The bathroom is very small, and it was full of hair and not clean, coffee was cold and none. Breakfast is very limited to very few items.

I xalled a sgmhort while after setting it up because I picked tge wrong date and I had a hatd time understanding the lady.She wouldn't let me change it. I asked why, but I couldn't understand her answer, then she hung up on me. I was very nuce to her, but the language barrier made her hard to understand.

Very limited area for free breakfast & very limited breakfast offerings. Room was clean but motel was out of the way. Surrounding area had minimum grass & trees.

Crack at the bottom of door room . staff memeber threw door card keys at me instead of handling to me politely.. and bathroom had unfinished wall electrical plates covering it. Unfinished wall.

The lady running Econo Lodge said that I did not reserve a room and that she was full! I gave her the confirmation number along with proof that I had called and spoken to her on Monday. But there was nothing she could/would do. So my wife and I had to drive an hour to Ottawa to find a room.
I don’t know what happened, but I now have serious reservations about using Expedia for booking my future stays.

The quality for the price was fair. Parking is very limited. I arrived late and when I ringed the doorbell the lady came out and just said 'We don't have rooms" She didn't bother even asking if I had a reservation which I did. Very rude!

It was well priced. You definitely get what you pay for. Our room had someone's body hair all over the bottom of the tub and hair on the floor. There were also toenails under the top comforter.

I stayed for 8 days and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed my stay there. It was close to most of what I wanted and mostly quiet.
Rooms are remodeled or in the process of being remodeled. Room was nice size and the bed very comfortable.

The room was quiet and clean. The check in was quick, easy, and friendly. Breakfast was okay. A very good stay that was VERY good, given the cost.

I'm Emporia on a regular basis for work and this is my go to spot to stay when I'm in town. Great price, clean rooms and the staff is really nice and easy to work with.

I have stayed at this property before and I certainly appreciate the improvements and renovations that the new owner has done. The room I stayed in was definitely an improvement from previous stays. And the parking lot was very well lit which I appreciated for security purposes. Although I didn’t personally partake of the breakfast I did see that they had a good selection of items, including waffles.

Seemed to be recently redone.
Used too much peppermint deodorant, was kind of overwhelming. What ever they used on the floor was sticky. Other than that room was great for the price.
Had some orange juice in the morning but went across the interstate to the Braums for breakfast..

Delightfully surprised how nice the room was. Big, clean, possibly recently remodeled. Desk receptionist was very friendly. Definitely will stay here again.

The first room we got had no heat. But we got another room that worked. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6, but we had to wait several minutes for them to get set up.

motel is undergoing renovation, no carpet in the downstairs hallways, doors do not fit well latched with great difficulty, bugs in room (cockroaches I think) hole in the fiberglass shower surround. I would not in any case recommend this
property at least until the renovation is done
