Well kept older hotel with a decent breakfast, great staff, qnd a really good Mexican restaurant next door.

I stay here often.

It was clean and in good repair. The mattress was soft, but then I like my mattress firm. Would definitely stay there again.

Room was clean, quiet, comfy beds, fluffy pillows, and air was cold. The shower in our room was amazing! The mexican restaurant ajoining is delicious and convienent. Will stay again if in area.

The property has been recently upgraded and was a pleasure to stay in for one night. It was clean and quiet.

Very nice. Room was clean, staff was pleasant. I would certainly recommend. Normally we never pay attention to hotel breakfast, but because of all the notable mentions in other reviews of gluten free options and how wonderful the breakfast was, we decided to check it out. Yes there were a couple of GF cereals, yogurt and fruit. Not sure if the eggs looking product and sausage were but even if they were since they were touching the toast that could be a problem for most people with gluten issues. All the food labels said they contained bioengineered ingredients so we didn’t end up having anything after all but it did look probably a degree better than the typical generic hotel breakfast option. Enjoy I guess!

The carpet was gross. You had to hold the handle down on the toilet to make it flush. This was room 106. Also there was no ice in the ice machine on first floor or second floor.

Said we booked a smokers room, didn’t want, no more king room available had to upgrade of course costing more money 😠who has smokers room any more?????

This motel exceeded our expectations. We weren't expecting much for a motel at this price and just booked it for one night to rest on our way to Charlotte. Checkin was very fast and clerk was friendly. It looks like the outside was recently renovated, paint on brick was in good condition and looked fresh. Room was easy to find and very clean. Beds were soooo comfortable, we all slept great! Bathroom was extremely clean too. Air conditioner worked great. Refrigerator was cold and clean. Everything was perfect. Breakfast the next morning was your typical continental breakfast, however there were little touches added, that I felt made it better. Having a choice of toppings for my yogurt was something I've not seen other hotels offer. Also, they had honey packets. My husband likes honey in his coffe and i always put honey on my peanut butter, so we were happy to see that offered. Also, the employee handling the breakfast, was a sweetheart. You can tell she takes pride in her work. Very friendly and kept everything looking nice. She even kindly came an told us when there was more bacon. Very friendly staff and we will most definitely stay here again on our next trip to Charlotte.

The only thing we didn’t like was the air conditioner was noisy. Overall it was a good place to stay for one night.

Traveling cross country with 2 little ones and needed a motel style where we could watch our vehicle easily, yet still have a comfy/safe hotel feel. This place was perfect for a night. The staff was super friendly, especially to the kids at breakfast! Thank you Ron and Nancy! We will definitely be back!

Traveled with our two dogs. Hotel was clean and convenient. The only downside was we stayed 4 nights/5 days and our room was never cleaned. We had to ask for a new garbage bag and some new towels, which they delivered several hours later.

Cookeville was a quaint little town with a surprising amount of dining options. We opted for Father John's Pub and it was delightful (delicious pub burger and duck fat tots!). The very nice girl at the night desk informed me the pool was open until 11 for an after dinner dip, and it opens at 9am (after breakfast and before checkout.). Clean, convenient, good shampoo/ conditioner, quiet and the breakfast lady was very accommodating and helpful.

We are a military family and are PCSing(moving). The girl at the front desk was very sweet. This is the second time we have stayed here. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The Mexican restaurant attached has very good food. They were able to give us adjoining rooms since we booked two rooms which was very helpful when it came to having our older children in the other room. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be staying here.

From the moment you walk in doors you feel like you belong. They even changed our rooms to the bootom floor because my grandmother fell and couldnt make it up or down the steps. It has been a great experience!

I found my check-in very easy. The clerk was very pleasant and helpful room is clean. I have no complaints visiting friends in the area for a wedding.

The room was clean and the pool was very nice. Breakfast was what I expected. They only thing I was disappointed with was I cooked this hotel because it said there was laundry service as we were there for a softball tournament and I needed to wash clothes for the third day of the tournament

Ac unit struggled to maintain temperature and was extremely loud. Room smelled like smoke even though they claimed the room was none smoking. Not wheelchair friendly environment
