The room was really outdated, felt like walking into a 1970 horror movie! Pink carpet in the room with stains ,old furniture and not enough plugs or USB to charge your phone . I found it very disrespectful to international tourists that not even one channel in English . The swimming pool looked dirty. Overpriced for what you get.

I loved my stay here! Convenient short walk to the cathedral, main squares, shops, and train station. Hotel is spacious, with lots of amenities. I enjoyed the views from the top floor as well as my little balcony.

The location is great, right at downtown and besides the bridge. The facility is nicely designed and looks marvelous. The service is great. We arrived the hotel before 10am and they gave us the room with only €19 extra. The breakfast is delicious with sparkling wine and beer.

The location was great. Easy to get to with publictransportations, and close to shops, cafe, restaurants etc

The hotel is well located in a touristy area so there are plenty of places nearby to eat and drink, as well as being very accessible for sights, especially the cathedral. It is a dated hotel in terms of decor but that is part of its charm! The rooftop bar is great for views across the river and the cathedral so well worth spending an evening there.

Very good breakfast, OK pool, gym is tiny and doesn't offer a very good workout, very clean and well air-conditioned room. Friendly staff.

Overall the Maritim Hotel is a clean and well organised hotel set in a great location for sightseeing either by foot or local transport that is also close to the Hotel, the Olmsted are clean and have a excellent turndown service with cleaning and clean towels etc each day if required, breakfast has a great choice from fruit to cold meats and hot sausage, eggs along with various beverages, set in a great location and as stated some major site to visit are well within walking distance along with an excellent shopping centre that’s a short walk towards the centre of the city, so ! Brilliant place to stay and central for all options from site seeing to shopping. Only quip ! The time we where there the weather was hot, the room had air conditioning but it was very poor and failed at keeping the room at a decent temperature so we had a bit of a sweat box for a few days, picky I know but I prefer cooler nights for sleeping. Oh ! If you have young ones who like their fix of TV take a USB pen with some of their favourites as there is nothing in English for them on the TV system, just mainly local channels. Have fun and enjoy your stay in Cologne, the city is amazing with loads to do 👍

Nice hotel. Er had room on 5th floor, that was nice and very quiet. Could sleep with open Window. Very small fitness, and not very good. The breakfast was not special, and not worth the money. The hotel is great located, but is could use a make over to get in to 2024 looks. Very old fashion looks and colours.

We like the glass ceiling and garden design in lobby. Very convenient location close to Colone Cathedral and Riverside walk.

The best hotels for the money in the whole of Germany. Backs onto the river and all the restaurants. Fabulous spot for sure. 👍

The faded artprint above the bed was something I'd expect in a poor countryside hotel, but not in a Maritim in Cologne.

Good stay in the Maritime! Nice pool and great location. The reception takes ages for anything and forget about contacting them by phone. But other than that, all great with the hotel!

It's a city, so a little noisy, but very close to trains, the Köln cathedral, shopping, and food. We opted for the breakfast buffet both days and found it full of food options. Nice, friendly staff. Ran out of time for the pool, and the rooftop restaurant wasn't open, but both looked inviting. Taxis availabe right outside. $8-10 to and from the station.

Amazing hotel, location and the most helpful staff. Smiley friendly and always able to help with enquiries. Spa was cute and the pool was great for a quick swim. Proximity to river and central cologne brilliant.

Ideally situated, felt safe, lovely hotel, huge atrium lobby entrance. loved it
