Check in was easy. Room was in need of new carpet. Could use some fresh paint on door frame. Have always look forward to Embassey Suites stays. However did not feel this property lived up to its flagship

The hotel check-in representative was friendly. The breakfast was satisfactory as usual. However, before we could get ourselves dressed to checkout the maid was knocking on the door at 8:30 AM. Checkout was not until 11:00 AM.

I arrived an hour early. Customer service representative was rude. My room was not ready. I could wait over there in the sitting area. The bellman, Joseph, did everything in his power to make me feel comfortable. After about 45 minutes, the front desk, called the head of housekeeping to open a whole floor to guests to have rooms available with king beds. Joseph is a diamond in the rough!

Visited this hotel this past weekend with my friends. Our room was cold. We turned it up to 90 degrees, but the feel of the room never changed. They must control it from office, but make you think that you can adjust it. A maintenance man came to check it. I noticed on the monitor that he used it said the air blowing out was at 73 degrees, but our thermostat was at 90.
He came on the day that we were checking out. We spent two days in the cold.
The bathroom had mold in tile. It needs to be deep cleaned. There were also stains on the blankets and sheets. Checkout was 11/24/24.

Stay was great. Loved the location. Only recommendation is maybe upgrade TVs to smart TVs. Wanted to use Netflix. No big deal but consideration.

We spent 2 nights. It is an easy walk to Fashion Center Mall and the Metro, there are restaurants right across the street, and we had very good breakfasts at the hotel. I booked two rooms under one reservation for my son and me and requested in the notes that they be connecting. When I arrived I was told that they were not connecting because there were two different last names. This made no sense to me because my reservation was under one person for two rooms. However, the clerk upgraded our rooms to corner rooms so even though we couldnt be side-by-side we had very nice rooms; my sons room even had a view of the Washington monument. My son is not a minor so it wasn't a huge deal anyway. We would book at this hotel in the future. Only complaint is the parking fee per day is high.

My husband and I arrived for a weekend stay for the long Labor Day holiday. First off, our suite was very quiet, spacious and had a mini fridge and microwave in the living/dining area. The daily breakfast was really good and offered a fresh, made your way omelet service. Unfortunately, the water pressure was terrible in our bathroom sink. Also, after the first night of our stay, our room was never cleaned. We came back late after having been out all day out and our bed was still unmade, our morning towels and previous night’s trash was all still in our suite. We saw three attendants cleaning different rooms on our floor as we were leaving that morning; but were told that they were short staffed as a reason for our room not being cleaned.

I loved the surrounding restaurants and dog park that was very close to the hotel. The room was a great size for our family of 5. I do wish the bathroom was a bit larger, but it still worked for us. The breakfast was phenomenal and will be very hard to top!

It was a decent stay and the hotel is nice. The room was nice but a little damp for some reason. The staff were polite but couldn’t help with any of our requests. They refused to offer a late check out and there was no laundry detergent or dryer sheets available to purchase for doing laundry, so I had to run across the street to Whole Foods. The TVs in the room are old - not smart TVs, so bring your own HDMI cord if you want to stream. I ended up ordering one through UberEats. The WiFi is free however which is nice.

Love the location and walkability to metro, metropolitan park, shopping and fast food. All of above was great! Front desk was very nice and texted and responded quickly. The two problems were sketchy hot water (sometimes yes...sometimes no) and the fire alarm going off at 7 am and having to evacuate the building. Also, the power went off twice the first night.
