Two of the three rooms had mechanical failures requiring a change of rooms after a cross country flight and one new room was not the same type of room

Staff not helpful or friendly. Room dark, musty smelling and outdated. Lukewarm water in shower. I generally am up very early (4 am) and leave the room to walk. Got an uncomfortable feeling walking around. Lobby area littered with used glasses, food on tables which remained till 8 am. Lack of food to purchase. Prices for what was available very overpriced. 7.00 for a 20 ounce soda. Paid less at Disney. Stay elsewhere

Nice hotel but rude customer service. Sometimes you go an extra mile to help a customer but the guy at the front desk didnt budge an inch. I worked at a resort and was trained that you never ever say NO to a customer. You do whatever it takes. He could of cared less.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The counter staff could have done a better job.
First off, walking away from the check in counter, i was surprised to find not only the room keys in the tiny key holder envelope, but someone else driver's license. It was a good thing that I noticed it right away as the license owner was still at the counter, being checked in.
Can you imagine the panic and hassle to the poor Hilton guest when she discovered the disappearance of her license?
Then, about the parking...
the counter staff mentioned nothing about the extra charge on the parking when i was checked in. While I have no problem with paying the $15, i think you staff member should have volunteered the information. I wondered how many of Hilton guests ended up with citations.
More on the parking:
I drove round and round the parking lot looking for a space and could not find any. There were plenty of unoccupied ones. But they were in the area that were marked 'for ruth chrus steakhouse customers only'. I finally went back to the check in counter only to be told' oh, don't mind the sign, you can park in those spaces'
Again, it would be much appreciated if the staff would have volunteered the information.
One last thing, the doors were loud and heavy. All night long i hear doors slamming shut from guests on both sides. I don’t blame the guests, but Hilton should have proper door closers installed to soften the impact.

Room did not get serviced. We had to ask for more towels, coffee pods and other room basics from the front desk. They were not prepared for the number of people who were there for tje conference we were also there for. Hotel is old and dingy. One of the elevators broke on our first day and was still broken 3 days later. Would not stay here again. Also did not EV chargers for electric vehicles.

Arrived at 11 pm, car park signs threatened clamping unless patrons download an app and pay the car park fees. I am from the UK and cannot download any apps on my company phone. Went to reception and they won’t take payment. They gave me a leaflet that provided a link to the payment site but that did not work.
The hotel was expensive, the event was expensive yet these people harass you for another $20 at 11 pm after an international flight and long drive.
It really is beyond belief. The hotel is dated, unclean and the catering was terrible. I asked for raisin bran at breakfast and the waitress said they don’t stock it. There was no service but they wanted a tip or service payment of 25%. If it’s self service then you can’t expect to be given a tip or service charge.

It’s an old property. Though renovated still feels old and dirty. The people at reception doesn’t show any courtesy. Didn’t feel like a Hilton at all.

Pros: Pool was awesome, there is a nice bar with seating, the location was ideal, bed was clean and room was big.
Cons: our room was outdated, the furniture had water damage, the AC unit never got over 74, it leaked in the middle of the room, black soot substance surrounded the vent which reminded me of mold but im no expert. We found a roach in our bathroom -it met an untimely death with a shampoo bottle.
Our room appeared to not be used frequently, there was a thin layer of dust on the tables like it had been empty for days.

Parking is not free at.. You must pay 15$ for overnight parking. Breakfast is also not free. I payed almost 40$ for breakfast. 👎

I booked through Expedia for the very first time and my experience was horrible. I had booked 2 bedrooms, both having 2 beds which was confirmed and paid for. When I get to the hotel they didn’t have the rooms due to overbooking and didn’t want to accommodate me for anything that will equal the amount I paid for. The staff was really rude and very impatient. Trying to figure out what to do they were rushing me to stay or to leave not considering that I was figuring out how to make their mistake work for my family. meanwhile manger was arguing with another customer which ended up having the police involved. Just a very bad experience with no good customer service.

