Very nice property

The large sitting room with log fire (we used it 4 times even in July) were very cosy. The bathroom was luxurious and the beds comfortable; weslept well. We loved the friendly goats!

Kitchen equipment was a little tired and sparse. Extra black bags would have been helpful given that rubbish needed to be bagged prior to binning. No pegs/laundry basket/iron or hair dryer available. Coffee and tea were in the cottage (thank you) but no obvious 'welcome pack'. Some milk or biscuits make all the difference when arriving at a remote cottage after a long drive!

We arrived very late at night and the owners left lights on so we could locate the property. The cottage was spotless, warm and it was very easy to settle in. I’m particularly fussy about cleanliness and the cottage was spotless, beds were clean and comfortable. kitchen was well equipped and we found everything that we needed.

Everything was lovely, really nice place to stay and perfect for where my colleagues needed to be in relation to where they were on site for work.

Excellent accommodation, easy to find. Very welcoming hosts. Perfect for exploring Devon.

Location and comfort of cottage - home from home.

Everything. Privacy, quietness, views, access to garden, easy communication and interaction with host. WiFi access/TV for winding down after a busy day. Valued washing machine for days at the beach. No light pollution able to see the stars in the evening. Comfortable kitchen with all facilities to work in. Comfortable beds. Very friendly and caring.

There was nothing we did not like. The animals were a bonus and very therapeutic.

A delightfully peaceful location, clean property and good value for money. Our girls loved the neighbours (the goats!)
