bathroom was smaller and there was less space in the bedroom. Given that the other room was only £25 per night more than ours we felt the price differential was not justifiable and our room wasn't really a superior king. if we were able to/known about the significant difference in room standards we would have booked the other superior king room.

Proprietor uses same pictures for both rooms that are at this property- both called “superior rooms” on Booking.com. I thought I booked the room with a bath from the information provided on booking.com- but was allocated another room. Information provided on the booking page was confusing & inaccurate. Proprietor said that on their own webpage the information is clear- but who would know to look at that when booking through Booking.com Mountain views are only from the breakfast room as the bedrooms have windows looking westward Inadequate sound insulation we would hear the other guests TV very clearly. Breakfast served till 7:30 - 9 am.

The B&B is set in a beautiful location with scenic views. It is also only a short walk in to the town centre. The hosts were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The room was absolutely spotless, very comfy and spacious too. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. 10/10 for Beaconsview B&B.

From the moment of arriving and experiencing what must be one of the best views in the UK, to our departure Jen & Patrick fulfilled every need for a perfect stay.

Fantastic breakfast, great selection. Great location and views. Jen was very helpful and attentive, providing information on the local area and recommendations for restaurants. Couldn't fault anything about our stay.

Outstanding B&B with stunning views in a quiet location. Our room was beautifully presented and everything was just perfect. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice and cooked perfectly. Location was unbeatable with views of Pen Y Fan Brecon Beacons from the breakfast room. Plenty of choice for breakfast, tasty local products well cooked.

The property was lovely and had the most amazing views, we even had a couple of visitors in the mornings (some sheep). It was the perfect location for us. The room was very clean and it was lovely how we was provided with robes,milk and water in the fridge, some biscuits and complimentary toiletries. This really was an overall beautiful property.

There isn't anything we didn't like about the property. It is lovely. Highly recommend! A M option for a slightly earlier check in time would be helpful for some, but we didn't mind.

The breakfast was good. The view towards the mountains is stunning. The room was extremely comfortable and the ability to sit in the lounge with a view in the evening made it a special stay.