Overall cleanliness was lacking. Elevator controls were filthy.
Hotel was extremely humid. So much so that the bed was damp. Dehumidifiers placed in the public bathrooms in the lobby but none in the rooms. Smelled musty so makes me belive there are mold problems.
Staff performed their duties but were not friendly. No greetings from the front desk. Coffee bar attendant had to be located and found gossiping with other staff then seemed off put by the ask for a coffee order, bartender was alone without support while trying to serve both cocktails and food making wait for food service extended and leaving bar unattended while serving food.

The property needs updates. It feels like a 1970's businessman hotel. Old, dark and musty. Love Ruth's Chris Steak house! Love the convenience store niche that you have! Love the workers there! Love that they have the Miss NJ and Miss NJ Teen pageants. Love the pools! Love the workout room!! The rooms are big but the furniture is falling apart. And every time I'm in the 152 room area, it smells like pot periodically. And it's every time I come there. So it leaves me to believe it's a worker smoking pot. GET RID OF THE POT SMOKERS!! I bring my kids there and I don't want to smell it because it is mind altering!! I don't care if it's legal. Where are my rights not to inhale it? Cigarette smoke isn't allowed so pot smoke shouldn't be either. I have mostly nice things to say but I think it's time for Hilton to consider a new updated look.

My refrigerator and air conditioner didn’t work. They said they was sending an engineer who never came. We called back and they said they would switch our room. They never called us back. We called with no answer. We sweated all night. Never slept and all we got was a late check out. Never again

I used to live in NJ and this hotel had a good reputation. I was very disappointed in its decline. The “Deluxe Spa” was a neglected construction zone. There were random holes in a hallway wall where a piece of art fell off. The doors on two of the cabinets in my room wouldn’t close. The tub’s floor was delaminating. The spigot was loose and felt like it would break away from the wall.
Worse thing was a $15 per night parking charge in acres of outdoor, unprotected parking lots. No garage. No security.
Another “No”: no complimentary breakfast. $25 for warm eggs, cold bacon, crappy coffee.
Never again. Not this dump.

Loved this place!
The hotel itself was gorgeous with a lot of amenities.
I was glad to learn that there was a Ruth’s Chris at this location. We ended up going here for dinner during our visit.
The hotel was very conveniently located near stores and grocery locations.
The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious.
I’d recommend this location and would definitely stay here again.

We were booked at this Hilton and when we arrived they told us the hotel was full and made us stay in a Hampton Inn near the Hilton. It was so shockingly unprofessional and staff never even apologized. Avoid this place at all costs.

Enjoyed our stay and truly liked the room. We clean every room we go into, including scrubbing the sink and bathtub along with wiping down all of the counter tops and surfaces. The sink was clean, yet the bathtub had a film of dirt that we cleaned.

The property is good a lot of rooms for conventions and rooms are clean and a lot of parking. They were understaffed for a convention. 2 bartenders the entire weekend i was there. A guess waited 50 min for a grill cheese sandwich which is unacceptable.
The front desk staff can use some work. I booked via expedia forgetting i had an hilton reqards status and was told i can not have it added. Thats ok my mistake. Then they attempted to give me a king on a higher floor when i reserved a pool floor room. I was then told thats not what my reservation is for in their system even though i called to confirm the day before. That isnt my problem. I was being charged for a pool sode room which is more and given a king size basic room. Then out of nowhere a double pool room showed up i took that and the youngnlady kept saying rhats not what i reserved amd was going back and forth with me. I will be making a formal complaint

The front desk young lady who works Friday thru Sunday daytime is very rude and unfriendly. She let select people check in early, yet had others wait until 3pm. There is NO AC in 70+ degree weather and they give fans - what a joke. Two out of 3 treadmills broken and all staff says “I was unaware of the situation” as if they’re reading from a script. Horrible experience.

Upon check in we realized our room had maintenance issues. There was no heat, the telephone did not work and the sofa was filthy. Called front desk twice from my cellphone with no response. Received a text from Jaeda checking on our stay, i relate the issues to her and no attempt to fix.
My family and I had to sleep in a cold hotel room. As a hilton honors member i am disappointed and disgusted.
